  1. Is the same issue as this: How can i post a track shorter? i have tracks of last MP mission where this happent but its a +2 hour track ..its 85mb

I have seen a F-5E AI outfuel a F-15C on MP PvE while doing barrel rolls jinking at over 650knots.. when the eagle fueled out after chasing it for like 10m the F-5E then climbed at 700 knots to angels 30 and rtb supesonic.. it was utterly ridicolous.. And yesterday in MP PvE again a guy in a Viper and me in a Hornet intercepted a 21 that was closing on the main pack .. it just began doing 1 circle fights at over 600K .. i couldnt keep up with it in the Hornet neither could the Viper guy... until 5m later it just plumeted to the ground presumibly for fuel starvation (unlike the magical F-5 from above) I didnt tried the MIG-21 on DCS but im pretty sure it cant outrate both a Hornet and a Viper doing way over 500 knots

Yes thats the issue.. the 10A doesnt have the option or keybind to switch the bomb fuze.. there is a switch in the cockpit for that with the standard options Nose/Nose-Tail/safe .. but unlike the ripple, quantity,interval and so other switches wich can be moved with keybinds.. there is none for the fuse setting.. so the mk84 drops aparently in Nose . A pitty since the A-10A as said its the only jet i have that cant kill a bunker.. the SU-25s and the rest of russian jets have the BETAB-500 concrete piercing bomb wich works fine (well and the F-5 wich can only carry one mk84 )
  4. Yes but that doesnt seem an option in the A-10A... i can see the fuze type in mission editor but i cant change it even in the editor.. so the A-10A its the only jet i own that cant destroy a bunker/ammo depot even droping 7 mk84s together on it

I can with the F-15C , Flankers and the F-14.. but in the F-15 for example you need to have tanks hanging from the wings and if not you need like over 12Gs (still unrealistic as the 15C wings will take 12Gs irl , with damage certainly but wont snap off clean, one even pulled 12Gs in a dogfight with a MIG-25 in Irak and kept flying the mission without issues, tought maintenance probably wouldnt be happy after he returned) . The F-14 it wil also snap the wins if doing a pull hard enought at high speed. The Flankers need to deactivate the angle of attack limiter and do a hard pull at high speeds Again.. i had my F-5 wings broke off even doing supersonic merges with bandits without turning much.. like if the wake broke them or something
  6. For the last days i began to see this weird thing in external F2 cam.. the pilot would remain in some point of the cat launch animation. Usually it will go with the hand in the tower rack for the entire flight.. but i have also seen the hand in half salute position when when this happens i checked with other players (multiplayer servers) and they can see my pilot in this position as well..theirs are fine and i can see they normal too

Nope.. scratch the blackouts being gone.. i had to come here and write that after not having them for 3 days and today had 2 in a row with both F-14A and B and with different payloads (one 2 GBU-24s and the other 4 GBU-12s both + 2 9M and 1 7P) so the blackouts are still there... launch attitude is good tough
  8. One one side i think the cat launch blackouts are gone.. havent had one for a couple days.. launch is also nice now..not suden pitch up or down..

Im learning stuff in this mod ... most things work but for some reason i cant drop guided bombs.. i watched the tutorials.. use the targeting pod and lock, activate laser and i get a LA in the HUD but nothing drops when i trigger.. i do the same with the brimbstone missiles and they fire, work and track fine.. LGB and TV bombs simply dont drop even with a LA.. Any hints on this? Also i tried dumb bombing with CCRP like in the russian hud its using and the bomb for some reason fell short ..massivly.. like 300m short from a 1500f drop at 400k
  10. Just had the same issue.. did the mission wich starts hot in the runway with everything set.. took off and climbed to 30K and began cruising.. about 40m into flight got the temp warning on both batteries 70ºC.. nothing i tried would cool them down
  11. I just count the clicks.. it starts by default in ch1 so if i want to go to ch10 i use 9 clicks.. after a while you allready get the positions (at night you can use a flashlight iirc)
  12. suspension is indeed quite improved.. love the bouncing (now feels like a suspension) and its more manageable on the ground.. before it felt like a go kart sometimes..not moving not moving then dart ahead ..brakes work better now as well as they brake more than bicycle brakes on a train

Ok did more testings.. you are right.. pitching up is much less than before and not much pitch down afterwards .. so seems to be ok... i guess i asumed it was still the same after the first pitch up after update but further repeated launches showed its much better blackout its still there.. as you say it occurs like 0.5s after the cat fires and goes away right as the jet leaves the deck.. still unerving
  14. Still blackout on every cat launch wich is very annoying..specially considered its followed inmediatly by a hard pitch up and into a dive
  15. Ok i forced an update of the game just in case and afterwards it loged on ok.. might be a case of updating

Well i just repeated the mission..landed on the GW and carefully taxied clear of any elevator: no bom So i launch.. go to refuel and fly back, night trap.. again taxi very carefully avoiding any elevator and as soon as i line up to unfold wings right behind CAT3 the plane explodes.. it wasnt even near of any elevator...
  17. yesterday for example it was all F-14B ..i allways launch at mil as procedure in the B and the load was 2XAIM9 1XAIM-7 1-TPOD 2XGBU-24 and 2XGBU-16 for strike roles and also 2XAIM-9 2XAIm-7 and 4XAIM-54 ..all with 2 external tanks
  18. Also im getting now G-loc blackout on every cat shot Before last update it happent ocasionally.. now its on every cat shot wich coupled with the pitch up and that the blackout are longer than before..this will eventualy end wrong..

An upgrade of the F-5 would be worth if it would be a version that can carry more than 2AAMs.. has an actual HUD and at least as option those fixed inflight refuel probes .. plenty of variants with those upgrades in the 80s.. Getting one of the fancy later modified versions with MFDs would be quite a streetch being realistic.. but one can dream. The Spanish modernized F-5Bs used as trainers got a T-38C style cockpit and MFDs so its known stuff at least.. Otherwise leave it as it is or at least fix the bugs that have been unfixed for ages (wings breaking off in merges with bandits or other absurd situations or the ADI going out of alignment when cold starting constantly).. not worth an upgrade just to get INS and a modern radio..
  20. Wait.. so thats why in a mission i did to do cold start of all my naval jets , fly to a Nimitz, do stuff and so i added the 33 to have an easy jet to test the mission with and it randomly explodes in the deck taxing at any speed?
  21. did more testing and finally found how to do it in the Tomcat.. or at least an option that works.. its setting the fuze to VT .. droping 2 GBU-24s with fuze set to VT from above 20000 feet kills the bunker.. did it offline and online too.. will test some more like setting the fuze to off ..since VT is suposed to be for cluster..but somehow works

I have been having trouble with the Paveway in the Tomcat being unable to kill bunkers that i could easily destroy with the russian BETab-500 or the GBU-31 in the Hornet setting fuse to delay (or GBU-24 setting to tail) and just found out 2 GBU-24s in the Tomcat will kill a bunker setting fuse to VT so there you go...
  23. I think im going to do that because i just tried the mission.. F-14A and F-18C.. both same GBU-24 . climbed to 25000 feet to the bombs would have plenty time to speed up .. in the Tomcat tried both DLY settings (1 and 2) droping in pair ... they hit the deppot and it caughs fire but no destruction. got the Hornet.. same bombs, altitude 25000 but in the Hornet there is no delay fuze setting.. just being able to select TAIL . Droped from 25K in pair mode too... and voila!.. they kill the bunker .. so the difference here is the launching plane/fuze settings.. seems like the TAIL setting is correct as that works in the Hornet..but in the Tomcat there is no TAIL.. there is nose and nose/tail or the DELAY1/2
  24. No.. F-14 With the Hornet i can kill the bunkers fine with the GBU-31 (set to delay fuze), same with russian jets with the BetAB-500.. with all the other jets with normal dumb bombs i cant ... but the F-14 can carry the GBU-24 and it can set the fuze to DLY1 and DLY2 ... despite that i cant kill bunkers with anything thrown from the Tomcat..and the max i can throw its 2 GBU-24s and 2 GBU-16s
