I agree the G1 is best bang for your money I have owned 2 and just moved to the G2 I have my G1 for sale £175 squid cheap as chips and is still more comfortable than the G2. The only real reason I bought the G2 is the cable of the G1 drives me nuts when sharing the head set with other people in the same room the G2 is a little better at every thing else but not that much.

ED modules short carrier landing are ok and are best using multiplayer, F14 is just about the worst for replays.

I must say early morning on the carrier was way to much shadow effect for me kind of of silly looking in VR but now lovey also I would remove the refection's if I was you.

I see nothing different performance wise.

I removed the reflections and the shadows from the canopy only tried in pancake mode also keeps the rain working will try later in VR.

Since I introduced a sever into the equation I am very happy in VR at the moment.

Well after a quick look Your board is notorious for USB drop outs when gpu is under load.

Flat Shadows. I done a quick pancake test not tried in vr but cockpit I lose 20 ish but external on the F18 no drop at all. Also the FPS in the cockpit are the same with shadows Hight or Low no difference but still lose the same 20 ish frames. .
