That seems about right to me. But its not the absolute visibility thats the main issue. Its the relative visibility depending on the resolution thats my main gripe.

There is both a trail and a 'burn time' intensity visible in that video.

Can it be passed on that we need a consistent spotting system (whether easier or harder) that does not depend on monitor resolution? Example: If I run 4K resolution (native) spotting is quite difficult at long ranges. If I downscale to 1440p spotting at long ranges becomes much easier - big dots If I downscale to 1080p I can see F5s from 50km. It cant be right that the main determinant of visual range is resolution. There is another odd curiosity whereby zooming out at range makes the dots bigger and zooming in makes them smaller. Eh? Thank you.

Im interested in the BFGD too although I think VR will supercede it. Im sure the price will be epic.

Update After trying all the above suggestions to no avail I was able to test with another PSU. Still no good. I was pretty convinced it was the motherboard and my mechanical hard drive then dying was the last straw. Ive just finished a new build: 8600k @ 5.3ghz. Delidded. H115i cooler Gskill 16gb ram @ 3200C14 Aorus 1080ti 960 EVO SSD Corsair carbide 740 case. My SB system served me very well. I was a little sad to see it go after so many years. I was hoping to go AMD this time round but unfortunately I couldnt wait without a functional PC any longer. I also had my doubts about AMD making up the clockspeed and IPC difference. For everything else Ryzen/Ryzen+ is a beast. But for DCS you still need raw clocks and IPC, especially for VR.

I hope thats the case! Wags has been kinda quiet since the initial post. Its a great opportunity to promote DCS at CES as well.

Yes. I see alot of flak directed towards these guys before they're even customers! Its totally unhelpful.

I think with movies like these you need to take your flight sim geek hat off. Just enjoy it for what it is. An attempt at representing what dunkirk was like without the hollywood A-list and gloss which would have detracted further from the core message. Not in my list of top movies, but stlll enjoyable. I dont regret the time or money spent streaming it.
