I have the new patch installed and did a 45 minute flight go some first impressions. I didn‘t get any saturation sounds and warning displays in the UEFD wether in hold modes or not. In the last two patch versions I got messages even not in hold modes nearly each minute in flight.

Appearance of the alignment rings in the boresight unit has changed for me in today‘s patch. This is in VR. Does anybody noticed this, too? I didn‘t find something about it in the actual patch list.

Installed today‘s OB patch and did a first flight. I noticed some changes, too. Especially pedal behaviour changed was my impression. I think hold mode doesn‘t fight against pedal input as strong as bevor this new Patch. At least in hover with hold modes I noticed it. Heading hold is more stable I think. Hovering without hold mode I thought is easier and more stable as less pedal input needed. when rolling on the ground straight forward I had to apply right pedal. In previous versions I always had to apply some left pedal for rolling straight forward and tailwheel unlocked. just a few first impressions. Will do some more testing the next days.

UH60 Blackhawk would be a perfect buddy to the Apache in the air assault role. CH47D would bring really cool lifting capabilities for fast moving equipment on the battlefield!! I‘d love both in DCS…but this will not happen….so I‘d be more than happy getting one of the two !!?

Well, I personally prefer the flying machines ( some say they do not really fly) with the Prop on their Top than on the Nose ….but there‘s no doubt the skyraider is a really iconic plane….a real warhorse!!!! Congrats to this excellent choice

Actually, I gave up on using Vaicom in the AH64. I don‘t know on which side the issues are related, but it‘s no fun using both together. Sometimes it works more or less, sometimes it doesn‘t. This is so sad!! What is more realistic than simulating radio speech via voice recognition? I haven‘t gave up all my hopes, that It will be working again. Though the disappearing of Hollywood ( I really hope he‘s well!!!) is now nearly 6 months ago.

A DCS:UH60 Blackhawk full official module would be fantastic!! It‘s the correct utility buddy to the Apache. I‘d wanna fly missions Blackhawks flying air assault or CSAR while Apache fly cover…… The Mike Model is the latest variant with glass cockpit and autopilot, which would be a beautiful full module. The existing Lima Model in DCS is a mod, which is really awesome and I love to fly. I‘d also be more than happy if the mod-team got the chance to make it‘s way to a full official module for DCS.
