  1. This looks really cool. Something like this coupled with FFB would be a dream.
  2. The standard was set all those years ago. in all seriousness i had it and it was an amazing game for its time. But we’ve come a long way.
  3. “We will be developing the A-6 as a fully flyable module together with our partners at Eagle Dynamics”, does this mean collaboration on your A6 module with ED? And ED will have a hand in your work in the future?
  4. I’ve found with the last couple of updates I get best performance setting tray tool to auto with the asw for oculus. Traditionally this has always been best set to off.

  6. Sorry I know nothing about yaw vr I did take a look at it some time back but couldn't think of a way it would work with the extension I have on my stick but I would be interested to hear peoples thoughts on it with dcs. I have a jetseat with gives really good buffet effects with the F14 module and I need to have ffb activated in the game as well as software for the jetseat. But yeah sorry cant help with Yaw VR and i dont think ive seen any members on these forums with it. Good luck.
  7. I currently have left right mouse and rotary switches mapped to my Hotas and can point to things with my headset. But I’ve just purchased a ring mouse and am waiting for it to arrive. For £40 I thought it’s worth a go and is a lot cheaper than point ctrl which does look good I admit but seems a bit pricey to me plus the long waiting time. I shall see how it goes but it looks pretty workable with your thumb whilst still using your hotas.
  8. Been a few months since the last post on this subject. Is this being looked at by devs. As mentioned before you can see object scenery grow as you fly along even with high visible range. Could we get some kind of acknowledgment it will be looked at? edit: after installing Syria map again there is an improvement as a VR user, but I’ve had to increase my visible range. So happy to take back some criticism here. I still think some of the mountains look blurry and repetitive and need a little more work. But I remember the Normandy map being improved over time so look forward to further enhancements. Actually the longest I’ve used the map since purchasing.
  9. The MH I’ve always found is the most reliable.
  10. I agree with you for me lefuneste’s version 7.4 runs better for me as well. I think the edges around the canopy look a little neater as well, maybe just me.
  11. This latest update is the last patch for 2.5.6 lefuneste01, I’m anticipating the next one will probably break this great mod. I just hope you will be able to be it working, and it doesn’t look like ED will incorporate the features into the core game, it makes such a difference to DCS VR for me and many others I’m sure.
  12. It’s a nice touch and a good ambient noise. It reminds me a bit of top gun. But yes it needs to be slightly more subtle going from reheat to mil power. It sounds a bit like a switch. Having said that I’ve never flown an F14 so maybe that’s how it was. But I agree atm the transition sounds a little unnatural
  13. I guess so. The Vikhr we have on the KA-50 are that simple. They are laser guided. I guess they are classed as a missile and we class these as rockets but they are guided.
  14. Added clickable cockpit on/off toggle to mouse keybindings. won’t be able to try the patch for a few days. What exactly does this do?
  15. Your opinion. Not the opinion of many VR users. I don’t use the touch controllers. I’ve always found it to difficult to have them on my arms and take my hands off the stick then use them then take them off and put my hands on the stick. Not sure how other VR users find them. Eventually I hope to get something like pointctrl.
  16. Does this mod have individual cockpits for each flyable?
  17. No it’s fine I managed to get it to disappear with Luma. The Fxaa effects really help with the tomcat. I use MSAAx2 but still find it really helps with funny shimmering edges in low sun light, it’s a great mod. It’s breathed a little life back into my CV1 which was on my to do list for upgrade.
  18. One other thing I noticed when I used the sharpen feature on the tomcat is it made a funny shadow sort of effect on the hud. This was cured by adding Luma.
  19. Sometimes if you set your colour mul different in cockpit to external it can cause lines like this. I have noticed it with mine. If this is what you are experiencing experiment adjusting the colour mul and it will probably disappear.
  20. Like I say it would just be my personal preference.
  21. I would personally prefer a GR1 or equivalent variant. But that’s just me. Simply because I would love to recreate desert storm scenarios at some point in the future. The GR4 great airplane but became more of a medium level bomber, the low level strike is something I would love to try especially on a map of Iraq in DCS. Would be like getting the desert storm add-on for D.I’s Tornado all over again.
  22. great work once again How does the process work to have your mods added to the core of DCS World, if you wanted to have them added of course? Personally I think they are more than good enough, and DCS world should have them. Joeys Hermes mod as well.
  23. Sorry, just heatblur are probably sick of us banging on about the Tornado. Yeah I know they would do a great Tornado, but I don’t think they will be giving anything away until after the Viggen and the Tomcat are sorted this year, like they’ve said. In all honesty I don’t think they have even made a decision as to what they’re next module will be, they probably have some ideas but I doubt they have made any decisions. one thing though, I do hope that heatblur do it one day, simply because their jester a.i is something I’ve been highly impressed with, I don’t think people realise how revolutionary that interface is for flight sims. I can’t think of anything like it in any simulation, and it’s really fluid as well, and I find flying the Tomcat in single player really enjoyable. And I admit to being a little apprehensive about how effective it would be before launch. The tornado being very much a two man crew I.e systems were operated in the back seat, it wasn’t just a duplicate of the front seat an a.i backseater would therefore be really important in a simulation like DCS. I don’t think Razbam would take it on for that reason, and that’s not a dig at Razbam, I think they have been doing some great work on the harrier recently, but they already made it clear they won’t be doing a jester type interface for their F15E, to be fair as they explained it the front seater is able to operate all systems that the backseater can with that aircraft, but my point is I don’t think the Tornado would be for Razbam. So I do hope eventually Heatblur do it.
  24. To do the F-4 justice it would ideally be multiple variations, at least an Air Force and Navy variant, in one module. That’s quite an undertaking, HB would be capable of it of course. Let’s see so many wonderful and iconic aircraft available. When it all settles with the Viggen and the Tomcat it shall be highly anticipated where they go next, F4 is iconic, but I’ve longed for a Tornado for so many years.
