This is good info. for sure for some. Those updates are typically handled by the mother board manufacturers in a BIOS update available on their webpages if anyone wants an update specific to their motherboards.

After updating the software you mention above, You may also need to restart the PC. Did you restart after updating them?

Isn't 30 FPS to slow? Most gaming sites recommend 60 why only 30 in Vsync. It is a 4K thing?

I remember that Mustang. It does work. Guys do you remember the issue long ago were the sim. would crash if the monitor and the sim. were set to different resolutions? Just wondering if that is a factor here. hlfritz try setting window GUI to the same resolution as the Sim. It was an issue a long time ago that reared its ugly head several times if memory serves .

Those saying use "Realistic" mode and nothing else are ignoring the fact that you will die in the same spot 12 times before you realize all you need to do is duck. No one would ask you to go up against the very best pro basketball player or golf pro with out first learning to "Fly". You can die and restart the Sim. 12 times in a row or you can use game mode to see how you are doing and what you need to do, say like to avoid a missile coming at you. There is a difference between being patient and being,,,,,,,,,,well you fill in the word.

Additionally how much GPU Memory does your Video card have? that ver. of laptop has upgradable memory all the way up to 32Gigs. The Video card has 1Gig and a 2Gig ver.
