  1. Can you confirm the file format please? Is it BMP/PNG/JPG?
  2. The SSL section of server configured for dcs.world is improperly configured. With http://dcs.world it redirect to https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/ (fine) With https://dcs.world it uses wrong certificate, hence SSL connection is not established fully. null@silverdevil the source of your error is that you are typing just dcs.world. By default this will be completed with http:// prefix, which in turn means no SSL. This is why it works for you. The original poster is correct.
  3. Small update on Ka-50 target point in ABRIS being offset-ed: - affects only missions where the route is entered mission editor. I believe that ABRIS starts entry of targets with reference point set to the last waypoint. This in turn is causing the SharkPlanner to incorrectly set the target locations, since it makes assumption that starting point is co-located with airplane - missions with no waypoints in ME are not affected: targets are properly entered even if you define waypoints with SharkPlanner before. At this moment I am not sure how to distinguish between these 2 states.
  4. Just did Mach 1.61 with Jeff at 40k
  5. You have a single engine having way less thrust than viper. I am new to Jeff, but you can try the following: 1. remove 2xPLII 2. place 2xSD-10 3. attach Jammer. Climb to to 26kft with no afterburner, than climb to 40k with afterburner, level out, dive to 30kft at 15 degree, level out and climb back to 40k. You should end up with Mach 1.4 or a bit more. Fire your 2 missiles and run away.
  6. I suggest you watch the trk both in SP and MP. And try it youself.
  7. null
  8. Congrats you really managed to find the corner case, that may require the ED dudes to take a closer look. Pity we do not have the original trk with tomcat. Against Hawkeye I think there was no jamming involved and I do believe this might be a totally different case. Here is what I think happened here, after replying your trk and taking over the control myself several times: - the radar of Mig-29 really lost the track, however when the radar looses track it will try to work in memory mode while extrapolating the positions for several seconds. - the missile kept flying after the loss of track and in relative proximity of target it needed to cover way to target amounting to ~ 1.1km (which at that moment did not maneuver hard enough), it reached the vicinity of target, where the proximity fuse got activated. It is worth to note that proximity fuses work only in single player. Due to the network latency in MP and speed of missiles, even the smallest delay can cause the proximity fuses to activate too late for explosion to destroy the target. Therefore MP has actually less realistic system which guides missiles for direct impact. Let's wait for the ED's verdict.
  9. Is there a hot key for this damage window?
  10. Thank you, I already replied the first UFCP ticket. Many thanks for the reply and fix.
  11. I read your message too late (was busy finding the mouse tool and figuring out how to capture both mouse tool and game), but I recorded the video for this one already so I will past it the end of message. If I got it right the reasoning is that the user will not feel it necessary to change between E/W hemisphere due to the fact that there are no modern maps that cover both hemispheres at the same time. At this moment I am aware only of Normandy 1/2 and perhaps Channel maps. At prime meridian we could perhaps count Algerian War as the most significant modern war, but likely this will not be covered with maps in near future. As for 180, well this is already at level where there is 0% interest. While it is convenient to have this to default value supported by the MAP, it should be noted that we are are missing a tiny bit of FF airplane here. I do not know any other module that does not allow you this. I can understand that you may prefer not to deal with this limitation at the moment, especially when more severe bugs are out there. For me personally this a low priority bug, but it would be nice to fix this in future. Just to be on the safe side: does UFCP default for maps west of 0 meridian to W hemisphere? I will send you additional context via PM.
  12. You can not launch at 4 o'clock. Launch has to occur within Radar/EO gimbal limits. Afterwards, provided that HOJ was activated on launch it will track the source of ECM emission. He can turn away and laugh as he escapes amraam by turning cold. As long as there is emission it will track. The only better shot than ET shot is ER shot on someone who does not pay attention to this risk. One more thing, once you are close enough EO might provide ranging information, often before radar burnthrough. So flanker may have more info than his opponent employing same tactic without EO. This especially funny against space eagles.
  13. You can not do this with your own airplane: 1. Lock 2. Launch 3. Drop lock, missile will go ballistic. 4. Lock again, and missile will not continue guiding. This was corrected earlier this year, since the IRL manual explicitly states re-locking is not possible. This means in turn that other aircraft has absolutly not the chance to do the same. I am pretty sure you got this wrong. The only reason he had received the R-27 is due to the jammer being on.
  14. Thanks. Meanwhile: - it turns out that on Rotorheads I can not reproduce target problem. So it works in some cases. - I reworked conversion between decimal degrees into Degree/Minute.Decimal and Degree/Minute/Second.Decimal formats, and fixed the rounding error (you could get 60 minutes/seconds in waypoint list, and likely during module entry). It turned out that rounding in Lua is not the best covered area and it took me a while to implement a solution. I promised myself to keep SharkPlanner a relaxed hoby and not to write any unit tests, but this topic forced me to write them. This feature/fix is not yes released, and will be in 1.6.0 - I started writing basic user documentation, so far I did it with JF-17 and Ka-50, with Gazelle and F-16 to follow. - At some point I got asked to add ability to add waypoints vie keyboard shortcut, e.g. SPACE. Adding keyboard interaction would mean I would need to freeze the input controls while SharkPlanner is visible. E.g. this is already the case if you focus on Waypoint list and use arrow keys. Does anyone see this as a problem if I restrict the keyboard input? - In addition: I kept being asked to add Apache and some other modules. My policy is to implement only modules I own, but I welcome a help. I wrote some documentation on how to add the new module support here: https://github.com/okopanja/SharkPlanner/tree/main/Development . So anyone with some lua skills could implement the module support. I provided heavily commented template, but will likely continue correcting errors.
  15. Attempted with induced delay up to 1 second and AI, unable to reproduce. I will need to try this against human, likely the opportunity will be in 10 days.
  16. Just to let you known, looks like experimental target point entry in Ka-50 stopped working with 2.9. I used only way-points since and was mostly busy with JF-17 so I did not notice this...
  17. Is there a difference, I went through Quick Guide and Flight Manual and could not find the reference to 200, except that there are 200 channels, and that in knee-board I can find frequencies. I hope we do not divert topic too much from bug report.
  18. You were jamming and his missile homed on your jamming signal.
  19. Newbie Jeff pilot here, what is channel 200 used for?
  20. During one flight I launched the 2x C-802AKGs and was forced to fight. During this fight both opponent and me got killed. Later on tacview I noticed that cruise missiles have committed self destruct precisely at the time of my own destruction. This is 100% reproducible in both SP and MP, so I am wondering if this is intended behavior or a bug. If the first one, can you please elaborate why? Attached trk file. CK-802AKG dies when JF-17 dies.trk
  21. @uboats can you please confirm this? (do I need to create a TRK for this?)
  22. @uboats can you please confirm this? (do I need to create a TRK for this?)
  23. @uboats is there any workaround for this?
  24. After the war the Serbian Ministry of Defense did disclose the full list of taken casualties and scored hits. The information on downed Tomahawks comes from that source. Untrue, both search radar and targeting radar did see the target. Targeting radar locked the target on 3rd attempt. Again untrue: - the pair of F-117A attacked (unsuccessfully) that evening Anti-Aircraft Defense command post in Rakovica, 48km/25nm away from the location of SAM. - at the time of hit F-114A was 14km from SAM. Untrue: EWRs did not detect the F-117 flight at any time. As for repeated routes: you may want to investigate about "Elvira" and what role it had in the stealthiness of F-117. After many years the case was declassified and the book published by colonel Slavisa Golubic titled "PAD NOĆNOG SOKOLA". Colonel Golubović was an officer in 3rd r.d. of 250 rocket brigade at the time of the event. The book is a chronicle of activities of this unit during the war and includes detailed accounts of downing of F-16 as well. While preparing the material for the book, he has interviewed the crew members and obtained the signed testimonies of all participants. It also includes the parameters of the F-117 flight and explicit statement that HQ brigade (owning the EWRs you mention) did not provide any information on the F-117 flight. In fact there is chapter of the book addressing all of the untruths and half-truths published during the years on internet. In order not to repeat myself kindly read following topic, where I translated an excerpt from the book. The book itself is expected to be translated into English.
