  1. If you're in the UK DoxDirect will do an A5 ring bound (not spiral bound) print of the PDF for just under 40 quid for black and white; don't ask about price of colour! :shocking:
  2. I deserve this because of the amount of time and effort I've invested in attempting to get my X52 Pro to play nicely with Windows 10 and Intel USB 3.0 drivers; all in vain!
  3. WWII backer here too; key requested and saved. Thanks ED for honouring these backer rewards and rescuing the DCS WWII Europe dream! :joystick:
  4. Shame, only just spotted this thread, or I would have paid a visit; oh well, it's been a while, might go along this weekend instead.
  5. Thanks for the info, interesting to hear. Although, if I spent that much on a tv for my pc, the missus would probably surgically remove my misters. Shame.
  6. VLC here too, and still using Winamp for music. Will check out Media Player Classic though.
  7. Wow, very good of you; it's one i don't own so would love to be entered into the draw. Thanks! Edit: will your wife also be writing down all these names!
  8. I have the same problem on Android. You can actually tap search and then the Advanced Search link, instead of tapping the text box.
  9. I can no longer post to the DCS World wishlist sub-forum either. Last post was only a few days ago, so people are still posting there.
  10. I think by default TrackIR uses these keys and "traps" them so that other programs can't. Go into the TIR software and either assign different keys (to Precision, Pause and Centre), or disable these altogether. Personally i only use Centre and have it assigned to Caps Lock.
  11. Sorry, haven't updated sig, only had Win10 a week (on gaming rig). I forced the big November update, definitely got latest stable Saitek drivers too. No issues here. Edit: sig updated :)
  12. As others have said, DCS is a computer game but as it is attempting to realistically simulate an experience, in this case flight, it is also a simulator. gavagai has hit the nail on the head.
  13. Did you go through the procedure to completely wipe the old drivers and software, before installing the new? The new drivers/software was buggy for me until I did a complete wipe of everything Saitek, then reinstalled.
  14. Are you using the release drivers (no longer in beta)? These work fine for me. Make sure you uninstall all old Saitek software and drivers first, including Programming Support in Device Manager (show hidden devices), reboot, then install.
  15. Did you pick the 3 screen profile? Try the 1 screen profile, then input your full resolution in the box (you can type it in).
  16. Interesting discussion. There's no denying that DCS is both a great game and very hard for beginners. I'm no stranger to flight sims, and I consider myself relatively competent in the Ka-50, but as life only hands me a few hours a week in which to play, I find it difficult to maintain that level of competence. I do often wish that you could set the difficulty level for a mission or campaign, and by that I don't mean infinite missiles or invulnerability for me, I mean set the ability of the enemy and their missile effectiveness. I understand that this can be set for units in the mission editor but it's a shame it can't be set globally, at mission start. I think this would go a long way in helping out those that are struggling but enjoy the fidelity.
  17. Lol, it would seem so! Glad you got it sorted. I'm sure you know my reply was just a friendly suggestion, obviously we're all free to do as we wish with our paid for product.
  18. Not the answer you want to hear but in order to fully test the Alpha you shouldn't be copying anything in from anywhere, or using mods. I know, but we're here to help out ED, right?
  19. I would normally recommend that BS2 Upgrade owners pick up BS2 in a sale, to save themselves the upgrading hassle, however I see your point, surely ED could provide BS2 keys to upgrade owners, then make the upgrade obsolete?
  20. This, more than anything else. Never had a problem with tyres bursting but would really like to assign brakes to toe brake axis on rudder pedals.
  21. @ Fakum. I'd double check the email address that you registered with VEAO, just in case. I received an email from PayPal then VEAO almost instantly. £8.24 for the Hawk? Bargain!
  22. Sorry bud but that's personal preference, I don't think it needs fixing; maybe an invert external view axes in options?
