  1. Thanks for the report. Honestly, I have no idea why it happens to some people (for majority it works fine). Do you have any unofficial mods installed (aircraft, VAICOMM, voice attack etc.)? Also, try to run a repair. I had a few reports like that but majority of players didn't encounter this bug and I cannot reproduce it on my end (works fine every time). Let's start troubleshooting with mods, as these may have huge impact on DLC campaigns. Let me know. EDIT: @Dsaniel I just saw that I updated this mission already but it didn't make it for the last patch. I added additional safeguards and as of next patch it should be working fine.

  3. The good news @bojote is that we have M2 and M3 internally fixed and working for next update (should be next week, but who knows). I just hope it doesn't break them again.
  4. I confirm that both should be fixed for the next patch unless it introduces some new bugs. That is becoming a vicious circle with M02 and M03: I fix it, and the patch releasing the fix introduces a new bug, so I have to fix it again with the team. Happened 3 times already...
  5. I checked and he lands normally on my end. Did some tweaks and waiting for confirmation if it helped.
  6. Hey @Chrispazz. I will check if the code for the bombs is set correctly, the new fuzes were added long after the campaign was released and since you cannot change them from the pit anymore, this may be a problem. A polite request for the future though - if you can add these things as separate threads in the bugs section it make it much easier for me to address / follow the issues. Will report back!
  7. Yup, but it's a matter of preference. I think it is more realistic (and cooler) to be able to ask for the coordinates to be repeated so you can note them down. And Weasels over Syria is a great campaign!
  8. Cool. I've built in some additional safeguards for the next patch, hope they solve the issue once and for all. Waiting for report from people testing it. Can you create a separate thread for M6? I'll note it down and check, but I haven't touched anything in the mission and it worked well before, so possibly just a glitch. EDIT: @Gilligan just checked the mission and the script. Laser is firing and can be detected, all looks good on my end, must have been a user error.

  12. What we can and probably will do is changing the weather to CASE I to make sure things work until this is fixed by ED.
  13. @bojote I am very sorry you feel like this and yes, it looks like the background AI doing tricks, likely due to upcoming changes with the taxi directors.. lately three successive patches broke this mission three times and we spent hours trying to make it work again and I think it should be working fine as of next patch (fingers crossed nothing else gets broken by it). I understand your frustration and trust me, mine is even bigger when things that used to work flawlessly suddenly stop with every other patch... but that's part of DCS life cycle, hopefully we'll get these things sorted out shortly.

  15. I'm checking this now. As for tanker's speed - may be something with DCS, it has hard-coded .65M. As for the turbulence, the mission does not enforce this option, so it uses whatever players have checked and the weather turbulence is set to 0, so this is definitely not on my side. I'll see if I can fix any of this myself...
  16. I'm working on it, though on my end he lands normally. This may be something that was bugged and then internally fixed (I am using a testing branch). We're trying to figure this out and if it is OK, the update should be out soon.
  17. I'll try to build in a safeguard that will make the mission progress even if one of the targets is destroyed. This must be linked to the damage model somehow, and it happens to some people while things work OK for others. Sorry for the trouble guys.

  19. This is something I have zero control over.. the mission is set up exactly as all the others, so not sure what is going on there but I suspect something DCS-ish.

  21. The AI is wonky, what can I say... I prefer bugs that everyone can replicate, but most of the ones I get only happen to some people...glad you went on!
  22. @Shack thanks for these! Quick answers: Ad 1: can do, like for M01 Ad 2: no idea, but for the moment the answer is no, and most likely will remain as such even when DC is out... Ad 3: I can't, as currently the squelch sound is linked to the time of the subtitle on the screen... so it really sounds weird. But that is why you have option to ask for the stuff to be repeated as many times as you want Ad 4: Dynamic weather does not use new cloud system and is extremely difficult to master, so it is out of question I think. Ad 5: sure, oable Ad 6: not really realistic in this setting, we were recreating real life events - and there was only one strike against Syrian airfield, which is already in the campaign. Cheers! BD
  23. Datalink is not very dependable. Everything is set up as it should be in Mission Editor, but in the pit you don't always see what you'd think you should - not sure why. So probably it is not realistic, but it is also rather more on the DCS side of things..
  24. Thanks! I'll have both M14 and 15 fixed, slowly working our way through them. And also working on final versions for the Arctic Thunder, so it shouldn't be long now!
  25. I'd like to fix them all, but I will likely have to wait until the taxi directors are out and things are stable for the super carrier... I have a feeling they keep tinkering with the taxi logic with the taxi directors in mind, which keeps breaking missions creating a vicious circle where I spend hours fixing stuff that used to work only for it to be borked with the next update. I just hope with the yellow shirts thing will finally be more normal.
