  1. It is simply not proper at this point in the disagreement to start airing dirty laundry. It would not help anyone or anything. If at some point it makes sense to share something we will. Until all this is finalized, we cannot share what will happen and how it will happen.
  2. Protection of the IP has a large impact on DCS customers for sure, although it's not always abundantly clear, especially with the cloak of legal involvement. I cannot go into what it means and why you should care because of it other than it's important to resolve this and move forward. In very simple terms though, maintaining the integrity of an IP maintains the value of what you purchased. As for going back to work as nothing happened, it's simply not possible, nor is it possible to day 1 of the resolution have every customer feel secure as they did the day before this all happened. It will take hard work on everyone's part, ED and RB included to restore customer confidence and confidence in each other. I hope everyone will be working towards regaining that trust on day 1 though.
  3. There is no way to know right now, once the map is completely done it is something we can look at, but it's not planned right now, the focus remains on the planned areas.
  4. Ok, so thats a little clearer, so no fix was listed in the changelog so then probably no fix was merged yet. Please wait until its noted in the changelog. Thanks all.
  5. Sorry all there was some confusion on this one and its only available for the F/A-18C right now, coming soon for the F-16 and more after. Thanks!
  6. Please share a new track. Thanks.
  7. Reported, thanks!
  8. Hey guys, I will discuss this with the team but understand that naming a location after an FOB could have its own baggage. Not only do we want to be respectful to the people that served there but there are people that lived there then and now.
  9. From the Check SIx Discord: Dear DCS Community, It is with a heavy heart that we at Check Six Simulations regret to inform you that we have made the extremely difficult decision to cease development of all DCS products effective immediately and close down the business. This is a result of solely internal matters within Check Six. We would like to take the chance to thank the community and ED, for all the ongoing support and feedback throughout our development. We wish the very best for the DCS community moving forward, onwards and upwards. Thank you Check Six Management
  10. Legal things do not work like this, we cannot give any estimated times right now of if or when this will be resolved.
  11. It is something we plan on doing at some point, plenty of reports on it internally, but it just hasn't happened yet. I will make sure it's noted that this is a very desired feature. Thanks!
  12. FYI, this was reported a while ago, just not addressed internally, yet. Thanks.
  13. I just tried it, and I am seeing no issue, I will say when I had my old Thrustmaster throttle I had issues like this that I had to use curves to 'tame', but I am using WinWing and it moves as well as the TGP and both are very 'tame' I am sure I could make it even better with curves if I was inclined to but I see no need to right now. The reasons we give options for things like curves, etc is because different set ups can experience different things, and we cant offer a one size fits all solution on everything.
  14. I just read the 'story' on reddit, it looks to me like someone was in such a hurry to post something they thought was exciting and would get views that they didn't read far enough to see it was a mistake. Nothing has changed, we all just need to try and be patient waiting for a resolution and filter out the white noise.
  15. On reddit... that is all I need to know. Nothing has changed.
  16. Yup, and still on the 'want to do' list I think it's just waiting for some developer free time.
  17. No need to single anyone out, many people have continued to keep this thread going for good or bad. Its ok to come here and vent, but attacking each other will not fix it faster. I am sure they are both well aware of all customers' feelings on this, I can speak personally that Nick Grey does. I am sure both equally want to get this settled and back to as normal business as is possible as soon as possible.
  18. Everyone needs to turn it down a couple of notches, please.
  19. Much of what you described seemed to be mission design, but its hard to say with little to no details, although I know this isn't a bug report thread. Also things in real life are not perfect, and things do not go as planned, most mission makers are making missions that result in furballs or closer action. You describing systems working and not working could have been triggers of some form or another, or any number of things. AI is always being improved but then it will always be AI at the end of the day, it will always do things unexpected or fly a maneuver better than a human, or worse. As we are always up against the performance barrier you need to have a little give and take. Same with most modern missiles, they are only as good as in the info we have, and many systems are light on available info, not to mention it is a game, so people quickly figure out how to game the game. There is a lot more to these things than an Airbus flying from point A to point B.
  20. Not sure how that has any relation here, but we have plenty of documentation on the Spitfire. So please don't get silly with these comments. I have not heard anything about the M or L right now.
  21. Yeah its not clear, I think we can make a reasonable guess, but would be nice to see it detailed.
  22. Well, honestly it's just time that we need for a dev to get back to it. My only concern is the proper procedures for jettison, as there is no specific button or switch, but I have given them a couple of ideas that should work, but right now its just waiting on someone to be able to spend some time on it.
  23. Do you mean the screenshots above?
  24. Steam users can install the standalone and use the trials as well if they like. But at the end of the day trials are not to really learn a module. It's just a brief look to see if it's something you would like to buy and learn and enjoy.
