  1. Most of the campaign will be land-based as you will start your refresher training flying from Marianas only in the second part will you begin your carrier quals.
  2. Hey @bueno I agree with you, but I have a lot of projects for other modules - I think I've done a lot for the M-2000 and not planning to get back to it anytime soon, sorry!

  4. Yes, you just refuel and he will follow you after. It is a workaround for a DCS bug, but I guess I should add a note in the mission description to avoid surprises - I'll do that.
  5. Thanks guys! We're working on the radio issues and I also have a very dedicated beta-tester who will be going through the campaign and checking your issues / reporting anything he may find. I've moved to DCS as my full - time work now and while I am finishing to set up in Poland, once I do I'll have much more time to make sure each and every mission in my old campaigns work as they should and that I move faster on my future ones!

  7. Hey! Yes, the issues on the boat are known and started happening after last update. I think we'll need to wait for taxi directors and things to be sorted out by ED... I could try to fix this for the next patch, but it is very likely that it will all get broken again with the taxi directors, so I'd rather try to put everything in order when they arrive. I've seen them in action and things work much better on the deck with them - guess current issues are linked to their WiP status.

  10. First of all, thank you for purchasing the Gamblers! While for most of you so far this was a more or less flawless experience (except hiccups in M01, which is already fixed), some are reporting various issues that are impossible to reproduce for me and the testers, and most probably are linked to some things on user's end. @Jakes - who beta tested the campaign and ran each mission probably a dozen times, prepared a short summary of what should be done to minimise potential problems: Make sure to remove any and all mods before flying campaigns. (Check out OVGME, I use it daily and it works well). Also try disabling TacView under special options...can cause issues, usually performance, but that can lead to bugs if your cores are overloaded/too busy and it misses a trigger point due to that. If removing all mods still does not fix the issue, take the following steps: 1)Delete fxo and metashaders folders in you saved games. Can get gummed up with old files. 2) Rename you DCS Saved Games folder, run DCS and let it create a new one. Then just copy the Config folder from the old to the new so you don't lose your bindings at least. Copy the logbook.lua from the old MissionEditor folder into the new so that you can keep your campaign and pilot progress. 3) Do a full deep repair of DCS to clear up any unwanted stuff in your main game folder. Obviously, if problems persist please report them on this forum (but please use a separate thread in Bugs and Problems section) or on my Discord channel.

  13. Just set up the TACAN to the channel that is listed for your flight on the Kneeboard and it should work fine
  14. Thanks guys, it seems to affect some people while for others it works fine. I'll try to build in some additional safeguards to make sure the mission moves forward even if you don't kill everything. Will keep you posted.
  15. I checked and this mission is set exactly in the same way as all the others, in ME all looks fine for the player. I have no idea how to fix this but I remember seeing a video from Bogey Dope where he explains how to set it up properly (I think the Datalink has to be switched on only after the GPS time is on, and GPS time will only work if you taxi a little forward out of the shelter). I might be wrong though.
  16. Hey @SkyWalkers thanks for these! M01: internally fixed, hope to get it into the next hot fix. M10: I didn't write additional lines for the A-10s, something indeed got messed up because normally your wingman should report bingo shortly after last AAA and then you would RTB without waiting for too long. I have this on my list to look into and fix again. M11: there seem to be an issue with bombing task in DCS right now, it is possible that we will have to wait for a fix from ED. Later in the same mission some people reported that AI F-15 flight failed to attack their target for exactly the same reason as B1s for you. I'll see if I can fix this - but it may be up to ED to do that. Glad you are enjoying the campaign! Adding RTB option at any moment and debriefing later sounds like a good idea, but would be a real nightmare from Mission Editor / programming point of view (already the debriefings at the end were a real headache). So I don't think I'll even start to tackle this...

  18. I'll add this to the notes. There are some general issues with the AAR and AI behaviour, hope this gets fixed soon.
  19. OK. That is something new, will try to troubleshoot this. I think there is a bug with attack heading that is being investigated by ED. Maybe I'll find a way to fix this though.

  21. Hey! No idea, I didn't notice any hiccups there, nor did any of the testers. Those things are very much based on lots of factors, there aren't more assets or AI units in these missions than in most of the others (definitely less than in M02 or M05) so no idea what could be causing this...
  22. Hey, the scoring is as follows: Landing: 10p Hitting the car with first bomb: 10p Hitting the car with second bomb: 5p Spotting the IED guys and reporting them with hidden F10 menu (guess this is where you lost the points): 10p Destroying the attacking group: 10p Mission start: 50p
