Seems in this instance turning up the maximum frame to "400" was the difference in this test. If it is true why hasn't ED done this by default? Coffee Boy ??? :) (always look to U for techy type answers).

The only thing that is "Beta" is "DCS World". The "A10c" has been around for a long time now. So it is stable and has had the least updates or patches as they are for the most part ironed out already. If U want stability go for the A10c it has the best and longest track record for DCS. Remember DCS Worlds sandbox model is the reason for the beta tag. not the modules themself.

When this happens I just have to click on another weapon and back to Mav's and they work. U are talking about the Beta ver. right?

@Zilch There has been a "Start Up Trainer" available for a long time that costs like 99c. It's been available for a long time now. So it has been done Zilch. I would give it a go. even if U have to start it as a small business, it should be worth it. I would pay a few bucks to a Valid and Proven mission creator.

That is likely, also a poorly seated card can have that same effect.

Could it be a "Settings" thing? where setting all to high set things unseen and unclickable to a greater view configuration? Are all of U set to high? Remember how we would have to set all to high and then adjust down if needed?

I started downloading the next time I opened Steam, Might be different now I guess but U would think it is the same as no need to change that part of their User Experience.

MSVCR110.dll That has been attributed to an error in the DX and/or the VCREDIST_x64. Both can be found in the C:\Program Files \ Eagle Dynamics \ DCS World OpenBeta\ dstr Folder, were U can reinstall them. Happens due to crashes for some reason.

I am absolutely loving EDs ability to roll out updates like MS itself. Nice Job Guys. Bugs are few and far between, I noticed a big difference in FPS. no stuttering with this roll out. Have others notice less lag also?

It is sad to think how hard ED worked to get us here, only to be bad mouthed by some new guy who knows nothing of what it took to get us here. Being a PC. Technician I miss the days when we needed a lot of technical know how just to run the Sim. 1.1.0.9 Brought my Rig to it's knees on initial release. I think it was when if loading the Sim U didn't have the resolution of the desk top match the Sims. resolution it would just crash the systems. I am for one very happy with the work that ED has put forth. A small group of guys with guts to take on the Big Box Corporate Juggernauts, in a market that is at best "Risky". Simmers aren't as prevalent as the First Person Shooter Genre. That alone would give pause to anyone wanting to take this idea on. To label a person "Fan Boy" for Respecting this group of people, is ignorant (e.g. to ignore). In this one, ignoring the challenge of bring to fruition a software program that emulates flying a combat jet. No easy task by any measure. Consider those who have gone before and where they are now and it will not take long to realize the well thought out /planned methodology of bringing this to market in a successful way. So bash if U must, ye of little knowledge. Ponder not those who smile and walk away. Contemplation of such may result in migraines.

I don't see anything wrong myself. Does it look different than before? The more I look at the images the more I like what I see. Especially the first image, the smoke trail is nice. I know the plume from the exhaust is incorrect but it is one of the things in the "To do list" if I remember correctly. Nice Rig. well put together for DCS even if it is older, it was put together with DCS in mind or accidently so. Try some of the User Created Mods. I have the Sky and Cloud update created by...........Ummmm. Dag Burn it.....Can't remember the ED Tester/Moderator who created it at the moment. .........Anyone...........anyone...........Bheuler? :)

With all those mods. if U don't have JSGME u should get it.

Some times signing into multi-player gets it gets u there. It adds the web info needed to add ur account and purchases.

U would think the only Difference would be whether the gear was made for landing on aircraft carriers or not. Only logical reason for difference I can think of.

That is definitely a new one to me. Odd how they are spread like that but at an angle. No heat issues are there? Shadows and Trees Visibilities also set to High? Are U using Nvidias DSR? Is the GPU overclocked at all? I can't imagine rolling the GPU driver back would matter, the method used to update is based on gaming enhancements and not on hardware specific. Rolling back to a hardware specific driver might be worth the effort.

I have all set to High. trees and shadows also. with 16x TSAA 8x Anisotropic 4x Antialiasing 2x supersampling with 1024 every frame in MFCDs on an I7 920. with an Nvidia 970 and no stuttering on an HDD. I do have an SSD but didn't put the Beta on it.

This is now part of the latest update to DCS World Beta. Heck of an update from ED this time out.

Absolutely Positively a Wonderful Job!!!!!! I am Loving DCS right now. The limited number of bugs is allowing the team to focus on other matters now. 3D models updated is a great sign of the times for ED. Not long ago it seemed to be bug fixing was so needed 3D and such took a back seat. I do kind of miss the assistance I was giving in fixing PC crashes and hardware errors in ED. Products. Those days seem to be gone now. A view to the positive future of their products now. Way to go ED. Kudos to all involved in this Great Sim.

the video card isn't overclocked is it? no settings in the BIOS have been altered? I miss read the "Available Ram" in the txt file, my eyes focused on the 2224mb for some reason. Note how Bit chimed in with more info. without insult. This is a great place to learn about PCs and Hardware issues. Way to go Bit.
