Actually what is funny, (well not really it is kind of sad) is that people like you believe what you are saying. This forum is filled with posts that are well thought out and state shortcomings and issues that need to be addressed, but they are respectful, thoughtful and meaningful posts. The "Naysayers" as you like to name them are identified as such by the fact that they complain about things that have perfectly reasonable causes, have been addressed by the devs ad nauseaum and yet people still bring up the same complaints over and over. Once an issue has been identified and addressed, responsible forum members stop complaining about it because more noise DOES NOT HELP. There is no conspiracy here that says you can't state shortcomings or that you have to be glitter encrusted unicorn lovers.. But if you don't want to be labeled as a "naysayer" then post responsibly and respectfully.. Just because you are disappointed does not give you free reign to say anything you want and expect to not be called on it.. How about everyone try being adults and let's wait patiently... I promise you that complaining about the same things day in and day out and asking "Is it done yet" on an hourly basis will NOT get the work done any quicker.. :thumbup:

As has been stated repeatedly, these modules are from 2 different companies and the release dates have absolutely nothing to do with each other.. So with that in mind, no.. Unless everyone wants every module put on hold until the release of EDGE (Whenever the Heck that might be.) But I sincerely doubt this crowd would be able to stomach that idea what with the daily "Are we there yet" threads...

Personally I would like to see the TU-22M... And a B1B as the Western counterpart... (And of course the F-14 Tomcat as it's entire meaning of life was to protect against the Backfire threat..)

The brake is needed to prevent the stick from moving due to vibration or casual touch. Once the brake has been released and a signal is sent to the navigation system, the lever can be used to assign a new altitude when using the altitude hold flight mode"

Interesting as I have 8.1 and have had zero issues with gaming / usb whatever... I don't particularly like it, but no issues here.. And I have no less than 15 USB items connected to my machine... (Make sure you have the latest MB drivers )

Try running them from a POWERED USB hub... You may be over-taxing the USB ports on that machine.. (And I know it is plugged directly to the mainboard, but often the ports on the board are still using the SAME root hub so having items connected to one port can still affect the other ports as well...) bottom line... Try a powered USB hub and you may be OK...

Considering the fact that few in the community train like the US armed forces, it is fair to assume that most folks are less than experts so a very skilled pilot may have some success.. It will be interesting to see how FishbedL makes out once this is released in the Wild...

Isn't it amazing how far this genre has come that we are now asking for rain / snow effects, bird splats etc? I am a dinosaur, there is no doubt, but I remember Microsoft Flight Simulator and a green line for the horizon and how awesome THAT was in all of it's monochrome glory... Now today we have DCS and the realism is AMAZING.. (And EDGE looks to bump the bar considerably further than what we have.) LIFE IS GOOD!
