I have high hopes that the upcoming beta release on March 1 will include Normandy 2, especially with the recent announcement of the Mosquito campaign being included in that release. Would seem odd to make a campaign for the Channel with the Normandy 2 release seemingly imminent. All pure speculation and rumour mongering of course!

For Oculus headsets, it's called ASW (asynchronous space warp). You don't enable it in OpenXR toolkit, you enable it in the Oculus debug tool, which is in the same directory where the Oculus desktop software is installed. To turn it on, set it to auto. It will then run whenever it's needed. You can also use the Oculus tray tool if you have that. I've tried it using both the DCS and open composite versions of OpenXR, and it's worked for both since this whole DCS OpenXR saga began!

This would be great! I game also found that the only way to get rid of shimmering is to set MSAA to 4x, but to do so I have to turn down clouds to medium (from ultra before), and terrain shadows had to go off completely. So shimmering is gone in general, but no shadows, and clouds look extra <profanity>ty.

I think you can use sim hub, but it doesn't use the telemetry from the game, just the sound, so it's not the same effect. I for one would love to see native implementation of what SSASM does now. There are some limitations in the current 3rd party software, like no gunfire effects if unlimited ammo is on (apparently the telemetry data comes from the ammo count going down). I'm sure this is something that could be easily overcome by the actual game devs, simply by adding another telemetry output, say for every time a bullet leaves the barrel, etc. -
I would also love to see this. True, these disconnects are usually hardware related, but it sure would be nice to get back into the game! Strange thing is when I reconnect I can still hear my plane and control it (I get haptic feedback from my Buttkicker when pulling g's, etc), but the screen is black.

Googled this and didn't get much. There's a topic from 2016 here: ...But no real definitive answer, and it's also six years old now. So is there a way to get total flight hours in DCS standalone? Thanks!

Thanks very much. I ended up figuring out that if you hit Rshift+T, the gunsight for the left pilot and gunners just follows my head in VR. So that's solved. I also figured out that the gunsight for the right pilot is just hanging from the ceiling of the cabin, so I was able to just click on it and get it to come down. Gunsight for the right pilot turns on as described in the post before this one. So it all works now! I knew I had to be doing something wrong! New question: how do you get your door gunners to engage enemies? I was looking in the comms menu, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Hi there, I'm currently trialling the Huey, and when doing the training, I found I didn't have a reticle/sight show up on the windshield when the guy said it would. Also, when I switch to left pilot, I can activate the sight using M, but the view controls don't move it. Same thing happens when I'm controlling the gunners. View hat does nothing. In F2 mode and other exterior views, my view controls (8 way hat on HOTAS) work fine, so I know they are bound correctly. Also, I'm able to fire the guns no problem. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! Edit: I'm playing in VR, in case that makes a difference

Hi there, I was just wondering if there is a "cutoff date" for this. When you say "current owners", do you mean that anyone who had these maps as of the day of the announcement on Monday? Or if someone buys one of the maps between now and the release date, do they get the discount? Is the release date for N2 the cutoff date? Thanks!
