That cockpit rain drop effects has none present on the last DCS World version yet, and the wet surfaces on "2024 and Beyond" has no the same show on the "CH-47F" video, on fact, has a new suface wet texture on ships. And on ORBX Kola map (Same new raindrops and wet surfaces). Actualy 2.9.4, has only a wet plain texture.

Russian Infantry: What happened?
Silver_Dragon replied to Apocalypse31's topic in DCS: Combined Arms
Infantry coming on the core, no with the maps, on fact none infantry or other assets has "promise" with Afghanistan, Irak, etc (Marianas WW2 "PTO assets" coming on the WW2 assets pack and acutaly has none new infantry). Meanwhile, new infantry has show on the CH-47F anouncement video.... Us Soldiers with M4. -

------------- That Magnitude 3 has decided to build "assets" for the F-4U, which since they began the module developing (Leatherneck) it was already talking about the Essex aircraft carrier by -Rudel- (and a Iwo Jima map that was never confirmed), is simply a decision made by them as a company (that's what they are 3rd parties for), and No, it has nothing to do with ED. The same thing happens with Heatblur, who has done the Forrestal to you and some other things, in addition to what is coming, but we return to the same thing, they are their decisions. ED at the time of the P-51D did not have that WW2 assets pack, and did not even consider it (The P-51D was a proff of concept to making a piston aircraft on DCS World by Yo-Yo), until the reach the "drama" of RRG Stuidios and ED collected the remains, including that WW2 assets team. And yes, the other 3rd party that makes modules, Octopus-G, does not making assets, although the community is crazy about making equipment from the Eastern Front, and because there are "two" guys making their modules and because they has other plans, and because for now they have not considered it (maybe one day they will surprise us). And since we are here, I ask the question. F4U Corsair "bare" (without assets to after launch) Yes or No?"
-
----- Attacks on their ideas... I remind you that ED has a asset creation team (the ones that have put in the bombers and other assistance at the beginning of this year) and certain M1A2, T-155 Firtina, MRAPs and others to come (that we have to continue updating the old lomac and add more material)......., in addition to the specialized equipment of WW2 Or where do you think the CV-6 Enterprise, the Mogami and the AM6 Zero seen in "2024 and Beyond" came from? (confirmed by ED), work is being done there (they have already confirmed that more US and Japanese AI ships are coming), and yes, it is people apart from the 3D teams that create the external and internal material of the modules. I remind you that the Marianas map, both Modern and the current WW2 map are free. You will not have to pay absolutely anything for it (ED Map teams working on other 4 maps...) and that the ED WW2 units will be added to the WW2 Assistance Pack at no cost. (No, there is no "WW2 Pacific Assistance Pack"). Magnitude 3 has its own, which it has talked about during this time, which will come with the F4U Corsair, and for now, we do not know the complete list of what will come, which M3 has already confirmed, that there are many more in development, apart of the AI units shown in "2024 and Beyond", And in fact, the same M3 has dropped that more Japanese "material" could come in a "module" plan if there is luck, so here, that of "this will fall short " It does not work. And no, I don't have to convince anyone, I refer to the evidence...

"First Person Shooter" on DCS World
Silver_Dragon replied to Silver_Dragon's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Repeating this mantra over and over again will not change reality. DCS World has never had realistic physics for vehicles or ships, and CA was never planning to change this. It's just coming up with a nonsensical argument. Quite possibly the investment, equipment, experience and resources for an "acceptable" FPS is much greater than that. Only the Bf-109K-4 module was that amount, so let's imagine the investment that adding playable infantry in DCS World may require, we would be talking about a totally new "game", as well as vehicles and ships (all separate on funtionality). -
The invasion make a route on that zone. The only zones controled by the Soviets... the rest was a "No Man Lands" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet–Afghan_War Major operations was on the Panjshir valley, and other zones, but was unsuserful. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panjshir_offensives_(Soviet–Afghan_War)

-------- Sorry, but that is as false as a piece of wood... that some want things quickly and badly, does not mean that they do not bother to do it (they have proven it over time). What happens is that some are stubborn that if it is not "now and now" and cloning from others, that is of no use... An effect on a bomb that bounces in water is not made by the creator of a module, or by the intern. You need an engineer... and look at what physics has to do with this to make it real. And about Napalm and others, it is not only about putting a "nice" 3D effect (which you need a guy specialized in FumeFx), but you also have to simulate that the effect is real by another engineer... like the "where are they?" my shrapnel effect and so on".... Regarding objects... I would like to see the quality of DCS World in those that make things like hotcakes and then the quality is VERY debatable... and let's remember that ED is continually updating and creating 3D objects, even for WW2. In each major patch, you have updates and some new ones.

ED has buildings own assets (integrated on WW2 assets packs), and M3 your assets, coming with the F4U.... and on a good quality... About Skip bombing, that is not only a feature to WW2, has need implement by ED on the DCS core to all bombs, as incendiary effects to Napalp, etc.... and the "damage on hulls by detonations", the same situations, and none ship has actualy a "advanced ship damage model" to make them, as flooding, fire, etc as the DCS vehicles (from the LOMAC times). That has a very diferent beast, that will take a very long time, and not a copy paste bold effect from a very old "other simulator". You see them the IJA tanks and the Essex carrier working on "2024 and beyond" video.... that has working into DCS World develop version... as the CV-6 and the AM6 by ED... on movement and aircrafts deploy on the flat top.
