  1. They have too, and they also have large Youtube following - because they review DCS World products, and provide all kinds of useful content. If you do the same, you too may become one of the privileged few.
  2. I think once I have got to the shops, I won't be buying female hygiene products. I have my reasons!
  3. True, we can't possibly argue with that. I am buying some toilet paper tomorrow. :music_whistling: :music_whistling: :music_whistling:
  4. Not buying because you feel something is missing is your prerogative. Why do you need to tell everyone that? Frankly, we're not interested in what you do or don't want, or whether or not you'll be buying anything. If you have an observation however, the team at ED will be watching all the posts on this forum, so, minus tantrums or emotive baggage, let them know, and they will add it to their extensive research database. Frankly though, you're going to be missing out on a very nice looking map. Your loss, and it won't change a damned thing, so why be so petty?
  5. When you catch a wire go to full power until you come to a stop, then close the throttle. The hook will drag you backwards at first, then when you come to a stop, raise the hook, fold your wings and taxi out of the landing box.
  6. It hasn’t been released yet. Don’t panic just yet.
  7. I think what you are referring to is called an email. Just send the enquiry to the developers while completely bypassing the forum In it’s entirety. Any other problems you need any assistance with, please, don’t hesitate to ask. :music_whistling::music_whistling::music_whistling:
  8. Wrong. There has been news about forthcoming features for the F/A-18C in a developments calendar which the CEO of ED took time out to communicate the forecast for developments. That was less than a month ago. And if you knew anything about software development, you would know promises mean nothing without a crystal ball to discover all the unexpected bugs well in advance of not expecting them. So all in all, a pretty futile gesture.
  9. Well, get to it man! I’ll buy all your products. What are you calling your new software house, so I know what to search for- in say - 10 years maybe?:thumbup::thumbup:
  10. It is strange how important features of a primitive mechanism can upset people. I can understand the frustration of course, but sometimes being philosophical about these things matters. Can you argue that this is the best ever simulation of this icon? I guess being served up less taxing products elsewhere spoils us somewhat?
  11. What software purchase with terms and conditions doesn’t state that refunds will not be made? The issue that makes all software purchases one way, with no refund possible is the fact that intellectual rights override consumer rights. That means that when you take delivery of software, you have received access to intellectual property which cannot then be given back. Hence the clause, which courts will not overturn. We haven’t received any software? No, but you have entered into the agreement, and you accepted those terms. Good luck getting anything refunded through the courts!
  12. They did. But no one ever reads the terms EVERYONE has to agree to when making a purchase. They also give everyone who engages in pre-release purchases a 20% discount. But let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good tirade! Another simple fact is that we all winge when stuff comes out bugged. So they are trying to accede to our demands, and delaying the release until they are satisfied it is in a good enough state to justify it. Which do you want? Bugs, or timely releases? You can’t have it both ways.
  13. Just wrong. There is always a discount on pre-purchases. Get your facts straight please.
  14. Well said chevvyrules. And it might also be a good idea not to complain before a release announcement or delay announcement has been made. I suppose if all you have to complain about is the Carrier, things can’t be too bad for you. So some comfort from that, even if you are acting like the end of the world is nigh! Remember, for many around the world there really is something g to complain about!
  15. Sounds to me like you have a borked copy of DCS World. Time for a completely fresh install perhaps? I have not had a single issue of it hanging on loading. Remember to clear the saved games folder too when you do it. Or at least, back it up, so you can try a completely virgin version and then re-add stuff later.
  16. As stated already, the weight board is a safety check. You must know you aircraft weight. The board shows what data the cat controller has used to set the cat. If the weights do not agree you are in for an early bath. What it certainly doesn’t do is tell the pilot how heavy his jet is!
  17. Is it possible to run 2 versions of SRS Server on the same server? Our system is configured to run 2 separate servers, and it would be an advantage to have a version of SRS exclusive to each. If it can be done, how do we configure them both?
  18. Very good. Solid build, and well designed. The software is a bit unfriendly, but when you know how to use it, no difficulties either.
  19. Does anyone still try to update with mods still installed? Amazing!
  20. Simple. Get more hard drive space by deleting some unwanted stuff, ot get your wallet out and buy a bigger SSD drive! :music_whistling: :music_whistling: :music_whistling:
  21. There’s a carrier which can provide a late night meal?
