Are you using Helios on that second screen (I see that it's a touchscreen too, ideal)? Even better than 2 viewports; once you use it you'll never go back!

Completely agree with dburne, you would do well to pick up BS2 in one of the sales, save yourself the upgrade hassles.

Sgt_Fresh, can you confirm for us that your Win7 install is up to date?

When I went from a 22 inch 1080p monitor to a 27 inch 1080p I really noticed the difference in image quality; I don't think I'd go any bigger than 27 inches, unless it was a 4k. I say, stick with three screens!

If there's one thing I've learnt from playing games such as Battlefield online, some people cheat, some get lucky and some (most, in my case) are just plain better than you. I try not to bother myself with any of the above and just concentrate on enjoying myself. :)

My money's on MSSE having screwed with something. Even though you've uninstalled it, something may have been left behind (perhaps in the registry) and the fact that you can't reinstall it is ringing alarm bells. Why any of this would affect DCS I don't know but stranger things have happened. Have you got a restore point that you could roll Windows back to?

Recordings aren't always compatible between different versions of DCS World, especially major updates, so older recordings are less likely to work correctly. Edit: Track recordings in general have always been a bit hit and miss, with recordings more likely to corrupt due to multiple view changes and use of time compression. I have heard that replays work better in the beta version 1.5 but have yet to verify this myself.

Hi Frenchy, just wanted to add my thanks and appreciation for bringing the original NVG mod into 1.5. Looking good so far.

I have to agree here. Yes, i want my HD blue pit, green Shkval by Ebs, Isegrim's sounds... the list goes on, but we should all first help to make 1.5 the best, and most bug free it can be, before we tailor it to our own individual preferences.

Personally i don't see the need for pause or precision, so don't use them. Centre i have bound to Caps Lock, as no game seems to use that, although to be honest i find i only need to use Centre once per session.

Another silly question but did you save your profile AND re-select it from the Saitek Task Tray icon? Profile changes don't update until you clear then select the profile again. Edit: ignore me, I see from your first post that it works as expected in Notepad.

Correct, otherwise it will cap at 45 or 30 and even fluctuate between these values, unless of course the intention is to cap at a lower value.

In all seriousness, I do agree with you. And why is it that the first few hits the Hog takes always seems to take out the MFCDs and HUD? Drives me nuts! (Maybe I need to learn how to not get hit...).

While it is harsh to have both planes explode when they "tap wings", this isn't something that's ever going to end well. :)
