  1. Hmm... Sorry to open an old post but Su-25 (both versions) kneeboard "page / previous" works but "page / next" doesn't. With my HOTAS Bindings as well as default keyboard buttons. So far only the Su-25s but I haven't checked other FC3 planes. I assume it's an FC3 issue for me since full switch modules work fine..
  2. I posted this in the TS forum: Just installed TS3 on a new build (TS3 has worked fine on my old build). When I try to set the PTT hotkey from my HOTAS, it recognizes it but when I hit Enter (or left mouse) to save it it always adds +enter (or +left mouse button) to the selection. Any suggestions? Can hotkeys be manually edited in one of the files? If so, where and which file. There were similar posts going way back through 2020. This was the general response from TS: TS.ChrisRTeamSpeak Staff Feb '20 Joystick and Gamepad support is not included yet. We are working on that. I have no Idea why it was working fine on the old machine. I can set a single press on any keyboard key but that means I have to remove my hand from the throttle or joystick and hunt for that key while in VR. That's not gonna be an option for me. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to use VAC from now on
  3. Our commander posted this in our squad channel but I thought that we may get some more response here... All, JG-1 wants to fly and train against a BLUFOR squadron with similar interests. And if things went well, we’d be interested in setting up more formal events for the future, potentially involving multiple squadrons. The plane-set for any practice/event would be developed in advance. But think along the lines of Enigma’s, Blue Flag Cold War, or Alpenwolf’s Cold War. We’d, of course, be willing to consider going against more modern aircraft. However, we’d need to carefully discuss the objectives to make things fun for both sides. 4. Thanks for all of the advice @AeriaGloria. I'm pretty sure I've seen your guide but forget where to find it. Can you provide a link please?
  5. I second this!
  6. Yes, this is the issue that I'm having. I have the spring disconnected from my Crosswinds (hydraulic dampener installed). At this point, I'd prefer to have no interaction from the autopilot at all rather that what it's doing now. Flipping the heading autopilot on / off doesn't seem to restore the pedal axis to neutral. I'd be willing to re-connect the centering spring to the pedals if necessary. If so, should I then change Microswitch Logic to "Disable by setting pedal axis to neutral". These are my current settings:
  7. I would like to see an option for anti-torque (rudder) pedals for no centering spring as there is for the cyclic. I use crosswinds with the centering spring disconnected. Would like to still use autopilot functions like heading hold and hover hold.
  8. I'm using a joystick without centering springs (Winwing F-16 ?Orion2 with damping kit) and Crosswind rudder pedals with damper and with centering spring disconnected. What settings should I use? I don't really need force trim with this set-up but still would like to be able to use the AP dampening as well as en-route and hover hold.
  9. Uniformly too stiff throughout the range. I have removed the cams / springs since I don't want centering. The stick stays where I leave it. Much better IMO than using the force trim switch.
  10. Got it! Thanks.
  11. "vrdirectx" is not in the list for me in NvidiaProfileInspector. Is there somewhere I can download it and add?
  12. Thanks. That's unfortunate.
  13. I just installed ReShade 5.4.1 and was really pleased what it looked like in 2D after just a couple of tweaks. However, when I launched VR I got this error message and frozen game. I had to kill the error window and the subsequent windows to save the log file since the mouse cursor wouldn't move over the windows... like it was blocked. Removing ReShade fixed it. Reverb G2 using OpenXR. Are there any VR safe / unsafe shaders known?
  14. For anyone interested, the engine controls explained for the Jetstream 31 which has basically the same system as the Bronco:
  15. Ahh... got it. Thanks for the info! I really do like the module. If that's true, TURBOSHAFT would be the most appropriate one. EDIT: I retract that statement.
  16. I had the same issue with the Mirage F1. Getting the latest version of the "Clickable Cockpit" fixed it. I have no issues currently. Make sure that you have the latest version.
  17. Really nice module guys. I'm really enjoying it. However, I think you have the engine controls wrong. It seems that the condition levers are being used as a prop RPM control. This is not correct. The Garrett engine basically operates at full RPM normally. Power (Torque) is varied by the power levers by changing the pitch of the props. The prop RPM is therefore a function of the power lever and not the condition lever. Speed Lever (SL), sometimes called the Condition Lever19 (CL) or RPMLever, basically serves one function; to select the engine operating speed. Normal Speed Lever positions are: High, Cruise, and Low. The RPM selected is according to the flight or ground condition, and once set, requires resetting only when the flight condition changes. High (100%) RPM is used for takeoff and landing, Cruise (96-97%) RPM for normal climb/cruise/ descent operations, and Low (65-73%) RPM for engine starting and ground or taxi operations. Maybe I'm missing something since most of my turboprop experience is with the P&WC PT-6 engines and not the Garrets. Look at this document: https://mikeklochcfi.files.wordpress.com/2021/02/garett-engine-manual.pdf
  18. Update: PG-44A is too thick. Cleaned it off and went back to 767A.
  19. I'm not sure why but if I select "Next Missile" (Rt short) then select Down-Short it works properly. I get the message "No target selected" and both the Doors and the Observe switches are in the down position. He will now work the next time I ask him to search for target.
  20. I tried the dampers as supplied from Winwing but they had to be tightened so much to overcome the centering action of the rubber boot that there was just too much friction to allow for precise control. I then applied Nyogel 767 as shown and... night and day! I could back off the clamping force to almost nothing and the stick stayed where released but now had a smooth feel. I have ordered and will be trying a heavier damping grease, Nye PG44a as soon as it arrives. I highly recommend giving this a try for heli pilots.
  21. Thanks for responding @AeriaGloria but I did have the Petrovitch menu up. I also tried switching the menu off after giving the down short command but no luck. I've confirmed that the "Observe" switch is up and the "Doors" switch is down after giving the down short command by switching to the front cockpit after giving him sufficient time to flip the switches.
  22. After destroying a target and before turning off to re-set, I press "Down Short" to tell him to close the doors and turn off "Observe". He closes the doors but doesn't turn off "Observe" causing the gyros to tumble or be damaged. Now he won't bring up a list of targets. Is "Down Short" the correct command? Is there something else?
  23. Yeah, that sounds counter-intuitive but I'll try it. One thing I noticed while comparing Single player, our JG-1 server and Enigma server is the high memory usage on Enigma. I've now enabled XMP and am gradually turning up the default speed. Currently at 2600 MHz. (32 GB of 4 ea 8 GB G-skill DDR4). GPU is worked pretty hard on Single player and our server but looks lower on Enigma. Bottom line, this machine is old and I'm looking to either get a new one or do some upgrades to this one.
  24. Yes, Meta shader and FXO are regularly emptied. I set clutter graphics option to -150000 and also disabled Tacview in the Specials tab. I'm now getting 40 - 60 FPS. I'll let our other guys know. Thanks!
  25. Several of my squad with older machines are getting very low FPS and stuttering on Enigma's which makes it unplayable. I have a 1080Ti and get 60+ FPS on all other servers but only 20 or less on Enigma. This is in 2D. Another member gets 10 or so (he's in VR though. We really want to fly here since it's the only real option for populated Cold War action. Are others having this issue? I suspect that Oveloard may be hogging resources. Is there any way to individually disable it. Any other advice?
