  1. Nice one! You keep at it, if you're doing what you want to do. Excited for ya!
  2. What about the MFCDs in your cockpit, are they blank too or just the CDU?
  3. Any DCS World update will overwrite this mod, as the updater makes sure that you have the correct files. To overcome this I suggest you use JSGME (details here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607). These texture mods won't mess up MP (i.e you'll still be able to play MP and also see the effects of the mod).
  4. Is your CDU on a second screen/monitor? How have you configured this?
  5. Does indeed sound like the button click is registering as being held down. Go to Windows properties of your x52 and untick the box that says something like Latch buttons (not at my PC, can't check exact label).
  6. Don't know about Ubuntu but I've certainly been convinced to buy the Huey!
  7. I wouldn't worry too much about what that test window says, try it in game! Sounds to me like you're setting it up correctly. I'll have to see what my test window says for the Right Alt and Ctrl keys.
  8. Make sure you save your profile and then select it from the Tray icon (on your Windows taskbar), also make sure the selector on your joystick (that switches between the 3 colour modes) is on the right one.
  9. Do you mean this one? You can hear him clearer right at the end. :)
  10. I tend to go for best motherboard/cpu combo I can afford at the time, then let everything else fall into place around it. Not that you should go cheap on the rest, I just find them easier to upgrade. Edit: also, what Random said :)
  11. That is an odd one; at least it's partly solvable! Yeah, always good to see local pilots :)
  12. They sound vaguely alike; video was good though.
  13. Unless of course it's not a static IP address. Better to make sure your passwords are strong, different from any other passwords you have and changed regularly.
  14. What if you change your total resolution (in DCS options) to match your desktop resolution , including the second monitor but keep the above lua, which should still exclude it; you may not be able to use it, it'll probably be blank but might solve your problem.
  15. Welcome. Just so you know, there is a meet and greet in the Chit-chat section. :) Edit: which is where this has now been moved to!
  16. To get all of the indicators to appear (i.e beyond just the MFCDs) requires a few additional files, or at least changes to existing ones. Will try to find a link. Edit: try these from PeterP http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1541311#post1541311
  17. Glad you got it sorted. I do hate computers sometimes!
  18. This. And it even records 3 separate audio streams: the game, my mic and Teamspeak, which is very handy. Shadowplay is also good but audio quality not the best.
  19. Good work. Bookmarked and registered!
  20. Okay. So you can assign roll and throttle in command menu, under axis tune it works fine, axis isn't assigned anywhere else, no external mapping software installed, works in all other modules, with A-10C it doesn't work. What does the in game axis display window show (Right Ctrl + Enter)? Edit: Do you have Teamspeak installed?
  21. Do the buttons on your x55 work, or is just the axes you're having trouble with?
  22. Does that include the configs in your My Documents/Saved Games/ folder? I'm unsure what it's called (maybe Inputs or something) but try renaming this so DCS creates a new one.
  23. I think AtaliaA1 means Notepad ++, unless you're planning on rewriting DCS! :)
  24. You can save your replay, then watch it back and take over at any point (assuming the replay plays back correctly, which they often don't); this is as close as you'll get to a "save game".
  25. DCS World 2 Status Work continues on DCS World 2 with progress on file structure, clouds and other effects, changes to the front-end GUI, and of course improvements to performance. We are still striving for a late-December 2014 release, but if debugging takes longer than we hope, it is possible that the release could be pushed to January/February 2015. As always, stated dates and timeframes are our best estimates and not promises. Edit: sniped :)
