  1. Same here.. tried several times to join MP: crash offline: fine
  2. I never lost the target from the TWS track.. didnt even got near to gimball limit .. the C simply went above into the moon itself .. Funny enough recently i got a double kill against 2 Flankers doing the exact same profile attack with 2 54Cs.. at arround 40-50nm , lofted 20º .. turned arround 20º crank losing alt .. both hit .. i dont recall any update to the Tomcat in between.. In the mission i created to test BVR (1 vs SU-30) the 54C is kinda hit and miss where the 120C and Meteor does much better.. even the R-33 in the MIG-31
  3. Just fixing the wingtip bug would be allready a massive improvement.. then the computed sight .. wich unless was that bad in the original..its completelly useless in the DCS world .. or better than that.. the ADI and so slowly dissaligning in flight
  4. Not necesarily.. thats not how fox3 missiles work.. They are labeled as fire and forget.. of course thats far from it.. they work when fired at a target they calculate a point to intercept where they expect to find the target when the seeker goes pitbull.. the problem is that against manevoering targets if you dont keep the target in TWS or STT and send updates.. if the target maneovers the missile probably wont find it when goes pitbull.. but it still will perform the intercept atempt based on last updates it got from launching platform.. That phoenix should had dived to meet the target where it expected it to be when i turned away.. of course if the Flanker maneovers the missile will probably miss.. but this missile didnt did that..it just keept climbing into low orbit the missile didnt did that before .. i have seen lots of phoenix shots and we can debate about the acuracy of the seeker or performance but until last update they did what they were suposed to do and tried at least to intercept last known position or expected position of the target.. now they are just climbing into never ever
  5. I did another yesterday.. same situation.. SU-33 heading straight 30nm.. i fire level at him.. then he fires a R-27ER.. then mid course i turn arround to defeat his missile.. the AIM-54C just went to 120K f complety missing the flanker... it didnt had my updates since i turned away but it should at least dived to the calculated intercept position to engage its radar.. it just went into low orbit...

I have more than 150 hours in the Tomcat.. i dont expect them all to hit but we are talking about firing in TWS Auto at a single AI target and the missile going just by the side of the AI For example one of the 5 events yesterday (yes i flew more after this post with identical results..phoenix just flew to the target and jut flew by) ] Here i am facing 2 SU-33s ..closest one is about 30nm .. i got him as number 1 and the second as num2 .. i pull up 30º to loft the missile and fire then the missile goes loft as espected.. i keep the bandit in TWS to update it.. but missile just goes by doing nothing..i even wondered seeing the tacview if it was going for the second flanker but no.. second flanker keep straight...phoenix fly over it as well doing no dive at all I adjunt the tacview if you want to take a look Tacview-20231124-234707-DCS-Client-4YA_Cau_PVE2_V2.67[01_JAN_FEW].zip.acmi
  7. Phoenix missile is completelly broken and useless Fired 4 just in a flight before and non hit.. not just they didnt hit... 3 of them just flew past the target doing no atempt to intercept whatsoever
  8. I cant see the launch override option in keyboard or binds anymore.. maybe thats the reason? any way to restore thay?
  9. LGBs and JDAMs or any guided bombs continue not working.. brimbstones do work well tough

Still going on and today i switched off both batteries when the warning came 70ºC temp and they never went away to the end 45m later Edit: I just redid the mission but as i was with everything running taxing for take off i switched off both batteries (including warning) and despite this about >40m into the flight still got the temp warning on both..and it never went away

The problem is the option is missing in jester menu Im in the back seat.. get the target and lock it in LANTIRN all good.. then move to front seat.. i can see for 2 or 3 seconds the target in the VDI screen correctly and then Jester goes "searching to area track" and loses track.. i go to jetster menu Q y there is the SNOW , the SWP, QMAP but no QDES opt the funny part: I jump back to the sea rear set and press the hat right QDES and it recovers the target inmediatly .. so there is a target designated.. it doesnt work in the front seat happens in multiplayer .. just tried in SP did the same and jester does show the QDES option and recovers target
  12. Yes , im having same problem.. everything (missiles and bombs) in external views (F2, F6) shakes constantly
  13. Is the same issue as this: How can i post a track shorter? i have tracks of last MP mission where this happent but its a +2 hour track ..its 85mb

I have seen a F-5E AI outfuel a F-15C on MP PvE while doing barrel rolls jinking at over 650knots.. when the eagle fueled out after chasing it for like 10m the F-5E then climbed at 700 knots to angels 30 and rtb supesonic.. it was utterly ridicolous.. And yesterday in MP PvE again a guy in a Viper and me in a Hornet intercepted a 21 that was closing on the main pack .. it just began doing 1 circle fights at over 600K .. i couldnt keep up with it in the Hornet neither could the Viper guy... until 5m later it just plumeted to the ground presumibly for fuel starvation (unlike the magical F-5 from above) I didnt tried the MIG-21 on DCS but im pretty sure it cant outrate both a Hornet and a Viper doing way over 500 knots

Yes thats the issue.. the 10A doesnt have the option or keybind to switch the bomb fuze.. there is a switch in the cockpit for that with the standard options Nose/Nose-Tail/safe .. but unlike the ripple, quantity,interval and so other switches wich can be moved with keybinds.. there is none for the fuse setting.. so the mk84 drops aparently in Nose . A pitty since the A-10A as said its the only jet i have that cant kill a bunker.. the SU-25s and the rest of russian jets have the BETAB-500 concrete piercing bomb wich works fine (well and the F-5 wich can only carry one mk84 )
  16. Yes but that doesnt seem an option in the A-10A... i can see the fuze type in mission editor but i cant change it even in the editor.. so the A-10A its the only jet i own that cant destroy a bunker/ammo depot even droping 7 mk84s together on it

I can with the F-15C , Flankers and the F-14.. but in the F-15 for example you need to have tanks hanging from the wings and if not you need like over 12Gs (still unrealistic as the 15C wings will take 12Gs irl , with damage certainly but wont snap off clean, one even pulled 12Gs in a dogfight with a MIG-25 in Irak and kept flying the mission without issues, tought maintenance probably wouldnt be happy after he returned) . The F-14 it wil also snap the wins if doing a pull hard enought at high speed. The Flankers need to deactivate the angle of attack limiter and do a hard pull at high speeds Again.. i had my F-5 wings broke off even doing supersonic merges with bandits without turning much.. like if the wake broke them or something
  18. For the last days i began to see this weird thing in external F2 cam.. the pilot would remain in some point of the cat launch animation. Usually it will go with the hand in the tower rack for the entire flight.. but i have also seen the hand in half salute position when when this happens i checked with other players (multiplayer servers) and they can see my pilot in this position as well..theirs are fine and i can see they normal too

Nope.. scratch the blackouts being gone.. i had to come here and write that after not having them for 3 days and today had 2 in a row with both F-14A and B and with different payloads (one 2 GBU-24s and the other 4 GBU-12s both + 2 9M and 1 7P) so the blackouts are still there... launch attitude is good tough
  20. One one side i think the cat launch blackouts are gone.. havent had one for a couple days.. launch is also nice now..not suden pitch up or down..

Im learning stuff in this mod ... most things work but for some reason i cant drop guided bombs.. i watched the tutorials.. use the targeting pod and lock, activate laser and i get a LA in the HUD but nothing drops when i trigger.. i do the same with the brimbstone missiles and they fire, work and track fine.. LGB and TV bombs simply dont drop even with a LA.. Any hints on this? Also i tried dumb bombing with CCRP like in the russian hud its using and the bomb for some reason fell short ..massivly.. like 300m short from a 1500f drop at 400k
  22. Just had the same issue.. did the mission wich starts hot in the runway with everything set.. took off and climbed to 30K and began cruising.. about 40m into flight got the temp warning on both batteries 70ºC.. nothing i tried would cool them down
  23. I just count the clicks.. it starts by default in ch1 so if i want to go to ch10 i use 9 clicks.. after a while you allready get the positions (at night you can use a flashlight iirc)
  24. suspension is indeed quite improved.. love the bouncing (now feels like a suspension) and its more manageable on the ground.. before it felt like a go kart sometimes..not moving not moving then dart ahead ..brakes work better now as well as they brake more than bicycle brakes on a train

Ok did more testings.. you are right.. pitching up is much less than before and not much pitch down afterwards .. so seems to be ok... i guess i asumed it was still the same after the first pitch up after update but further repeated launches showed its much better blackout its still there.. as you say it occurs like 0.5s after the cat fires and goes away right as the jet leaves the deck.. still unerving
