  1. As per subject thanks =DECOY= and the Razbam team for the improved bug tracker for tracking progress and visibility of outstanding bugs and for new/improved features being added to your stable of modules.
  2. +1, excellent suggestion.
  3. And rightly so. Razbam do not have the manpower of ED and for them to release the Supertucano while the Mig 19 and Harrier are in early access would in effect mean they have 4 modules out there with only the M2K not in EA status. Not a good look if you ask me.
  4. I'd love to see this module released by the end of this year. We all just have to hang on patiently, something I know is difficult for some here. My strategy has always been to try not to think about it and then when it does get released it is a pleasant surprise.
  5. Really there is very little to distinguish between 3rd gen Ryzen and Intel now that in real world DCS scenario terms you probably won't notice. And the Intel 9900KS is just a sickening money grab from Intel. :disgust::disgust: Get the stock 9900k and spend the saved money on a better GPU.
  6. Agree with Bit. My feelings on your new proposed build were the same. Do not, I repeat, do not build a new system around a 2 or 4 core system. If you cannot afford a 3rd generation Ryzen 3 system then go for what Bitmaster has recommended above. A 6 core/12 thread system build will give far greater longevity that a 2 or 4 core system. Then you can simply upgrade the GPU in 2-3 years time if required.
  7. At half price it is good value but being still in early access around two years on there are things being worked on by Razbam albeit from the outside it appears that the progress has slowed down considerably. But it is in my opinion the most fun CAS aircraft in DCS and I think that when it is completed it could rank as one of the top handful of fixed wing modules. The question though is how far away are Razbam from completing I?. Bottom line you have to determine are you happy to accept it in it's current early access state, with the baggage that accompanies an early access experience.
  8. I'd do the same with that as Demon suggested to do with your PSU. Unless you have a relative to give your old PC away to. I bought for my son a budget case in the Phanteks P300 which I slotted in my old X58 Intel i7-950 system in. It's a great modern looking case with tempered glass side panel, dust filters, front USB3 connectors and enough room for a modern ATX system build. Cost is around USD $65. Would probably be best getting an extra 120mm fan to mount as front intake as only comes with a single 120mm exhaust fan. Check out to give you an idea of the P300 and what you can get for the money these days. Also the advise by Demon on PSU's is spot on. No need for anything over 550-650w in power. So really the only component inside your pc worth keeping is probably the SSD.
  9. Anyway this topic is about the tasty liveries that will be available for this aircraft in DCS.
  10. The GBU-38 does not work. See this thread and it has been confirmed by =DECOY= from Razbam. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=254156
  11. I have never heard of that PSU so to be on safe side get a new one. And your motherboard is also a no go as an upgrade path. Definitely suggest you build a new system from scratch. This video gives you a good idea of what you can do with 700-800 USD. You could save some money by keeping your SATA SSD and possibly your computer case. Out of interest what is your PC case?
  12. As =DECOY= from Razbam said, "they are not ready yet".
  13. Given you say you have a budget of 700-800 to spend I would suggest doing a complete platform upgrade. I just don't see much point on sticking with the old dual core (albeit with hyperthreading), by putting more money into it with more RAM and so on. You could keep certain components to take over into your new build such as case, PSU, and possibly even the memory as I think that intel platform could use DDR4 memory. For a decent value build I would be looking at: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cors/12 threads, includes it's own adequate CPU cooler) Motherboard - MSI B450 like the Tomahawk Max GPU - AMD RX590 or Nvidia 1660 series (Ti or Super). Also AMD 5500 series GPU should be out soon and could be a good value for money proposition as they will replace the ageing RX570-590's I think. RAM - 16GB (2 x 8GB kit) of at least 3200Mhz speed Storage - make sure your OS and games are on a SATA SSD, not an old mechanical style drive PSU - so long as a decent brand name of around 500 to 550w 80 plus. I am guessing you are gaming at 1080p resolution given your current low spec GPU?
  14. Thanks Vibora. Came across the same issue and your fix worked a treat. :) I'm loving the little details that have been added or fixed in the past patch updates. Keep the love for the C-101 coming which is now my premier trainer. Also I have really been impressed by Aviodev in it's customer communication/support. It is this along with the quality of the C-101 module which is making me lean towards buying your next module the Mirage F-1 whenever that may be.
  15. I really enjoy the album however for me there is one track that is missing from this album and it is featured in their video titled . It is an absolute cracker  and despite all my searching I cannot find it available anywhere for download. A total bummer that this track is not available. :(
  16. Ok just discovered this in the Aviodev main forum. Vibora has posted link to a download file to fix this. Let me know if this fixed it as I will do the update and test myself later tonight.
  17. Haven't installed yet the latest as I was kind of expecting this to come over the weekend. Have you tried ED's Repair function?

    A6-Intruder

Actually we are coming up on 2 years, not 3 years of early access. The Harrier was in internal testing with ED in September 2017 and was released to the public as an early access module on the 29th November 2017. However I share your frustration, in particular due to the progress over the last few months and the less than stellar communication from Razbam on the Harrier module. Have a look at Aviodev and the continued updates and support they have been delivering for the C-101 module and compare that to Razbam. It makes for a stark comparison. Below I list in order from most recent (top) all the updates (2.5 Open Beta Changelog) that Razbam have delivered to their modules over the last 6 month period: DCS M-2000C by RAZBAM - 3rd October 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 4th September 2019 (Only full set of training missions) DCS M-2000C by RAZBAM - 4th September 2019 DCS M-2000C by RAZBAM - 31st July 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 31st July 2019 DCS M-2000C by RAZBAM - 17th July 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 17th July 2019 DCS AV-8B N/A by RAZBAM - 3rd July 2019 DCS MIG-19P by RAZBAM - 3rd July 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 21st June 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 6th June 2019 DCS MIG-19 by RAZBAM - 6th June 2019 DCS AV-8B by RAZBAM - 8th May 2019 DCS MIG-19 by RAZBAM - 8th May 2019 So it is fair to say that the pace of updates from Razbam with the Harrier have slowed significantly over the last couple of months while there is little indication on what Razbam are working on apart from the JDAM to bring the Harrier out of Early Access and into a complete state. The Bug Tracker on the Razbam website have zero real date timestamps to assess progress on bugs. In effect as a paying customer it appears that I am expected to keep hanging in the dark. Razbam are not doing the A-6 Intruder. Heatblur may be doing the Intruder down the track. Razbam are busy working on a mid-life update for the Mirage 2000C, bringing the Harrier and Mig-19 out of early access, and then a host of 4 other modules being in no particular order the Mig-23, F-15E, Super Tucano, and a Falklands map. Given they still have two modules in Early Access states I would not think Razbam would want to extend their Early Access hanger to 3 or 4 modules.
  19. Yep. It's ready when it's ready.
  20. The all important drink/cup holder. Love the attention to detail.
  21. Agreed. With something like an Intel i9-9900k or other high end consumer line CPU this cooler may not be adequate or at best you may have to run the fans at high speed = high noise levels, to keep temps under control.
  22. That is the way I went. I am waiting for the Harrier to be completed which is now 2 years in early access with progress down to a crawl, and no road map as to when it will be completed in sight. So for me there will be no more Razbam early access purchases be it the Mig-19 or the Falklands map. I find the Mig-19 an interesting aircraft and one day I hope I can purchase it but that is dependant on the Harrier being completed. And the same goes for the Falklands map.
  23. Nice, glad you are happy with it.
  24. His videos are great. Guessing he has crossed off his list having an SH-60 or S-3 Viking in it as the current 3d models of these are a dogs breakfast that should belong in Minecraft and not DCS. :noexpression:
  25. Nice. Will watch this on the family 65 inch TV.
