  1. Amazing stuff, I wasn’t expecting further improvement this is great.
  2. I sort of get what you mean, I look at the textures and they can look a bit repetitive and artificial particularly hills. And the growing trees are still a big disappointment for me. I'm not sure if this is made worse because of using VR, I know increasing load distance made no difference to the visual appearance for me. The airfields, well that is something else they are the most detailed and convincing of any I have ever seen in any sim, amazing. I hope they keep improving it, PG is still my favourite DCS map for now.
  3. The Harrier is a brilliant module, and if you have an interest in the Harrier it is an essential module for any flight sim enthusiast. It’s also the only STOVL jet in DCS which adds a different dimension to landings, something different to think about and learn. Aerial refuelling is tricky but achievable having the probe over your shoulder, VR helps but it’s challenging. It holds a nice variation of weapons, it doesn’t carry much fuel, so you have to think about that and manage it as well, you also can’t land with too much fuel. Looks and runs brilliantly in VR if you are a VR user. There is a lot to love about Razbams harrier as far as I’m concerned and I would recommend it definitely.
  4. Illustrious looks even better, it’s amazing, this is an such a good mod.
  5. What an amazing mod I’m really enjoying it, keep going with it can’t wait to see further updates. This is such a great addition for the harrier.
  6. Try this mod. It’s the only way to change the saturation levels in VR that I know of. It has made a massive difference for the look of the game for me.
  7. I’m really glad to hear this.
  8. Oh ok thanks.
  9. Hi, yeah I am advancing the pages but the image on the VR pilot knee doesn’t change. I remember doing it on the hornet but I think the image had to go into temptextures and I believe it had to be a certain size. I just can’t remember how to do it.
  10. A long time back now I got to try the now gone and forgotten veao teams P-40 with VR at Duxford. I had a very short opportunity in the module, it was my first taste of VR and the moment I became hooked with it. As for the P-40 I didn’t have enough time in it to make a proper judgment of the flight model but visually they had actually done a neat job and it was a really cool feeling sitting in a cage like environment with all the frames either side of you, it felt like an old WW2 fighter. Thing is if someone asked me what’s your favourite WW2 fighter I wouldn’t say the P-40 and in reality it wouldn’t fit or compete with the current crop of WW2 aircraft available in DCS but having experienced it I can’t help but feel it’s one that’s got away. It’s not my favourite WW2 fighter, but it’s certainly not my least favourite, I do love it, love the look of it and I would love to have it in DCS. It’s such a shame they couldn’t have forwarded the work they had done on to ED. Maybe one day we will see someone take it on.

    Razorback

Would have preferred the razorback through choice, but I do love this module. It would be a great addition at some point but quite a lot of work involved with the cockpit view as well.
  12. I've added pages to the kneeboard but does anybody know how you can get them to display on the 1st person VR pilot?
  13. Looking at some of the recent issues that they are looking into after the last couple of OBs I think your right I can’t see it being before March
  14. That's great thanks Andre
  15. Hi im having the exact same issue as the poster above, the F14a doesn't seem to work with the jetseat all other modules are fine. Same error message as he has posted as well. I have SSA ver 2.1.0.0 I can't find the beta version on your downlaods page could you attach a link? Regards,
  16. Was looking at the guns + camera switch in the P-47 as I armed it and thought, what a cool feature it would be if when you pulled the trigger it would record your gun camera footage for WW2 warbirds that you could review when you finish the mission. If we could watch it in 1940s style projection and slow it right down it would work really well with EDs new damage model. Just thought it would be quite a cool feature.
  17. You could try combat flaps. 1st stage when turning, I find this particularly useful at high altitudes, but it can prevent the snap rolls when pulling on the stick in a turn and enable a slightly tighter turn provided you have the energy. But be aware that using them will cause more energy loss. So retract them when you don’t need them. For example if I’m in a fight and my enemy goes low and I follow I retract my flaps to gain as much speed as possible. As I’m turning to gain a firing solution I may consider dropping to 1st stage flaps to get my nose on him to take a shot. Then retract them again if not turning tight. It works for me with the mustang if you wanted to try it.
  18. The P-47 is fantastic in this latest release thanks for the great work you've done Eagle Dynamics.
  19. How’s the Invincible coming along? Anything to share?
  20. I know I agree. Normandy map is looking better and running better than ever so it’s my go to for WW2 VR. Love some of the work on WW2 birds by ED recently though so lots of credit there but it’s a shame after purchasing the channel that I just don’t use it.
  21. The pilot looks awesome
  22. Still not live yet?
