  1. Thanks. I thought I fixed this, but that was before the update and the updated bringing the fix might have bugged something else (sigh). I am not sure if I'll be able to have it sorted for the upcoming OB patch, as I am away from my gaming rig for two weeks and bogged down with amount of work on F-15E, but I'll do my best to have it working. Though at this stage to be able to cope with all the bug reports after each update I'd need to put together a small task force of beta testers, because it is impossible for me to check all the things being reported & still work on new content. I'll think of something.
  2. Yes, only Open Beta and only A-10C II obviously (as only it got the new radio).
  3. Impossible, unless it was recently broken. I tested all the missions after I updated them and had no problems with VHF radio. The only issue I can confirm is that FM radio transmission in some missions doesn't work, because of changes in DCS logic behind the scenes. But I am 100% positive the VHF frequence on ARC210 works @Swson. I'll have a look when I get home though.
  4. Thanks Sulfa! I am very glad you liked it!
  5. Thank you guys, appreciate the feedback! Working slowly on 3rd part, which will be a Ravens training campaign set just before the first R1 book (yeah, Saint will be back).
  6. Yeah, they would be a more perfect target at 3000 feet than flying NOE.
  7. On the first part - so you're saying there is no improvement after the last update? I flew this part of the mission three times to test the fixes and each time it worked as it should for me, so I'd appreciate further feedback. On the second part - I will have to ask Kevin to refresh my memory, but he based that engagement of a real-life event. Aircraft taking off are sitting ducks and if you are fast enough the AAA should not be a big problem there. I never had problems with this part of the mission when testing and I see your point, which would be 100% valid if that was something pre-briefed. But let's turn the question around: if you extend and turn back to engage, you don't have AAA but you have 4 Floggers ready to fight you, which puts you at a greater disadvantage. Pure speculation at this point, but a very interesting question!
  8. But then they would be a perfect target for any MANPAD out there.
  9. Mission 6 - it is a bug with AI F-14s, reported ages ago. Maybe try to move a little bit forward in the beginning of the mission. To fix it I would have to rebuild the whole departure sequence, which means - with so many VOs - around 6-8h of work to find a workaround for a core game bug which I hope will be finally fixed. I'll check if there is any update on that.
  10. Hey guys, a hute A-10C II overhaul is out, but it is quite possible I missed some things - or they changed in DCS in the meantime. For the time being I see such example in M02. When you contact Prowler, you won't hear comms with him (6 lines in total) until he gets to Bravo. Not a mission-breaking thing, but letting you know. Apparently core code for the radios changed between me updating this mission and releasing the overhaul. I will fix it for next update.
  11. Hey - was it after the update? If not, try it again in new OB (and in A-10C II), everything should be working now.
  12. @Spirale thanks. For F-16 yes, Reflected is doing one for Kola Map (and I am doing F-18). But I also am quite advanced with F-16 campaign in Syria I am working on with John "Rain" Waters, former F-16 demo pilot (host of the Afterburn podcast).
  13. I tested the whole campaign and in 90% of cases he did work (note: do not use specific commands, "like engage tank with maverick" which indeed does not work, but "engage armour"). That is on DCS. As for spikes all the time, I silenced this comms in the overhaul, he should be much more quiet. What can I say.. the AI wingman has a lot of flaws currently. That is why in other campaigns I use AI flights which you can give limited amount of orders, but at least they obey...
  14. Yes. Guess what.. in the meantime (ie after I finished working on this mission) the core code in DCS introduced a new bug which killed all the communications on FM sent by airborne assets (or maybe it is on purpose, not sure). So in M2 you won't hear the comms from checking in with Prowler to the moment when they enter Bravo 2, after that everything works OK. Sorry about that, love situations like this... EDIT: it looks like it is an intended change - aircraft that do not have FM radio cannot transmit on FM frequencies anymore... I'll have to update this mission and check others if that doesnt happen somewhere else. Guess I'll need to prepare an overhaul of an overhaul
  15. @Gloopyare you on stable or Open Beta?
  16. That will be one of the last ones.
  17. Because they are two separate flights and DCS does not allow me to change the second digit, so it will have to stay like this or one will be 21 and other one 31, both wrong...
  18. Thanks @Sulfa!
  19. Thanks! I will just tell the player to go to CAT 1 good find!
  20. Yeah, kinda scary! Not campaign related for sure...
  21. I cannot reproduce this, it works fine for me every time. Thing that helped some people was full repair of DCS. Other than that I have no idea what to do, sorry A track from your playthrough would be helpful, there may be some user error with the radios involved.
  22. I can't tell the AI not to refuel, but I'll try to figure something out...
  23. Uh, I love the SC AI.. I'll fix R1 for May update, won't be able to do that for April
