  1. Have you updated your DirectX recently? Give that a go, and maybe a clean install of DCS World.
  2. That's awesome; never noticed before as always fly with mirrors off. Who'd have thought a computer generated shiny surface could be so pleasing (although 20 years ago I was happily rendering reflective spheres on checkerboard floors, so I'm easily pleased).
  3. Make sure you don't have any duplicated assignments i.e brakes assigned to another axis or slider.
  4. Are you sure the pilot isn't blacking out? This can also happen if you collide with something.
  5. As much as I'd like them to, I'm not sure they will for such a minor issue, seeing as the Sabre is in beta.
  6. The crash issue won't be anything to do with your number of activations. You can check these when you activate/deactivate a module, although I believe they slowly replenish anyway, so also not an issue.
  7. You can fast forward, just can't rewind.
  8. You could quit, save the replay, then watch it back on fast forward and take over just before the end. Not that replays are very reliable. Apart from that, no.
  9. Make sure your "Flaps up" key command/joystick mapping isn't shared with anything else (like engines off, or something equally important!).
  10. Try this for the multiplayer issue: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96698 Sadly the other multimonitor issue (along with HDR, sun flare, map...) is years old, with no fix on the horizon :( EDGE to the rescue, hopefully.
  11. I would just grab a copy of BS2 in one of the sales; some users have had issues with the BS1 + Upgrade combo.
  12. Excellent work Ryan, well worth the wait!
  13. What about using iControl: http://bit-shift.com/icontroldcs/index.html#home
  14. Agree. Graphics cards are easier to upgrade; I'd always spend money on a decent CPU and upgrade the GPU when finances allow.
  15. Lack of details and only one blurry picture of a low poly model, doesn't inspire confidence. Didn't realise IndieGogo don't refund money on failed projects either; might give this one a miss. Edit: And what sobek said :)
  16. I'm going to go ahead and say no, I don't think you can run it, sorry; all of your specs look like they're below recommended. Looks like you have a 32-bit OS too, which is a big no. By all means download DCS World and give the Su-25 a whirl though, see how it runs.
  17. Why don't you download the latest DCS World and see how it runs on low settings? If you get acceptable frame rate then go for Black shark 2. It just seems silly to go for BS1 when you'll no doubt upgrade eventually. What are your current specs?
  18. I wouldn't say "much needed" but certainly it has it's uses. And yes it can look good, only if well implemented; even so, I'd imagine I'll be keeping this off most of the time.
  19. I think you're half right. To get the best profile I find you need to do it yourself, hand tune it to whatever suits you, but your profile will not necessarily suit everyone. I agree with Svend, start linear and go from there.
  20. Did you even try what Blooze suggested? And rolling back a version doesn't use an activation (as previously noted) and you get activations back eventually anyway.
  21. Not sure why I just bothered to read 14 pages of greetings... Might as well say hi then. Hi all!
  22. Aww, shucks. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy... So wait, join April 2011 but only start playing this January? Man, you've been missing out! :)
  23. I'm just going by my experiences; the change to 1.2.7 should not have cut your frames by half. Have you tried a fresh install of DCS World? Or tried a repair? Would be good to know your computer specs, and what frames you were getting/are getting. Maybe if you also start a new thread for your problem and post link to it here. We'll get you airborne again :pilotfly:
