  1. This is a known DCS bug I cannot do anything about. Try to keep the whole engagement above 15K if possible.. I spent dozens of hours on this and it was even foxed by ED at some point. I’ll keep trying. It works most of the time as it should as many people finished the mission without any problems..
  2. I will have to check. I made the ACLS operational but there seems to be a bug where ACLS only works on a freshly added carrier in ME, which I cannot do because I would basically have to build the mission from scratch.
  3. If it moved I wouldn’t be able to build and time the recovery of all the aircraft with the VOs. And the wind is strong enough for it not to be an issue.
  4. Just use F10 radio menu. Maybe the sim didn’t register you pushing the guard monitoring option (because you should get the on-screen notification). Try that & let me know if it helps.
  5. The Turks have stock skins, this is DCS. But we’ll soon get a new model.
  6. 50 is always on mission start. Otherwise the campaign can move back to previous mission. So it is always 50 + whatever is in the guide
  7. I will check with the person who worked on them. Thanks!
  8. OK I was certain it worked that way (ie would allow you to force things). If not I will update the missions for next patch, no problem.
  9. Make sure you are correct radios. He did what he was supposed to but you didn’t hear the instructions. Several people finished the fist mission without issues, so I suspect user problem. Also, did you watch the quick guide video?
  10. Hope it works as intended. Still have to do some fine-tuning on this mission.
  11. Fixed with yesteday's update. Thanks!
  12. No, the AI should take care of them. Made some changes to the mission for this update, but will investigate more.
  13. Thanks Muellerman. You will find the info about scoring for all the missions in the Raven One Guide included in the campaign docs folder.
  14. It was supposed to be fixed before the release, I'll make sure it is with the next update. thanks for the fix, I am going to pin this post for the time being.
  15. Hey @Steel Jaw, I tested in VR exclusively and only had minor problems in last mission - but that was on an old rig with 1080Ti and Rift S. After I changed to Reverb and upgraded the specs it was flawless (mind you, all the other missions were really good even on the old one).
  16. It is certainly not normal. You don't have to kill everyone. I mean the tank needs to be destroyed as it can take down the helo, but definetely soldiers should not count. If the did shoot down the helicopter then this is a DCS bug I guess (or extremely bad luck, as in my tests the helo was able to kill the shooters by himself). Guess this is DCS at its best with the wonky damage model... I can look into it, but nothing comes to my head on how to possibly fix it short of making helos undestructible (but it would make things too easy) or make the tank blow up once it is damaged. Any suggestions welcome.
  17. OFFICIAL TRAILER plus the quick guide on how not to get lost: This is a complaint I am going to get a lot. I've tried to add a synopsis, but for these missions it is really to make a good one, so I let it go. You have all the data in the briefing and in the kneeboard - I know the briefings are difficult, but this is how they sound in real life and we've decided to go full on realism (of course within boundaries of DCS and missions still being fun). In the post above there is a quick guide video, make sure to watch it and also read the READ ME file included in the campaign files. Also: this campaign is difficult not because it throws a lot of enemies at you, but because it follows the real life procedures and comms and you likely will be behind the jet often (I was many times, but with each re-fly of the mission I felt better and that is a great way to truly master the Hornet - although it requires quite a lot of patience). Now to answer your particular question: as FLIP (the main character) you are the wingman here (as you can read from the briefing and from the kneeboard). Then the briefing says to RDV with your flight lead at WP 1 - and after you do and provided you are on correct frequency (there will be pop-up messages to make sure you are), you are to perform an intercept that is also described in detail in the briefing and in the kneeboard with diagrams. After that just follow the FL
  18. I won't be able to do it for the next week update, as this requires an overhaul of the whole campaign - all 21 missions, changing all the documents etc. I didn't know the AI wouldn't respond, I just thought it was the ATC not working properly. In that case I'll have it fixed for the next (so not June) update. Sorry for the trouble, I hate when the rules get changed in the middle of the game (the system worked well for the last few years...)
