A fix to not being able to turn off Terrnav might be in today’s hotfix since I uploaded a update to ED this Monday.

Thanks for the descriptive pictures but that's not the visual range gun sight. You are probably in the wrong mode. The visual ranging mode looks like this: You have to lower you seat a little from the default one (RCtrl+S) to see the symbology. The J/A selector needs to be in this setting: and master mode ANF. You select wing-span with the selector just right of the J/A selector. While in AKAN-LUFT mode you can though change the symbology so it appears like in your picture by initiating a radar-lock (T1). You then dont have to visually tell the range but the time-line indicates instead if you are within range to fire. Hope this helps!

TOT for RB-15 bx8 implemented There was an issue with missile-in-target being displayed even though it wasn’t set (which was the reason time-to-destination only displayed zeros) but I fixed it like yesterday and not in time to make today’s patch. You’ll have to wait two weeks for the next patch. I am not aware of any other issues with time management though. Edit: sorry checked the log and the fix will be in today. Didn’t realize it was two weeks ago that I made that code commit. There was some other issue with Rb15 time apparantly that I’ve fixed according to the log but I don’t remember what it was ;P

There’s a little flag on the ADI when starting up. Make sure it is gone before you start taxiing.

Yeah I committed a fix for that just now but since I’m going away for a week it likely won’t make it into next patch.

Yes there is a little electro magnet that puts the switch in LD position when above a certain altitude and when at final. Don't think you could override it.

Yeah you should press T1 to get radar ranging.

Heatblur 1st:dev to introduce Jetwash in DCS? There’s jet wash effect in Viggen too fyi, but yes don’t think other modules has it. The jet wash simulation in F-14 is more in-depth though than the one in the Viggen

Hesitant to call this a bug.... Ok so thanks for the report but I’m going to be frank here and say I/we won’t do anything about this [emoji4] It is most likely some collision issue with the carrier itself and that’s not a HeatBlur model. Hope you enjoy the Viggen though and don’t hesitate to report bugs when you see them!

But do you wait until the ADI has spun up? There's a flag on it telling if it isnt aligned yet. If you start taxiing before this you will have the issue in the pictures. The ADI aligns with gravity, and if the plane is moving (accelerating) while it is aligning it will produce an incorrect alignment.

Bombing HUD and meaning Yeah it’s hard to know because even the source documents are unclear. In DCS it is currently marking the target with unsafe in PLAN-mode and with the trigger in DYK-mode. It is the closest I got to the explanation in the RL manual (like, after trigger the symbology shows how to steer to hit the target, so I reason it is a CCRP-style logic in DYK).

Are you cold starting? Do you wait for the ADI to settle?
