  1. Works well, just a little heavy.
  2. Absolutely not. What is it with this community and suggesting more ways to charge other people?
  3. You might try getting some teflon blocks machined. I doubt TM sells them as spares, but there's no harm in asking them.
  4. The way I understand it, most modern 3D games have positional audio based on the audio source in 3D space. Literally games have sound emitters the same way they have light sources, an invisible point in space from where the emissions come from, the game then tells the audio hardware and the hardware outputs accordingly. In theory you can have a 360 speaker setup and as long as your computer can handle that many channels, you could have pinpoint audio accuracy. At least that's how I understand it, I could be wrong.
  5. I forgot the nut at the very top on the first pause. Had to cut a slot from the inside to get the nut in.
  6. @sagil: Do you have a list of all the electrical components you used?
  7. I've printed it myself, if your buddy has a print bed 20x20cm or larger, he should have no problems. Just make sure he learns how to use the pause at height script when printing the left hand side of the grip; he'll also need 5 or 6 M3 nuts (you have to insert them mid print in several places at several heights).
  8. I bought them and printed them already. Quite clever how he designed them (had to learn the "pause at height" script in cura), although a BOM and assembly instructions would be very helpfull. I need to model a mounting adapter for the warthog though.
  9. Yeah I had exactly the same problem when I got mine ages ago. I just assumed that whoever assembled it in the factory didn't get the torque right.
  10. Looking great, I only wish there was a way to use it with virpil's desk mount. I don't fly with my throttle on the desk.
  11. STL?
  12. Err, yes, the detents are separate.
  13. So to clarify, this bug only affects us if our document folder is on the C drive?
  14. I created several extra bindings suitable to the warthog here. Includes master arm, hook, landing gear and external light switch.
  15. I've already made my own, although it should be noted that it assumes the ministick is not soldered to the board, so you may have to do some extra wiring depending on what you've got. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2900369
  16. Yes please, my printer is ready.
  17. Very very cool, I look forward to seeing how this develops. I have my own 3D printer and after solving the last headache (turns out the filament was snagging on the run out sensor), I'm looking forward to printing many more flight sim components (I've currently made MFD mounts and a body for deltaalphalima's replacement slew mod, also a custom trackIR mount after the original broke). https://i.imgur.com/8BHB7wu.jpg Question: do the switches themselves determine what function they have in the sim (like DCSBIOS panels do) or are they just generic?
  18. Any chance of an android version?
  19. No one has the rights to make the module until ED gives them a license. Even HB could still have the rug pulled out from under them. Until ED signs on the dotted line, there's no guarantee HB will even deliver a flyable A-6 module at all.
  20. Are we really going have to wait a week and a half for this to be fixed?
  21. Use Skatezilla's update utility.
  22. Reporting it here too. Me and another guy have been having crashes trying to edit missions. From my own experience, I tried to open a user made mission to find the frequencies in use; the first thing that happened was that DCS asked me to save a new load out used by the mission, it then crashed a short while later. It happened a second time on another user made mission, again after asking me to save a loadout. The third time I was creating my own mission, I could happily place units (mostly urals), but when I went to change the loadout of my aircraft (F18C), the game crashed. I then played an instant action mission instead and had some odd behaviour trying to change from auto to CCIP (it wouldn't) and even one case where cycling the pitot switch from auto to on put me in an AA mode (AACQ, I wasn't able to reproduce the bug after though), but the game didn't crash. From the other guy, he's reporting that it crashes every time he tries to change his A-10 loadout in the editor.
  23. I prefer to use Skatezilla's DCS updater utility and check manually.
  24. Sounds like you've got a corrupt default.lua file somewhere; I encountered this while experimenting with mod installation and custom joystick binds. The fault I experienced was caused by the file being corrupt (likely a comma is missed somewhere) which interferes with DCS reading it correctly. First go to your save games folder and see if this folder is there: \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\joystick If it is, delete the default.lua file in there and try again; this is in case you've accidentally installed a mod that's causing a conflict. If that doesn't fix it, go to \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\joystick and delete the default.lua file (this is in case your original file is corrupt). You'll then need to repair your installation. Alternatively, I've posted a modified default.lua file with extra controls for warthog users here that I've confirmed works.
  25. Looking great, but can you do everyone a favour and reduce the size of the photos next time? Your images are HUGE. Not everyone is on superfast unlimited internet.
