  1. This looks great, I can't wait to try it! I'm always trying to find stuff to do with my Sabre, and fighting against ufo MIG 15s is just not enjoyable anymore. Happy to have some choice! Thanks!
  2. I was so excited when I saw the title of this thread, I thought I would finally be able to have my favourite Peanuts character on my plane!
  3. Perhaps someone can make an antigravitational quantum singularity mod. Other than that and the negative thousand thing, I'm fresh out of ideas.
  4. Have you tried just changing the weight to a negative number in the script on the OP? So make it sandbag = -1000
  5. Holy crap, I had no idea! I'm away from my computer now for a while, but I will try this as soon as I'm back! Thanks for the learning moment!
  6. Thanks for the detailed reply, and sorry about getting it wrong on #2, I just played the mission again, and your are correct, it does not say anything about starting the climb at Amiens. My mistake! Regarding the other items, I totally get it regarding the AI not acting reliably, and having to choose between evils to get them to do something like what you want them to do! I do have one more question, if I may: it says if you have to ditch in the Channel, to use radio channel D to call SAR. I, er, had occasion to use this on that last mission, but I wasn't sure what to do after switching to D. I tried to open the comms menu expecting an F10 option, but I couldn't open the menu. I also tried using the little Morse code paddle to send SOS a few times, but no luck. Any hints there? Thanks again!
  7. Hi @Reflected, great work on the campaign! I just finished the first sortie, and there are a couple of things I wanted to report to you, as they didn't seem correct to me: 1. In the briefing, it says the flight will be about ten minutes at wave top level. In reality, the formation flies at about 1500 feet over the water. It seemed higher than expected. 2. The briefing says that the flight will stay low until Amiens and then climb. In reality, the flight starts to climb while still over the Channel. 3. After merging with the bandits over France, the furball goes for a while (fun!), and then both sides stop fighting, and everyone heads for home. I was expecting the RAF to break off at some point due to low fuel, and the Luftwaffe to chase for a bit. What's weird here is that the Luftwaffe planes fly parallel to the RAF planes, and nobody engages anymore. At some point they diverge, but I didn't notice where, as I was almost out of fuel and running for home. Anyways, please take this as constructive feedback, not complaining. I hope to be helpful in making this campaign the best.
  8. Thanks so much for doing this! I've recently rediscovered this plane, and I'd forgotten how good it is. I can't believe it doesn't get more attention! Looking forward to the upcoming updates and training missions!
  9. I am also using a Quest Pro, and both the headset and desktop software are fully updated. So far it's still working.
  10. If you can't get in the cockpit of a mod, then yes that usually means you don't have something that the mod needs in order to fly.
  11. I downloaded these missions a long time ago, and they are still one of my go to missions that I'll play over and over again for a relaxing flight. I like flying it in the rain, it gives it a very "grey 80s cold war Europe" feeling. When I was in Germany in the 80s, I would see flights of Tornados at low level all the time, so this is a really cool feeling for me. Thanks for this great mission!
  12. This was an awesome campaign! Still works! I really enjoyed it!
  13. Sehr gut, danke schön!
  14. How do you remove banding using Reshade?
  15. Any chance of changing the thread title? I keep thinking there's a new version, only to find it's still the same one from almost 2 years ago.... Maybe just put the release date on the title instead?
  16. Great to hear! Even with the latest update it still looks terrible at night, so I'm looking forward to trying this out!
  17. Hey thanks for the detailed reply. I'm sorry to hear this, bit given the work involved, it's totally understandable. Just curious, I've heard that the upcoming DCS web editor will allow you to port whole missions over to another map (see around the 0:40 mark of this video: Would something like this make things easier? I guess there's still the issue of Amiens prison missing, and I'm not sure the web editor copies triggers, etc. Anyways, just thought I'd ask. Thanks again!
  18. My question is, well, the title . I got all excited when I saw there was a campaign for the Mosquito, but I don't have the Channel map, and given that it's mostly encompassed in the Normandy 2 map now (which also has better performance compared to the last time I trialed the Channel map), I probably won't buy the Channel map at this point. Is there any plan or chance for releasing this campaign for the Normandy 2 map? Thanks! (PS I currently have The Big Show and Jagdflieger in my cart, looking forward to flying those!)
  19. Well this looks pretty neat! I just stumbled across this for the first time, but I'm very interested. Maybe I can get my VTOL VR F45 fix in DCS soon!
  20. This looks great! Have you considered using the avionics from the Su33 instead? That would allow air to ground missions as well. Of course I know nothing about modding, maybe that's a lot more work. Anyways keep up the great work, I can't wait to try this!
  21. This looks great! I can't wait to get home from family Christmas to try this!
  22. Hi there, I've recently rediscovered the A4, and I'm enjoying learning it all again, using the latest v2.2 update. One thing I'm having trouble with though is wheel brakes. I see that the mod has differential steering now, which is nice, but I think there is a bug with the coefficient of friction between the wheels and runway when the brakes are locked. My main problem comes when I try to land the plane. I apply the brakes, and the wheels actually lock up (the animation shows them not turning when the brakes are fully applied, and turning properly when brakes are not applied). The thing is, having the wheels lock up does not slow down the plane at all. I consistently run off the end of the runway even though the tires are screeching all the way. I tried pumping the brakes like they taught us in driver's ed 30 years ago, and it seemed to help slightly, but I can't help thinking there's something wrong here, either with the plane or the pilot! Any hints? Thanks
  23. I'm still using this mod on 2.9 MP servers, no problem
