That 10sec. you talk about is the program running its calibration. Not the software running with 8 cores. No Games are running 8 cores yet. Hopefully soon though.

A better understanding of Program Language is needed here. Especially "Program Executions". No DX9 Program should run any "Modern" CPU at 100% Constant. Chasing your tail. Remove any background programs, turn off your virus software. Run SSD clean up program and it also helps to restart your PC. mostly when you have programs downloading overnight.

Delete Saved Game Folder.

Remove the overclock on the GPU.

That has been tried for yrs. now. In the words of Hawk, It Aint hapnen! Even tried a sign up sheet in protest of their lack of DCS profile. They didn't care. Besides we community members tend to discuss that issue to the point of having the settings needed to run as smoothly as it can. Search the forum there are people deep in conversation about it as we speak.

Unable to start correctly (0x000007b) Isn't that the Redistributed Error guys? if memory serves. reinstall the redistributed files from Microsoft web site. Also make sure you accept the install of DX9 when offered during install it is needed even though you have DX11. I believe this is still relevant in the new ver. Please let me know if it isn't anymore, only the programmers will know this.

That sounds like another program running in the back ground to me. I had Logitech checking for updates while running the Sim. a few times till I remembered to turn it off. Also take a look at the Full Screen Fixes mentioned here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147790&page=5

Try setting the GPU at a normal clock speed. Over clocking has had issue with the software in earlier releases. Worth a check in this one.

Interesting point. The power down should only happen if the device isn't used after a certain amount of time. This being the intention and possibly not the result of the setting, so it is worth a check.

Typically in this scenario it would be the USB device causing issues. What are you using USB wise? Is there an update for the Motherboard from the Manufacturer of your Laptop? Remember that when the Sim. starts it is in borderless as apposed to full screen make sure you are in full screen.

I don't understand your Q. really. You know it's the joystick. So updating that is the key. What are you asking?

Sound and graphics are controlled by (in Part) the redistributed files that come with the Sim. try reinstalling them.

That used to happen in the older ver. of DCS. It was due to the Sim not Installing the Redistributed files, causing users to have to reinstall them. Some had better success deleting the files and then reinstalling.

What are your system specs? From the looks of it you have only 4 gigs of ram? That's hardly enough to run Winxx let alone any software.

Have tried you deleting the saved game folder? The only "Saved Game" is from your other ver. of DCS.

That 480 is a bit long in the tooth. can u try using another GPU from a friend or someone?

Do you have a "Dual Bios" switch on that GPU? If so switch it and see.

Seems like you should be able to drag and drop the file from your other install? That is a question. I did it when downloading the Open Beta just to see if it would be faster or cause issues. Back then it didn't.

That would be absolutely awesome!!!! Making the "Eye Candy" even more appealing is something I would look forward to for sure.

I was looking and immediately thought the "Eye Candy" is as good as GTA V, My son was playing just a few minutes before I looked at the images.
