  1. So it is held then. Thank you for the information.
  2. No problem. If anything needs changing, let me know.
  3. So the bypass switch is working the way it should, but the launch bar switch is not?
  4. As the title says. The reason I ask is I'm trying to create custom binds for my warthog throttle switches. They seem to work when the aircraft is powered down but when powered up, flipping the physical switch only seems to toggle it in game rather than following the position of the actual switch.
  5. Extract the contents directly into your install location and overwrite when asked. It adds both the hook and master arm as 2 position switches, plus landing gear and external lights 2 position switches. They should appear under the Special For Joystick category (the include "2Pswitch" in the name). I wrote them so that they would match the physical positions of the switches on my warthog throttle. new binds.zip
  6. According to nineline, it's up to razbam to fix the problem razbam introduced. And given razbam's snail pace on the harrier it wouldn't be reasonable to postpone other release version updates for the sake of waiting for a fix to an avoidable problem.
  7. I'm hoping the 2070 is at least somewhat affordable.
  8. Is that attitude necessary? Shapeways allows you to upload files yourself without requiring a vendor to do it for you. Unless you are willing to pay $400 mark up price for the part, in which case I and I'm sure many others would be more than happy to upload it for you. :P
  9. That looks like an awkward place for the throttle. You didn't want to mount it at thigh height?
  10. Does the cat assist with take offs?
  11. $500 and only pincer return in the age of cams. No thanks, gorgeous looking pedals and I love the pendular idea, but too much for a sub standard design.
  12. Yes, just recently infact (except I dropped it with and extension on). I contacted TM and they said that they don't offer the tail piece as a spare part and that I'd have to order a new grip. Luckily debolestis has modeled a pretty extensive set of replacement tail option on shapeways, so I ordered a new one in nylon (cost about £12) and it fits pretty well.
  13. I don't understand. The only red controls on the WH throttle are the china hat and the autopilot button, neither of which function as axis.
  14. It's most likely a broken connection. Work out which button in the hat is not working and check for any loose connection and resolder as needed.
  15. That's like saying climb Everest instead of K2, it's only a bit more. That's an assumption you are making.
  16. To be honest this is really just a good argument for ED to implement a mouse/hat enabled radial wheel menu system. They could use it for radios and perhaps pilot animations and I'm sure 3rd parties and modders could find other uses for it. Let content creators have custom menus that can be mapped to a button or key.
  17. Very cool idea.
  18. I hate this part about it. It would have been very easy to convert this to a cam design. Just two roller bearing followers tensioned together with a spring, resting against a profile on the arm.
  19. MMMMMmmmmmnnnnnnnnn............... I love the pedals, but I don't like the spring mechanism. At $500 I really expect a good cam system.
  20. First thing I'm going to do: Carrier take off, Drop a bomb with auto bomb mode, Shoot down a plane with a sparrow, Attempt a carrier landing. I'm always getting stuck in a rut learning new planes by doing the basics first and taking ages to get to the fun stuff. There's always going to be a landing at the end of every flight, one way or another, why postpone everything that can be done before then?
  21. Is it metal or plastic?
  22. Yep, disappointed. A good opportunity to cater to every audience; instead they choose to not just cater to one, but to exclude another. No buy. With that said............ Why, you dont like the F/A-18C? I think the goal is to expand the entry level part of the sim. Many people have expressed concerns about the F-16 or other future aircraft being done as FC3 versions, this should make some happy, they will reserve some aircraft as full fidelity and perhaps offer them as a lower fidelity for newbies or people that dont want the full fidelity experience. You dont own or plan to buy FC3.... so this isnt for you. Makes sense you dont get it. Why is that, are you mad about the F-4, Hind, Hornet, Viper, and all the other full fidelity stuff coming out? You only speak for you, you dont speak for the entire DCS World userbase. Or you guys need to reeling your excitement based on a short sentence. No offence guys, but you ramped this up yourselves. ED never promised the moon, so when you dont get the moon, it's not all ED's fault. I am posting now to quell the expectations. Focus on what is coming, and what you know is coming, focusing on what you can dream up will just disappoint you. FC product line is a gateway product, and popular. You guys are already in the gate, for a lot of you, its not intended for you, the Hornet, that Hind, the F-4, the Viper, etc... those are intended for you. Some great examples of bad PR here. Don't intentionally misrepresent arguments and don't chastise your customers. I could have walked away from this thread just disappointed, now I'm left with a bad impression.
  23. Yep, imgur. Just put .jpg (or whatever extension you are using) after the link they give you.
  24. You want to ship it to the UK and then have it shipped back for a part that just plugs in and is calibrated with an app on your PC? If it's the force sensitive one you're after you don't even need to take the handle off the throttle to assemble it; it's literally 3 large and one small screw that need to be removed and you can push the stock slew out from behind.
