  1. You absolutely can trim the A-10 to straight and level flight in DCS without using the autopilot. It just takes patients.
  2. don't agree, it takes seconds to update once power on. but yes being able to preprogrammed HMCS profiles (and other things that a proper DTC would do) would be amazing. Just don’t see it happening, people have been asking, no begging, for this for years.
  3. Hopefully ED corrects so “ON” actually is always visible. certain items it doesn’t work right now. I turn a lot of items “on” you normally wouldn’t because we don’t get all the real world symbology that the HUD should show as a “fix”
  4. Nope if you’re left eye dominate the monocle goes over the pilots left eye.
  5. Never noticed any performance impact in the past until yesterday. Jumped in a mission on the Syria map and when I had the knee boards enabled FPS was cut in half.
  6. Current ops for real world A-10c is armed at EOR prior to takeoff and safe it at EOR after landing.

  11. Are birds enabled? Haven’t noticed in a while but in the past at low altitudes a random engine fire was caused by a bird strike IIRC.

    Don’t even care personally about an animated crew chiefs pulling cholks. Just give me a crew chief to marshal me out of the spot and then back into the spot during recovery. Not sure he still has it but I sent Wags the procedures crew chiefs accomplish during launch, recovery, arm EOR and dearm EOR for the A-10C. Don’t foresee folks wanting to deal with EOR (I know we would in the virtual 476th but don’t think most would) so IMO that isn’t important.
  13. they absolutely should not, for a dive bomb of 45 degrees or higher you pull the throttles back to idle. That’s per real world TTPs. I have never experienced this issue in DCS though.

    real world launches is one crew chief. Only have other shops show up for red balls. also your description of a launch isn’t correct. Only gear and seat pins are pulled and power isn’t applied.

  17. NVGs in VR are incorrect, you should get the same circle view as non VR. Been reported (or mentioned) for a long time.
  18. A-10 Crew Chief. And yes HMCS should be perfectly clear and the same visibility as without NVGs because the NVGs fold down over the monocle.

  20. @Deezle Correct CDU Mark Points (A - Y) can be deleted by pressing the DELETE MARKPOINT button on the CDU. The blank butting to the left of the “BCK” button is the Delete CDU Mark Point button. simply have a mark point pulled up on the WAYPT page and press it to delete.
  21. No it’s a monocle aka one eye. Normally over the right but technically over the pilots dominate eye.
  22. Placard doesn't change when you update the "Board Number" in the rearm menu and displays incorrectly no matter what. Error is in both "factory new" and "worn" texture options.
