  1. I found a new DCS bug where if random radio transmissions are linked to AI that is not silenced, he will continue to spam his AI "on station" calls over the custom ones. So silencing them for the entire campaign now.
  2. This campaign is not for the absolute beginners, even though it is a training one. if you're a noob, it will most likely require some repetitions, but it will make you a much better virtual aviator.
  3. I didn't touch anything with the mission and the comms used to always work fine there. I'll have a look.
  4. You can always run a shorter version of the missions, starting before you have to go inland. Use F10 radio menu option at the beginning.
  5. I could spawn the player later but the whole idea is to watch others take off and listen to their chatter. The issue with F14 was reported long time ago and acknowledged by ED, I'll check if there is a fix from their side. Also issues on the deck most often are created by the Tomcats. Maybe they are too big for the carriers?
  6. The problem is that sometimes I am unable to replicate things, as 3rd party mods, additional software (like Voice Attack) etc. all seem to affect the missions in an unpredictable way. Didn't have a chance yet to check this particular mission, but I will soon!
  7. There appear to be inconsistencies between the ATFLIR and the F10 map. I submitted this as a bug and wait for it to be fixed, because I don't want to update several missions just to do that again once the bug is squashed.. hope you guys understand.
  8. Hey, I think I replied in different place as well. Let me know if you use any 3rd party mods (especially Voice Attack). Also, try to run a full repair, it helped some people with similar issues. I tried it and cannot reproduce this, it works fine on my end...

I'll have another look, but yeah - the AI quirks are not on me, this mission used to work OK for a long time and I didn't touch it but there is no point in playing the blaming game either, I'll see if I can fix it. These things with AI and campaigns happened, happen and will continue to happen and we just have to live with it

  11. One thing that Raven One taught me is to never again make such complex campaigns. Ceberus North which you mentioned is a very good piece of work which I highly recommend but uses nowhere near the amount of triggers used in R1 and R1:DF, which aim to replicate real life ops as closely as possible and where I had to use a lot of tricks to make the AI do what I wanted her to do to be able to replicate these operations... For all future campaigns I am going to keep them more maneagable - not at the expense of realism, but grandiose (so without 20 aircraft taking off from the carrier for Alpha Strike and then mission depending for all of the flights to perform their tasks to work). Gamblers for the F-16 will be a good example of this, where there will be full realism, it will give player more options (will be less linear) but also less prone to bugs. So will be the Raven One: Combat Wingman, a training campaign in the Raven One universe. Having said all that, @bushido I completely understand your disappointment. You pay for a product and you expect it to work properly. I'm doing my best to make it happen, but am dependent on so many moving parts it is sometimes difficult. Looking at the forums, the Raven One: Dominant Fury should be working fine right now, with most of the bugs squashed (barring one or two with AI Tomcats that are still on ED / HB).

  14. I am on M16 and have a long list of things I fixed so far, including the comms with ATC, JTAC etc. As @Odessasays, it should be out with the next OB patch.
  15. It will all be fixed hopefully with next update, I am running a full overhaul of the campaign (on M16 now), fixing a lot of comms bugs and other smaller problems.
  16. Are you using voice attack or 3rd party mods? I noticed that these can mess up the stop follow flag for AI - because I cannot reproduce it and many people finished the campaign without such issues. Also try to run a full repair, this seems to have helped with similar problems before. Let me know how it goes.

  19. Hm, it should not mess the FM radio freq and it didn't in my tests, but if anyone notices anything like this let me know, I'll try to deal with it.
  20. Thanks for your kind words. Real life issues are slowing us down considerably, just as they did with part 1, but we're working on it!
  21. Great. I'll be proposing that as a possible way of fixing issues for people experiencing bugs I am not able to reproduce. DCS is a very heavy beast code-wise and there can be some weird quirks happening that repair could help with.
  22. I also had two other people test it before the release and they both reported it worked OK.
