  1. finaly, DCS World 2.9.5 mayor path has release...
  2. Finaly your "minor" patch is here... No wait.... HAS a MAYOR patch
  3. "TM" has the point... the best movement.
  4. No, the only "identical" has the name. VSN F-4B/C has a mod, maked by the comunity, free, with simplified system, weapons and FM, without multicrew, carrier capable, ussing mod tools. Heatblur F-4E, has build by a 3rd party, under a signed contract with ED to make the module and sold them on DCS World, with access to the DCS World develop kit tools (SDK), and develop support by ED. Has Full Fidelity weapons, systems, radar, damage model, FM and full multicrew. If HB make a F-4B/N on the future, that will be carrier capable with the same features of a F-4E, with the propper FF UsNavy systems, and surely if HB implement SC on Forrestal CV, some interesting features. HB F-4 module will be improved with more features apply on DCS World core. About HB F-4E, only need check the "inherent complexity" of the actual FF module: Meanwhile VSN team has making a great work building the F-4B/C, and not bad in a future, has interesting to make a "jump" to some more advences, as convert on 3rd Party with propper modules.
  5. ED never put a Deadline, on fact, was Heatblur, based on a date patch on your pre-release video... the problem, Heatblur dont count with the patch will be a last time problems.

  7. Normal release times has 1500-1600 UTC.
  8. Reliable and available info to build that specialized version will be a handicap (on fact, ED dont make yet a Nightfighter fighter/escort/intercept yet). Other problem will be simulate the use, tactics and perfomance required to simulate night operations. My info about F6F (with Nightfighter variant). F6F-5 Hellcat Fighter Man Rtng: 3.5/2.5 Damage Value: 16 Size: Small Bombsight: Manual Sensors: 1944 - 150 F6F-3N night fighters with APS-6 Throttle Setting/Speed in knots Altitude Rng Cruise Full Power Low: 160 325 Med: 180 355 High: -- 330 Ceiling: 11369 m Engine Type: RP Cruise Range: 720 nm Int Fuel: 685 kg Additional Fuel Fuel Wt. (1.8) Escort Carrier Loadouts (max payload 1220 kg) • 1 150 USG drop tank, 2 100 USG drop tank • 2 500 lb or 1000 lb bombs, 1 150 USG drop tank • 6 5” HVAR, 2 100 USG drop tank, 1 150 USG drop tank • 6 5” HVAR, 2 500lb bombs, 1 150 USG drop tank • 6 5” HVAR, 2 11.75” Tiny Tim rockets • 6 5” HVAR, 3 250 lb or 500 lb bombs • 3 250 lb or 500 lb bombs Fleet Carrier Loadouts (max payload 2270 kg) • Any escort carrier loadout • 2 2000 lb bomb, 1 150 USG drop tank • 1 Mk13 torpedo, 2 100 USG drop tank • 6 5” HVAR, 2 2000 lb bomb, 1 150 USG drop tank • 6 5” HVAR, 2 11.75” Tiny Tim rockets • 6 5” HVAR, 1 Mk13 torpedo, 2 100 USG drop tank Remarks: In Svc: Apr 44 • The universal 150 USG drop tank was useable on any US Navy aircraft from July 1945 onward. On the Hellcat, however. it caused more drag than the Hellcat 150 USG tank. The universal tank’s actual fuel capacity is 410 kg, but for game purposes this is reduced to denote the extra drag from its poor installation on Hellcat. Other aircraft had no drag issues with this drop tank. This is the only 150 USG droptank available starting in Jan 1947. • Mk13 torpedo wa not used operationally due to testing taking longer than anticipated. All large Japanese ships were sunk by July 1945, when this weapon would have entered service. The F6F-5 could not carry bombs while carrying the torpedo. • Due to their short deck length, the F6F-5 could not take off from escort carriers with a full 2270 kg payload. • Note: Performance is based on aircraft with calibrated instruments. Most F6F Hellcat’s instruments understate the maximum speed. These erroneous speeds are still reported in most books. • Very rarely carried bombs of sizes other than 1000 lb. • Many, but not all, F6F-5N aircraft were fitted with 4 0.50 Cal M2 mgs and 2 20mm M2 cannon with an Offensive Gun rating of 2.4. • Post-WWII variants include the F6F-5P photo recon with standard gun armament.
  9. Someone have here from Flanker 1.0....
  10. Best video ever (TM), and no "Drama"...
  11. The deadline was posted by Heatblur, no ED... ED dont put deadlines from many years ago. And now other 3rd party has posted "Two weeks TM" to dont hold on the "Drama".
  12. Sure, but that the normal "Release Drama TM"...
  13. The notes on DCS World simulator, coming with the patchs... all modules required a patch, not viceversa. And all modules release, require a patch.
  14. First was "We dont like beta version 15-20 days patch but has unstable and need to wait to Stable to fly". Now "We dont like Stable version but need wait excesive time and has blocking bugs with need delay them"....
  15. ED has confirmed the Mig-17F has a FF module, no a FC-3 module... The 3rd parties has making modules with the more available info, if you dont like them, ok but we dont go to crush a module, or brame to a ED and/or 3rd party with not have making a "expecific version / year". By now, that planned / released version has useful to use on the Vietnam scenery, include if not math with the scenery.
  16. What part of "DCS World specific patch version ahead of actual version, with F-4E enable" has your dont understand?. That is not a MINOR core update.
  17. The patchs has planned by ED, no the 3rd parties (the "deadlines" has none to do here), and as repeat, 3rd parties has none control on a DCS World release, major or minor, only ED.... More with a blocking bug with will affect to the core or / and sofware / hardware / other module can break the simulator (the actual situation). The module releases no only required the integration with the core, require some security archives hardcoded.... and that has no over control of a 3rd party. That is not a magic botton "on and off" to the purchasers, that has enabled by the ED DCS World autentification servers with points to specific path versions. The Youtube versions has no only a "install the F-4E module and fly them, to angry the costumers" .... That has DCS World specific versions, no related with the actual DCS World release version, with have integrated the F-4E (The same version with see on the Wags videos), some develop patch ahead, to develop only. Someone remember with Bignegy, Wags or other members of ED team talking about 4-5 DCS version instaled for Testing / Develop proposes?
  18. AI units has not eye candy, that comming with the same weapons of the modules. That is not a cake slide.
  19. Aernes F-104G has a 65-66 versión aircraft, no a post Vietnam aircraft. HB has planned a early A versión 74-75, capable to use them on late Vietnam war. A-6E we dont know the exact sensors and equipment yet. Meanwhile the actual F-4E has post Vietnam, HB can make a Vietnam version. Red Start Simulations has confirm Mig17F has a Full Fidelity module. And remember, we have some FF modules, outside FC-3 on DCS World. Enviado desde mi CPH2197 mediante Tapatalk
  20. All 3rd party modules require a DCS World release patch version, under ED control. 3rd parties has none control over a module release and need send the module data content to ED to integrate them on the release version / updates on any new patch. Remember the last newsletter: Remember the module manager on Standalone version has under ED servers, and that require the same version to add and update the modules under a specific path (that is not MSFS). DCS Active branches... with integrated ED/3rd Party modules. That patch has none exclusive of the HB F-4E, surely has more content from ED (AH-64 new funtionality and other ED modules), bugfix, etc, and others 3rd Parties content as the Massun92´s Asset Pack - Official, and other 3rd party updates, bugfixes and campaigns.
  21. Marianas WW2 / F4U + PTO assets / F6F + new units to Assets pack has none talk about release yet. I think on late Summer / Early Autum. By now, we dont have any video from cockpits by Wags...
  22. Specific DCS Develop versions, no a real release version with a temporal key, only available to review / youtube video making / adversiting. Many of that "F-4E modules" will be wipe out the "module" with the release version path has enable and DCS update to the necesery version, requiring purchase a new module code to use them.
