Als nicht FB user bin ich trotzdem über diesen post gestolpert... Die Wolken sehen vielversprechend aus... https://www.facebook.com/eagle.dynamics/photos/a.10152231278930341/10162605164610341/?type=3&theater Fox

Unit that enters the triggerzone and action to this particular trigger-unit. Explanation: E.g. 2 Coalitions, 20 Client slots each. I want 15 Clients of those to get a message if one of these enters a particular zone, but only for the unit that entered this zone not for the others. Currently I have to make 2*15 triggers where I define this. With Condition: "unit enters triggerzone" / Trigger Zone A and Action: "triggerzone-entering unit" / Trigger Zone A it would reduce this to 2 triggers. Red Supercountry - all units and all skins available Blue Supercountry - all units and all skins available similar to USAF Aggressors import/export triggers more control of local weather no differentiation between sp and mp action, e.g increase weight imagine the face of a player in a MP environment when he/she enters a forbidden zone and the aircraft suddenly weights a few tons more... dynamic spawn points at airports like on carriers action: remove dead units/clear map Unit properties: TAS, show corresponding IAS next to it. DCS: Me 262 Discussion (Development on hold currently)
iFoxRomeo replied to NineLine's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
I think this is going to be the longest announced aircraft in DCS. The Kickstarter project launched 05.September 2013, that's more than 6years now. After the RRG desaster, mid 2014 ED took over the "plan" to develop this bird (among K4,Spitfire, P-47). I'm happy for that, don't get me wrong. People are waiting longer for this DCS bird than you are active on these forums. So "rush" in conjunction with this development does not fit here. As the development didn't even start yet, it's far away from rushed. Initially is was scheduled behind the P-47. But the P-47 is also already late. 3 years. It's like the real Me262. Early announced but then late to the theater of action. There is no discussion about DM, AI weather etc. improvements. We all want them. And you think there is no use for the 262 in the current DCS environment? Sorry you are wrong. Zius describes it perfectly. Of course more stuff is better. Fox -

DCS World Open Beta 2.5.5.37626 AI behaves different in the same mission, but different server-software type - Normal client software setup as server - Dedicated server software Simple mission setup: Northern flak group Group of 6x Flak 36 Average Group of 12x Flak 36 Average Southern flak group Group of 6x Flak 36 Excellent Group of 12x Flak 36 Excellent 4x Opel Blitz 6 Waves of 4x B-17 at different altitudes overflying flak 1. @ 6km 2. @ 5km 3. @ 6km 4. @ 4km 5. @ 6km 6. @ 3km Results: - Normal client software setup as server: Flak attacks Bombers as soon as they are in range. All waves - Dedicated server software Only excellent ai flak attacks all waves, but only after the bombers overflew them; last wave at 3km is attacked just before overflying the flak average AI attacks only last wave(3km alt) after overflight. Tracks are also included in the zips, but are useless for reviewing the dedicated server behaviour. As soon as you replay it on a client, the flak attacks again the bombers as soon as they are in range. Tacview shows the behaviour. Set terrain display mode to flat to see the flak in Tacview. It doesn't matter if you think this would be foolish. It is a limitation which is important for the pilot to know. Like the example with gun loading. And you should read my while posting and not pick the cherries. If this aircraft can be equipped with 2 additional guns, the whole system would probably break down with the pressing of the triggers. Fox
-
Grafspee, If the system was not able to handle the electrical load, this would have been noted in the Handbook(real, not ED). But it´s not. It is noted, that the system cannot cope with loading 6 guns at the same time. Hence you have to charge 4 guns, then the other 2. Now is the information, that the system cannot support firing of all guns at the same time for more than 4 seconds more important than the charging limit? And even more if you consider that this aircraft could be fitted with additionally 2 MG151/20. Makes a total of 8 Guns. Is this supposed to fire only 2 seconds before the CB trip? Fox
-
In the technical manual I've got it's a little bit different: Loading/charging the weapon; 0.8sec 8A-10A and 0.7sec 20-25A. But same for firing: 4A If I read that correctly, these values are per MG 151. The values you posted are from the EDSK-B device, Part 3 in the MG151, MG151/20 Handbook Fox

[REPORTED]Turboprop-Aircraft sound like Jet-Aircraft
iFoxRomeo replied to iFoxRomeo's topic in Sound Bugs
No problem mate  Thanks Kanstantsin! Fox -
No chance this is in any way a realistic recreation. Must be a bug. The outer wing cannons could be replaced by a double cannon arrangement of the same type. So instead of 2+4 it could be equipped with 2+6. And the real Flightmanual doesn't say anything about maximum burst time. You can not reload all 6 guns at once, hence the additional little switch, but no burst limit. Such a vital information would have been in the manual. Thanks fjacobsen Fox

A comprehensive bug report on Polychop’s Gazelle
iFoxRomeo replied to Krippz's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Viel Erfolg! Fox -
Erich said in the video that they avoided using WEP. Just because they were afraid of getting engine problems. He didn´t say they never used it. When they used WEP they tried to use it for a short amount of time only. After a longer flight with WEP they told the mechanics about it so they would check the oil filter, but Erich said that they were wondering about the bearings in the Dora´s engine, because they had no problems with them. This picture is supposed to be inside Germany. Magdeburg, middle-germany https://www.worldwarphotos.info/gallery/germany/1944-1945/9th-army-30th-inf-div-and-2nd-armored-division-tracked-vehicles-magdeburg-germany-1945/ Or Berlin https://www.worldwarphotos.info/gallery/germany/1944-1945/ruins-of-berliner-dom-stadtschloss-lustgarten-willys-mb-jeep-1945/ And this is from the ED screenshot What I really like in this screenshot is the fact that the trees are not GIGANTIC, so the sense of height will be realistic, not like in the Casucasus map. And they seem to be not so repetetive(pressing thumbs) Fox

You won´t find this watertower on the current Normandy map. The Powerpylons are also different.... Well, I´m ready. ED you can release the Map, the Jug, the Swallow, the Mosquito and all the other assets for WWII now :music_whistling: Fox
