Wake turbulence is a result of lift, but read, what the faa has to say about this. Turbulences caused by e.g. wind and/or orology is a different case. Well, you could simply create a mission where the only units are bombers and they are 10km away from their dropping point. Just to test the settings... ctrl+y and shift+y is your friend for time manipulation. Fox

The engine damage model is still missing. You can fly on emergency power till your fuel is empty. No overheat and no over rev damage. And unfortunately still no increased boost available. Only bomb is the 250kg bomb. No additional MG 151/20E. There was a loadout option for the real Anton where you could add 2 additional MG 151/20E. Some minor electrical problems, but no showstopper here anymore. Fox

Your track shows that your "Kühlerklappen" get a closing command after approx.15 seconds. After that the temps rise and kill the engine. Check your key- and axis-binding while you are in that mission. Fox

As matters now stand, the only organization which will use Grade 100/150 on the Continent is the 2nd Tactical Air Force. General Spaatz has decided that the U.S. Air Forces on the Continent will not use this fuel either in whole or part. This decision was based on maintenance and distribution difficulties." Despite that, I think this fuel should be available as an option so that mission makers can decide on that for all current and future aircraft. Fox

Mustang thanks! My impression is that it smoothens DCS a bit in VR. But I have no fps gains. BUT! Old games like BF3 run tremendously better. It suffered from fps up and downs. Changed between 70 -140 every second. Now stable 150 or more. Fox

Although this track does not 100% reproduce, what happend while I was testing it, it shows the engine "running" with the throttle in stop position. Fox

Dann gehör ich mal zu einem der 10. Es ist nicht schwer. Aber man muss voll dabei sein. Deine Argumentation bzgl. der Flugschüler zieht nicht. Erstens wurden die nicht einfach in den Flieger gesetzt und losgelassen und zweitens ist es natürlich ein Unterschied, ob man in der echten Maschine sitzt, oder im Simulator. Üb mit dem Flieger zu rollen, um das rollverhalten kennen zu lernen. Dann schau dir paar Videos an. zum Rollen im Flug: Trimmst du dein Ruder aus? Dieser Flieger eignet sich nicht zum Hands off fliegen. Die Normandy Map ist schlecht. Schlechte Performance; Gulf of Oman läuft besser, ist aber 10x grösser. Bodentexturen sind murks. Aber es wurde angekündigt, dass die Map nochmal angefasst wird. Hoffen wir mal, dass es besser wird. Die B-17 wird auch von Geisterbesatzungen geflogen. Da ist room for improvement. Trotzdem machts Spass und ist herausfordernd eine Bomberformation anzugreifen. Fox

Pushing in all CBs, the pitot heat and landing gear light extinguishes after 4:30 to 5:30 minutes. Even if you disconnect the pitot heat CB(thus switching it off) this function stops to work after the aforementioned time. Before that time elapses you can push in the pitot cb and see that it lights up, then disconnect it again. But even switching off pitot CB, after that time the light won't go on anymore with the pitot CB pushed in. But it is somehow connected to the Battery CB. If you disconnect the Battery CB after startup, the pitot heat and landinggear light extinguishes, but it won't get "damaged". So even after 10 minutes you can push the battery CB in (pitot CB can remain pushed in all the time) and the pitot light will light up. I have the impression that the accumulated "ON" time of the Battery is causing the problem. But I have to test it more to confirm that. Fox

Jetzt seh ich es erst. Du hast ja eine Reverb. Wie kann man regulär die IPD verstellen? Welcher Bereich wird angezeigt? Fox

Wenn sie ankommt, werde ich berichten. Aber aktuell suche ich noch nach Infos bzgl. der Softwareverstellung der IPD. Ich hab Einstellbereiche von 63 +/-8mm gelesen, aber nirgends, dass das auch jemand verstellt hat. Vielleicht kann ja Kaltokri da nachschauen. Fox

Meine IPD liegt bei 68.5mm. Bin deshalb auch nicht ganz sicher. Aber werd wohl nächste Woche bestellen. Und wenns nicht passt, geht sie zurück. Hier bei mir gibts keine Möglichkeit die Brille vorher mal zu testen. Aber genau um sicher zu sein, dass es die V2 ist, werd ich wohl auch beim HP store bestellen. Ich hatte irgendwo gelesen, dass die Consumer Version 499.- kostet, aber HP hat den Preis wohl wieder angehoben. Aber aktuell lohnt sich die Pro ehr bei der Differenz. Fox
