EDIT: guess I just didn't see it. But why do you call it a "smoke marker" in the readme and "explode waypoint marker" in the game? Same thing for the "illuminating bomb"....

I see the above in the readme, but where are they in the trigger list? I see something called and "illuminating bomb" which must be the illumination flare, but where is the "smoke marker"? Bug? Bad install?:helpsmilie:

Everything should work now, regardless of what you use, including in mp. I'm very interested in the new "end mission"/"load mission" triggers. I'm not entirely sure yet, but I think you can use these to make a mp coop campaign... Edit: I don't see a smoke signal trigger. I see a signal flare trigger and you can set color, altitude, and zone, but there is no option for a smoke signal....Damn shame if they didn't include something like that...

@ Timm: which version of the sharkpit are you using?

Adds a lot of new tree types, ground foilage, ect. and just makes ground pounding so much more immersive. All the buildings and roads and all are still there, though so no worries. Only drawback is that it sometimes mkaes finding enemies incredibly difficult when your playing a mission built by someone who didn't have this mod installed...

I do like his idea though...(bfeld's) especially for training tracks. Would be a great learning tool.

@ Viper: If your asking why your loadout screen looks different from Timm's, could it be because your helicopter's task is not set to ground attack, but cas or something else instead? I can't tell from your picture what task you have selected... -

Shouldn't matter if you uninstall your mods. I was thinking it might have to do with the new triggers they added/removed in 1.01. Does your version of the mission still work? (I'm playing sp version btw)

I've installed 1.01 and now this mission freezes for me about halfway through. (After I take out the first manpad, I overfly its position and then take a right down into a low valley that runs parallel to the main river...That's when it frezes. Anybody else with this problem?

Very nice mod. Gives the game a great atmosphere and it wasn't a big fps hit either.

@ Dragon and TangoRomeo. Now that I've updated to 1.01, when I install your mod, the overlays on top of both the adi and backup adi disappear. When I uninstall your mod, the overlays return, but now I'm stuck with a bland, unexciting cockpit...Is anybody else having this problem? It's only when I install the cockpit v2.2 mod...I've included a before and after screenshot below...

Unbiased point-blank no-holds-barred: This mission needs a lot of work. 1: The briefing needs to be expanded to include the current situation so that the pilot knows what's going on. Add pictures to the briefing as well so that the pilot knows the area he'll be flying in. 2: While the idea behind the mission is great and I love the use of a forward observer walking me onto the target, this mission posed no challenge whatsoever. Make the threat move towards its objective and have the enemy actively engaging the friendlies I'm trying to protect: Give me some motivation by making the threat to the friendlies real - If I don't perform, then they die...I would also beef up the hostiles with a few manpads. As it was there were no AA threats at all in the mission. They are also too close to the airfield to be in any real danger. IRL a quick reaction force would have left from the base to engage the hostiles attacking their friends...Put them out in the city on a mission where they were trying to get back to base when they were ambushed. Put attackers on both sides of their route so that I have to worry about deflection shots to avoid stray bullets hitting friendlies. Above all, try to create the appearance of an active battlefield....And let me take off from the runway instead of flying from a farp 12km away...If I'm attached to american forces then I should be able to take off from their base....

@ Einstein: Technically it's only "correct" if you have a ffb stick. If you don't then it's still unrealistic. His main complaint (if I'm reading it right) is the undesired doubling of trim after the button is pressed - What he terms "control whiplash". And while he won't get his lockon-style-trim wish, his main problems should be corrected with the addition of the upcoming patch. Until then he'll need to learn to recenter his control inputs quickly just like the rest of us... But I don't see any reason for snide sarcasm...Even GG, whose answers to "new-people-who-ask-for-unrealistic-things" on the forums are usually noticeably short and to the point (and always including a ;)) wasn't downright rude...

I don't think it was in the readme but several pages in they say that now you can have the server check certain files to make sure they haven't been tampered with when someone joins the server... -
He says he's above 150m so it shouldn't matter if he had the auto-hover on... @ Beesting: Try to duplicate your fault and post a track...

I just don't fly with rockets. Saves weight on something I don't normally use anyway and gives me more flying time...ATGMs and HE rounds are enough in my opinion. AP bullets are next to useless in this game as well...
