  1. I think a MOD could move this thread to the Bug section. You could ask one via PM. Fox
  2. You are right. Unfortunately I can´t change the view of his track before it starts. But I checked my mission and it was set to MW. jfri, as Art-J suggested, check the following bindings to your hotas. It is actually not really necessary to have it on any button, as it is only set once, if at all, during a flight. Fox
  3. That was a DCS hiccup then
  4. Reference: Flight manual Fw 190 A-8 September 1944 Part 8B Bomb release system A 4. Armament Panel Our DCS Anton misses the SAM 77 FW 74 indicator unit (the 4 red lights) It should be located above the fusing selector box. This indicator unit would indicate if the bomb is attached or released. And according to the flight manual this indicator unit belongs to the whole bomb release system. Compare it with the Dora´s system. Anton: Dora Fox
  5. You´re welcome. In the configuration of the aircraft for this mission (MW50 in the additional tank), this switch has to be flipped to MW Stoff before engine start. So yes, flip it to MW Stoff as soon as you take controls. Don´t wait. Fox
  6. 3rd possibility aaaand probably easiest.... Set it in the units properties. Works only for units, not for statics Here: 50% probability to spawn on mission start
  7. With the latest Open Beta 2.5.5.39003 the unintentional CB pop offs (landing gear/arming/shooting weapons) seem to be fixed. Thanks Fox
  8. Okay, I checked your Track. It is not you fault. (I would recomment to not let the engine run at that low power setting for such a "long time", 5 Minutes+) Short version: Below the tail wheel lock lever is a switch. Flip it to "MW Stoff". Engine won´t die anymore. Long version: At first I thought it was spark plug fouling. So I took over the aircraft before the engine died. Throttle to Combat power, but still the engine died. So I restarted the replay, took over control immediately, went to combat power, but still - the engine died. I noticed that the engine was rough when applying emergency power and the MW50 indicator didn´t show any boot increase. So no MW50 for the engine despite the MW50 Switch in the on position(at mission start already). So I checked the "MW Stoff - Kraftstoff" switch and it was at "Kraftstoff" position. These switch positions are dangerous, especially in a training situation. Typically new K4-Pilots fly this mission. So I checked the mission itself and the additional tank was set to MW50. This means that the engine is running on MW50 till it is dies. If you flip this switch a moment before the engine dies, it won´t die and you can use the extra power; so the MW50 tank is not empty. 9. Irgendwie sehe ich da ne Horten Ho 229....
  10. Do you use a hotas? Have you set the throttle cut off to a switch which is unintentionally activated? Or a switch for the magnetos to off position? Fox
  11. Strange. I just tested it. Those bindings are not red and do work in the current OB(with todays update) on my pc. Fox
  12. Dogma? What? Dude, you can do what you want. Modify your files as you like. But you don't know if these modifications might lead to another problem, or you don't know if the problem is solved by ED later on. An engineer? Why then put in another possible source for a bug into the system. Shouldn't it be the other way around by reducing possible variables? Your bug reports are flaved, because you have a modified version of DCS now. And what is it that Moderators ask often? MODs installed? Again, feel free to do as you like. Fox
  13. Well, 5 minutes at a time means: Start stopwatch, move throttle to WEP position... before stopwatch exceedes 5 minutes, reduce throttle below WEP. Note the time you were in WEP range, report it to the mechanics. Inspection is needed. When 5h in total are used, then knock down mainanence is mandatory Thats how I understand it Fox
  14. It doesn´t say maintenance after 5 minutes WEP. Less than 5 minutes at a time, but not ONLY 5 minutes in total. Maintenance after 5 hours.
  15. Showstopper? I would have considered the landinggear CB pop off a showstopper for some people. But this one? So in the current Open Beta, instead of a very very very simple workaround, you both prefer to modify the game files? I don´t understand that. :surrender: This Bug appears only once, and only if both of the following criteria are met simultaneously: -Engine rpm above 2100 -Arming the weapons for the first time after entering the aircraft Fox
  16. But that doesn't help for MP and IC. Try to repair your DCS and then arm the weapons before starting the engine. Then report, if the CB still trips. I didn't have a cb trip since last update and arming before engine start/rpm below 2100. Fox
  17. Are you sure your brakes are released during touch down? Fox
  18. Yes, I reported this behaviour. While your engine RPM is higher than 2100 and you then arm the weapons for the first time, the Generator CB will pop out. Fox
  19. Fantastic. I posted before the .1 update update. And just arm your weapons before engine start, than the remaining problem won't bother you. Or reduce rpm below 2000 before switching the master arm. Fox
  20. Despite the change log entry: Not fixed in the current open beta. Fox
  21. I reported this two months ago, asked a mod about it, but it seems of no interest Its not the oil temperature, its not wether you are airborne or not. It is the engine rpm that triggers the generator cb to trip if you arm the weapons. Its case 1.2 in my report https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=248596 And the guns triggering the generator and battery cb are also in my report. What is this bug subsection for, if the reports are not read and not categorized? Fox
  22. Yesterday after about one hour all other player aircraft disappeared or remained at their last position. A few "hovering" aircraft remained stationary in 2 and 3 km altitude or on the runway. No other player aircraft were moving. But I got attacked by a invisible ghost aircraft. Fox
  23. No. There is no Asset pack unit used on BS. Fox
  24. Weta, you tend to be pessimistic. Why don't you try to be a little bit more optimistic. Do you really think that the W/B with the non Jumo engines is out if the limits? Don't think so. Flying to the limits? Why is that necessary? And asking for support costs only a little bit time and a few emails, to check if they can/want to help. And even the original Jumo engines are rebuild at a heritage foundation in the States. ED could get in contact with https://www.flugmuseum-messerschmitt.de (Well I hope they are already) I can offer my help for translation and help in communication (english-german) Fox
  25. Yes, its possible. After getting airborne, gain some height. Retract the landing gear and monitor the pins/gear indicator on the wings. As soon as the pin is nearly inside the wing, push the nose a bit down till you hear the gear locking up. With some training your initial height for this maneuver will get lower. And stay at or below 250km/h Fox
