Oh no It is NOT, the A-4 and MBB are Mods because of LICINSING and Profit limitation issues. Actually they are missing every feature you name BECAUSE they don´t have access to the SDK. Both MODS were more feature complete than ANY early access from ED, so mesure your words. There are plenty of mods out there that do not adhere the DCS quality standard. But the two you mention are not precisely IT. I am not saying that the SDK should be given freely, that would be nuts and financial suicide. Still, maybe in exceptional cases, there should be some leniency or assistance.

The only way the radios will work is if ED gives them the SDK. No Mod has access to radios, unfortunately... We can always dream tho.

I think Angola fits perfectly into DCS, - low populated areas, - classic cold war proxy war, - lots of unofficial assistance from all over the world, on both sides.... - may assets from South Atlantic can be reused in Angola - you can make believe its Congo, Botswana, Zibabwe, or any "what if" African conflicit...

Maybe they should include a "deck crew" position and let this guys play with the elevators all day LOL oh and they can have a go at arranging them inside the hangar too, DCS+Elevators(realy old, old game)+Tetris ;). I would settle for being able to walk to my plane ON deck. I don´t remember such a solicitation for working hangars in Air bases ;) Then again. on land Also, the ground crew take the airplanes from the hangars to the Flight line. and Pilots go from the ready room to the Flight Line, NOT to the hangars...

If we are going to have more than one Corsair, I would love to see the F4U-5 at least, since it also participated in Korea. And a full module of a -5N or NL would be a dream!

I Agree fully, not necessarily with the explanations , but DCS needs less complex aircraft, with shorter development times. Quite frankly to me late 60´s up to mid 70´s is the golden era of jet combat, when Guts, and skill was paramount and technology just assisted. It was the era of innovation, lots of different models, roles, new technologies, early missiles that had a PK of maybe 5% LOL, Il-28, SU-17, Su-11 or 15, Yak 28, Mig 17, Mirag III and V, Dasault Etandart, F-100, f-101,102, 105, 106, Bucaneer, Jaguar, Fiat G91, Super Mysteré, and going back to the 50´s lots of jewels, like the Cougar or Fury....

Well Its a complex Unit with lots of things happening, so I believe there will be an impact on minimum specs machines. And by the way 16Gm, its below minimun now a days...well at least if MP is considered. I am at the absolute minimun with an I-7 3.5gz, 20gb RAM, and a GTX 965M, 1tb m-2 ssd and have come to terms with the fact that i need a New Rig to fly DCS... OT You call THAT spartan... get out of the Tupperware mate...

Actualy a Trench (Block) 1 would be grate also. And if it used diferent avionics from current blocks in services there should not be any problmes. BUT yes its a technicaly dificult mode to make, tiem inusming systems, etc... I woudl only trust ED or Belsimtech to do it (no, heatblur needs to concentrate on the Intruder/Tornado LOL. veao could not get the Hawk rigth and had to bail...And people expeted them to do a Typhoon!!!! Please..... regarding the Jf-17, yes its avery modern and in service plane, BUt its avionics is from different planes, like the F-16 hotas, trainers avionics, Fulcrums engines, and other publicly available info.

I agree with flankerkiller, I believe that the Phantom II would have been out, compleated and in ifs full glory in a year an a half, instead they are still fighting with 4+ and 5th gen uber planes after three years... Yeah they sold a ton, now they need to sell "whatever" to finance finishing what they already sold. The F-4 does not need new systems, weapons or complicated new modes... Everything it needs is working allready perfectly on the F-5. Well yeah multicrew, they gave us the Huey with the promis and here we are still... ED should have done the Phantom II, the Crusader, the Corsair II, Thuds, instead of half (if lucky) baked teen series....

I believe the Limit is RAM, and alocation space. The more Objects, altitudes, roads, etc the more ram you need to have and alocate (move), the more ram, the les FPS, becuase of more load on the core, the bus etc... So of course the area of the map is not the limit, it is what is inisde the are that makes a map feasble or not. one with lots of stuff wil kil the PC we run DCS on... so it is not posible. Specialy Not with DCS polici of making everything very detailed and realistic And accurate. Meaning landmarks, and recognizable features, special objects, ect...

Well I like to give argentinian colours to all my rides jajajaja China ofered some J-10s on 2018 so an JF-17 would not be far fetched as a What iff. I woulg have to theink witch Brigada woudl get it, probably the 6ta to replaced the Mirgae IIIs it had. but maybe give it the Grupo 8 de caza (now disbanded) colours. Something alonmg this lines...
