Agree! I still have my F-16 throttle but need some form of USB adapter. I really like that throttle even though I have the WH throttle I find the Cougar F-16 throttle very intuitive and having flown it for years in Falcon 4.0 it should work nicely in DCS.

You can get noise cancelling earbuds from Klipsch. They have other great earbuds without noise cancelling and I can tell you that they sound great - great bass. Right now, I use a 5.1 speaker system that suits my requirements.

I used to assign the command for lights off to one of the toggle switches via TARGET SCRIPT EDITOR. I would toggle them off before shutting down and toggle them on if I needed them. The commands are in the manual.

This is what I've been thinking. I want to check out the base it sits on for any changes. But, I guess it's possible to put a different gimbal design in the same base. Hmmmmm. Possibly a new throttle to be shown also? One can only hope. :)

You could have an issue with an inner cable being pinched/broken in the base. I recommend dismantle and look inside. There is a small spot where the cable comes through to the ball. Or . . . .possibly a disconnect in there. The X/Y axis in analogue so it is strange why digital keys are being pressed. Also, check if the stick has no issues where it mounts to the base. Remove and reset. That's all I can think of.
