Agreed (and the update to the TAD & missing HMCS symbology). From the perspective of DCS adding OBOGS has zero impact I don't see anyone flying long enough to go through 5 liters of LOX LOL.

Both bases have been key to historical and current operations in the region. Ahmed Al Jaber AB, Kuwait....key base for Operation Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and many other War on Terror operations. https://www.afcent.af.mil/Units/386th-Air-Expeditionary-Wing/News/Tag/149339/ahmed-al-jaber-air-base/ https://nara.getarchive.net/topics/al+jaber+air+base+kuwait https://www.afcent.af.mil/Units/407th-Air-Expeditionary-Group/Fact-Sheets/Article/1884342/332nd-air-expeditionary-wing-fact-sheet/ Al Jaber was the scene of heavy U.S. bombing during the Gulf War. Iraqi forces took the base and occupied it until the last days of the war. https://irp.fas.org/imint/gwaps_02.htm Operation Southern Watch used by A-10s assigned for CSAR if any US assets went down in Southern Iraq. F-117s were deployed to the base in 1996 when Saddam threatened Kuwait (personally deployed there twice in 1995 & 1996). Operation Iraqi Freedom Operation Inherent Resolve, base used to launch strikes against ISIS (was scheduled to deploy there in 2015 until last minute change to go to Incirlik) Al Udeid AB, Qatar....key base for the War on Terror and other operations home of the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) that "controls" air operations across the region. https://www.afcent.af.mil/About/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/217803/combined-air-operations-center-caoc/ https://www.afcent.af.mil/Units/379th-Air-Expeditionary-Wing/ Serves as logistics, command, and other items for US Central Command. Played a role in every operation since War on Terror started. Home of US Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC)

You and me both...out of all the missing TAD & HMCS symbology having this added to both would be great!

Thanks @BIGNEWY after two repairs of DCS it's working now. PS I tried to upload my dcs.log file in that post but got a message that the log was to big to upload.

Started happening to me today and my laptop is not overclocked. Zero issues until today, on the latest build. Game crashes and no crash log is created. No issues in SP

Everyone saw the overlap from day one and I remember people saying both Syria and Sinai should one map. IMO that would be the best solution but don’t see that happening.

If that part of the map that had detail removed was because of contractual stuff it IS ED’s failure to know what was in Ugra’s contract when negotiating this maps contract. Ironically Ugra expanded the Syria map south AFTER Sinai was released. I also don’t see how Sinai having that part of the map in high detail would take away from Syria sales even if it eventually had a few airbases added. One map goes deep to the north the other to the south. And IIRC when originally release it was mentioned that some airfields in the now low detail area would likely be added (I may not be remembering correctly). at the end of the day it’s another communication failure in the DCS ecosystem that frustrates me the most and it’s another example of me losing faith in the ED and 3rd party ecosystem.

Huge foul IMO and to do it without even giving folks warning is even worse. I try to stay positive lately but this and other “issues” are ridiculous.

Not just pilots I reported that as a bug back in 2011 (ish) when I was still testing for ED. Their argument was they believe when hydraulic power is gone they would droop down (which is not accurate).

17 plus years A-10 crew chief experience so my post was based on 17 years launching, fixing, recovering, and managing the flight line and hours of conversation with ops. Out of all the hours talking with ops you often get answered that aren’t the same when talking to different pilots. Like I said a low weight A-10 maybe but normal ops not in my experience. Take it or leave it. PS…ED coding missing HMCS or TAD symbology would be a much better value than this IMO.

The A-10 absolutely can not maintain taxi speeds at idle. She can creep slowly at idle depending on the aircraft weight and the slop of the ground but to say she can taxi at idle is wrong. Nope

Using Google Earth you can adjust the date to see what is located where. If you change the dates (5/2010 through 9/2019) you if you zoom in you can see here Blackhawks, Chinooks, A-10s, KC-135s and other airframes are located.

Impacts looking through the TGP as well would be nice at least to have buildings and vegetation appear in the TGP and not magically pop up as you get closer as well.
