  1. Hi. Just making this thread for discussion of the most recent and future updates. Want to give my thanks for the long list of fixes. I especially appreciate the addition of the anti-ship role. I tried making an anti-ship mission a couple of months ago and was frustrated that I couldn't do so. Was happy to see it added in today's patch. Tested it out and it works quite well. Also, thanks for fixing the problem in the Mirage and C-101 where the controls weren't relaxed after black-out.
  2. I use only MSAA x 4 and see the sparkling on a 2D monitor under certain lighting conditions.
  3. I imagine for most training, the student sits in front. But for IFR training, the student swaps to the back. Maybe they just found it easier to mount the hood in the rear.
  4. They may be using the mod which allows you to target ships dynamically with it.

  6. Slightly unrelated but what is your favourite 20xx and Beyond video of years past? I think mine is "2021 and Beyond" that teased the new clouds and the Apache. Please quote me in your reply so I get a notification.
  7. There's an option to enable user snap views? EDIT: Ah ok. I see it. Never noticed that before. It was checked anyways so my issue was the administrator role.
  8. Very easy. Start up any mission and adjust the cockpit zoom level and then press RAlt-Numpad 0 to save it. The zoom level will be saved for the rest of the mission but will be lost once you restart the mission.
  9. The problem seems to have gotten worse. Before the latest OB patch, you could go in and out of snap view and then you would get your custom view settings back. No longer to my dismay.
  10. I took a look and they deploy fine in the track file. The cluster bombs don't make big explosions. They spark on impact and create some smoke. If you press F6, you can watch your weapons deploy. Also, a tip. If you want to contact the ground crew, you can also use the intercom button (MKR + TP) in the same column as the green and red radio volumes. Just saves you from having to open the canopy.
  11. I've tried this and they deploy fine even at vey low altitudes. Can you provide a track file?
  12. I haven't personally noticed that but they have been tweaking that over the past several months so I wouldn't be surprised.
  13. A new item has been added to the checklist: Wait at least 2 minutes after powering wingtip missiles. But I find that the missiles work just a couple of seconds after turning on the switch.
  14. The 2 binds are "Gun Firing Safety - IN / Gun Firing Safety - OUT"
  15. Did you remove the safety pin?
  16. Stationary vibration aside, it's a nice effect. Although I wonder if it is a bit overdone as the wingtip missiles seem to vibrate independently of the rails. Just a thought.

  18. There aren't bindings yet for the trigger guards in the rear seat. You'll have to go into the special options for the F1 and select the simplified firing safety logic option.
  19. Just noticed this. The more weight on the plane, the more bulge in the tires.
  20. Just noticed a couple of little things with the latest patches. The screws on the side cockpit walls are now 3D instead of just textures. Nice. That always kinda bugged me. And the red pilot escape cord on the outside is now 3D instead of a texture. keep it up guys!
  21. There's definitely a way to script it. I've played with it a bit and was able to assign targets dynamically.
  22. Thanks for the latest updates. Appreciate the radar sweep speed being fixed. Would it be possible to get that 14-flare load out fixed soon? Thx.
  23. The clipping and jittering appear to be fixed after today's patch. I think it was a DCS World problem.
