I was meaning 3D objects that placed them on the fuselage, would suffice. The rest, I realize, are all SDK things. Once again, you're speaking out of place. I'm very happy with the helicopter mod and fly it quite frequently. At no place did I criticize the mod. I was just speaking about improvements to the visuals. There are already 3D pilots that were added and some other external bits. This was just an idea.

The original(?) mod used the FC3 A-10A cockpit. It worked really well. But that was a long time ago. I wish you luck!

Since they dont use these forums, I'm having to dig out from Facebook archives Here's 2017 https://www.facebook.com/RazbamSims/posts/okso-regarding-the-emb-312-tucano-projectit-has-been-shelved-in-favor-of-the-mor/1265996170153685/ From a post over at Mudspike https://forums.mudspike.com/t/razbams-emb-312-tucano/1450?u=st0rm Reddit 2016 Reddit 2018

Then they've gone back on what was said before.

I'm just countering his reply with some bits of fact checking. I've got no intention of making it personal. Thanks for following up.

The USMC purchased the remaining stocks of GR.9 airframes, when they were retired. They're sitting at AMARG as I type. So the capability is there, just not the need as the Harrier is slowly phased out in favor of the F-35.

Maybe do some research and you'll find yourself to be wrong. In the 2016 announcement, they stated the APEX EMB-312 was going to be released in FSX/P3D while Razbam would handle it in DCS. Later, after customer feedback the EMB-312 became the EMB-314. So if they've not made their project known to ED as an official module, they've been lying to the community then. Either way, 6 years is a ridiculous amount of time to hold onto a module.
-
Not a jab at you. Maybe they shouldnt have promised it to the community then. Seems they have a large problem with doing this very thing and not delivering. Maybe 8-10 years down the line... They first announced the T-27 Tucano in January of 2016. Then after some feedback from the community, changed it to the AT-29 Super Tucano. So in 6 years, they've FAILED to fulfil another project they announced. Mystery helo from 2 years ago? They poll the forums asking what helo we'd like and then nothing again. They've got a serious image problem in this community. The workmanship is lacking and the development time is even worse. 1-2 coders? If DCS isn't a priority (which they have shown it not to be) then dont they shouldnt expect us to back them with praise or our money.

Has anyone made the S3 Viking Flyable
ST0RM replied to uscstaylor's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Because the P-8 has range, where the S-3 doesnt come close. And sure a theoretical S-3 with all that, sounds great, but pretty far fetched. -
We've been asking for years. They're not very responsive on it.

Glad you folks, that are ok with the effort you paid for, are hopeful the map will get updates. I dont share that sentiment. Based on the multiple videos from previewers and the comments here and elsewhere, I'll hold onto my money for a long while.

Did you reimport the alpha channel? Haven't used GIMP in a long while, but I do know that a black texture is caused by the lack or or an incorrect alpha.

Nothing with DCS happens fast, so expect a long wait.

"Georgette, what's wrong?" "Nothing, I'm fine!" Immediately crash helo into ground and spare yourself the headache

I'll help out, along with epoch. http://www.hollowpointgames.com/LLH_Counter_Insurgency.rar -
Dont mind Rudel. He seems to come to the aid of every dev and talk down to anyone who dares question anything. A WWII module that has taken this long, does raise questions though.
