  1. I'm only a C-101 fanboi so I'm a niche in a niche in a niche in a niche. Although, the L-39 was pretty fun when I trialed it.
  2. Nice to see such a lively discussion about the trainers. I've been a C-101 fanboi since Jan 2015.
  3. The new rain effect on the Hornet canopy in the video looks pretty nice.
  4. Thanks. I did not wind and let 8 hours elapse but the clock did not stop or lose its time. How long before the clock should stop?
  5. Yes. Thanks for the fix. But I'm still confused about the purpose of winding the clock. If I don't wind it, the clock still works and the stop watch still works. Will they eventually stop working after some time if you don't wind? Thanks.
  6. I have it at 512. Does that setting impact more than just the mirrors though. Like TPODs, etc. ? Also, I like having mirrors when I'm flying high and there isn't as much of an impact as down low so turning down the res isn't great. Anyway, ideally, you should be able to turn them off completely.
  7. The toggle seems to only fold in the mirrors though. It doesn't turn off the reflections. I wish it did to save a bit of frame rate.
  8. I'm pretty confused about the clock. First, it still shows the wrong start time. My mission starts at 3:30 but it shows 12:30. And I don't know what the point of winding it is when both the clock and stopwatch function when you don't wind it.
  9. It's likely the source of my issue. I had set up a mission that set cockpit parameters but none of them worked and the landing gear came down mid-flight lol
  10. You'll find your interest grows exponentially when you have 100 lbs left in your tank
  11. Go into your Windows Start Menu, select Eagle Dynamics, select Update DCS World
  12. Until it's fixed, you can stop the oscillation by inputting some manual rudder. Then resetting the servos.
  13. Same here. Starts after the 12:01:20 mark in the attached track. Mirage F1 - yawing.trk
  14. Even with this checked it is still quite audible and I just have a couple of little speakers at quarter volume. No headphones.
  15. No way to set it. You would just have to control spacing with speed and dive angle and release altitude.
  16. It's controlled by the RAP+CME volume knob underneath the UHF (red) radio volume knob. The ticking you hear could also be the fuel totalizer clicking away. This is a separate thing that the devs say will be fixed in their next patch.
  17. The RWR has been making those noises since the release of the Mirage F1 last year. I thought I read somewhere that they were placeholders. Not sure. Can a developer confirm?
  18. Clicking should be fixed in the next list of Aerges patch items.
  19. Also, I believe TL is the only mode that is working right now so make sure you go to TL directly from normal scan or things won't work.
  20. They've corrected the clicking sound. Fix should be available in next patch.
  21. The clicking is the fuel totalizer in the cockpit. It does that even when you aren't refueling as you consume fuel.
  22. Probably a screenshot would serve the same purpose. When it happens, all you see is the horizon symbol on the scope. No returns. No range bars. It hasn't happened at all today and I can't even see it happen in the attached track (although I could yesterday). Anyway, I'll try to identify the scenario where it occurs.
