  1. I think one can achieve the poster's objective using the methods in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226
  2. AFAIK F/A-18C TGP does not yet slave to WP in DCS. Best you can do is make TGP SOI, then move TGP LOS symbol on SA page to the WP.
  3. For my Reverb I upgraded from GTX-1070 to RTX 2070 Super. Seems to run DCS fine and I am happy with my choice.
  4. More testing. Completed DCS Repair and no mods installed. New mission, latest OB, same behavior. Track attached. Habu PDI 2.trk
  5. Tested this issue with new SP cold start mission and got same results. Stuck in PDI. Will try repair.
  6. This keeps happening. Track attached. No amount of button pushing I tried will get me to PRF at OSB 1. Win 10 1909, latest OB, in VR MP on Hoggit Georgia At War server. Caucasus map spawning on Stennis in F/A-18C. Finally got a track small enough to upload. Georgia At War v3.0.24_morning-20200122-102803.rar
  7. Yeah, Point Control and FSSB R3 are both very worthwhile add-ons.
  8. Latest OB, Caucasus map in MP on Hoggit GAW server. No track due to file size (90 MB). I can up load TRK if file size can be overcome. With only AIM-9x, AIM 120C, AGM-154 loaded, AA radar is stuck in PDI mode at OSB 1. Nothing I tried allowed switching to PRF. Turned radar power on/off, cycling weapons, pushing every button on the DDI. Radar will then not lock a target. Have observed this on several occasions.
  9. I believe the F/A-18C aircraft has no way to determine which aircraft the SAM launcher is tracking, so the warning you hear is that the SAM is emitting a lock radar freq and you better watch out. Refer to the EW display to determine the relative bearing of the radar signal. Then in daylight fair weather you can usually see a launched missile exhaust trail and determine whether or not it is tracking you.
  10. I have used both JSGME and OvGME. IMO OvGME has an advantage in that some mods MUST be installed in the main DCS folder instead of SAVED GAMES. With OvGME one can create a mod configuration for each of the 2 mod install methods.
  11. But just think of the great learning experience you have had!
  12. If you use a voice recognition program like Voice Attack, you can create a voice command, RE-CENTER, for example.
  13. Now I know. Love the DV voice. Reminds me of Deep Throat.
  14. Maybe a stupid question, but what the heck is mother's air boss really saying after inbound check-in? Sounds like "Marky-a momps..."
  15. What terrible luck! Sorry for your loss.
  16. My experience is indeed in MP, but with cold start. I have found that cycling AA weapons reverts OSB 1 to PRF. Will test further and report bug if appropriate. Appreciate advice.
  17. Situation occurred with only AIM-9X and AIM-120C loaded. Reportable bug?
  18. A-A radar OSB 1 controls the Pulse Repetition Frequency, but occasionally I find the letters PDI at OSB1, for some reason I have not been able to determine. In that case neither OSB 1 nor manipulating the other radar functions permit changing the PDI indication and I believe the radar designation mechanism becomes non-functional. Can anyone shed light on what I am experiencing?
  19. Cluster bombs have no Height of Function and unsure if skeets and general bomb fuzing are properly modeled. Nothing on ECM yet. Several Link 16 features absent. Completing all this over next 12 months presents quite a challenge. Oh, yeah, no mention of cloaking feature.
  20. With Reverb I can read the smallest text (JDAM PP target coordinates) on F/A-18C MDI.
  21. I have been using RealSimulator FSSB R2 retrofit in my Cougar stick for 10 years and have been extremely satisfied. Regarding your arm fatigue, my "flying" chair is a common office chair with the left arm rest removed. My cougar is mounted as a side stick and my right arm rests comfortably on the single arm rest.
  22. If you state your specific problems, you might get some help. Lots of folks on these forums are eager to assist.
  23. You gotta wonder why nobody at DCS offered this suggestion.
  24. Completely sympathize with your frustrations. I consider my Moose coding skills as intermediate level and find that altho a new Moose.lua is published very week or so, the new versions mostly introduce new classes and fix bugs. Seldom break something that is working. In my experience it took a few dozen hours of working with Moose to finally grasp the concepts and understand how to use the docs and sample scripts.
