  1. The next patch will fix an issue where the Seriestrim (transsonic autotrim) where disabled when autopilot was engaged. So oftentimes if you turned on the autopilot and accelerated from subsonic to supersonic and then disabled autopilot the seriestrim wouldnt have time to catch-up and the plane would instantly dive, often blacking-out the pilot.

  5. Yes, cartridges is not stored in the mission miz-file.

In newest Open Beta patch the .ini-file in Saved Games folder doesnt work :( There is however an older system with up to 5 cartridges in your C:\Program files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\mods\aircraft\AJS37\Cockpit\scripts\NavigationPanel\Device\init.lua. You'll find the cartridges towards the bottom. The drawback with this system is that you needed to respawn Viggen if you made any changes to the cartridge, therefore the other system with the ini-file in saved games was developed.

  8. Carrying Bk90 on the fuselage stations makes the airplane aerodynamically unstable, hence it was never carried this way IRL. Also, double check your axis-bindings.
  9. I've checked and the custom cartridge from .ini file (nr 7) is not selectable :( Really sorry about that. I've fixed it but you'll have to wait two weeks for next patch. In the meanwhile you can use the init.lua file in "DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\Cockpit\scripts\NavigationPanel\Device" but that requires a re-spawn every time you change it and is also not compatible with CombatFlite (although you could probably copy-paste the values). Again, really sorry.
  10. Had a look in the code and its still there but at some point i inactivated it by commenting it out. Don't remember why exactly why I did this but I think Jediteo was adament that they never actually moved the TILS-stations or something...
  11. No and yes, because there are three options: allow all, disable autogenerated, disable all.
  12. It finds units you wouldn’t know are there unless you have fog-of-war disabled.
  13. There should be a message in dcs.log if it found the file or not. You’ll find it in saved games/dcs world openbeta/logs
  14. Changelog Viggen September 26 2018: - Added possibility to load Bx, RUTA points etc from saved-games folder ini-file. A sample cartridge is in mods-folder. - Added Bx6-9 targeting data for Rb15 to autogenerated attack-missions. - Auto generated attack missions now plans for highest concentration of enemy units instead of closest units. - Increased available attack plans to 5 and added some extra info to differentiate them. - Added possibly to disable cartridges in Mission Editor. - Filter out non-airbases among reference data points in CK37 and kneeboard. This solves the issue where 80+ FARPs in the mission resulted in CTD and when FARPs close to spawn point would be set as take-off point for CK37. - Added T1-fix for two-stage triggers.

HUD and drag bombs (chute) I’ve looked into it and realized that while we don’t have much info about the aerodynamic properties of the bombs I could estimate this from how the sight is constructed (time-of-flight >5.2 seconds and a variable safety height of 130-160m at M0.55-0.8). I’ve recalculated the aerodynamics of the bombs and changed them in-game. The sight will display a little higher and the margins will be better. This update won’t be in tomorrow’s patch but probably the one after that.

Meanwhile just add this line to input/joystick/default.lua {down = 3006, up = 3005, cockpit_device_id = devices.NAVIGATIONPANEL, value_down = 1.0, value_up = 1.0, name = "T1 Fix (Two-stage trigger middle position)", category = "Radar"}, and map it to the half-press stage on your trigger, and then the TV-fix for three position switches on the full-press.
  18. And I like to add that switching the Doppler to SJÖ-mode (= sea, switch by the throttle) will decrease navigational error when flying over sea.
  19. And by that he meant AKTPOS :) Also you need to enter LOngitude before LAtitude in REF/LOLA so Novorossisjk should be something like 374600 and then 444300
  20. I’ve added a filter to airbase lookup so it won’t include for example FARPS and ships etc, which makes the crash go away. Fix probably included in next patch.
  21. Ground Crew issues You’re welcome! As I wrote, the UI is not very good at the moment so I can understand the confusion.
  22. You don’t need to be close to any ground crew to change cartridges. You don’t even need to be at an airfield. Also, see this video:
  23. I wasn’t aware that there was any controls not assignable to all devices. I synced all the controls via a script some time ago. Is it more controls than the master caution reset that you can’t assign?
  24. Well it might not have any cartridges to chose from then. Try the Create Fast Mission from the main-menu and chose to start from runway/ramp.
