  1. And if you line up perpendicular and lay down a string of 4 bombs with 100 feet of separation, you can also get the armor in the parking lot on the same run in...
  2. You can do it with the same dumb bomb, but dropping them AUTO with TGP on.
  3. As G B wrote sometimes back: anything is allowed for you to do that makes you commencing at push time. You don't need to make 2 min turns with accuracy to a second. For instance I always make 30° degrees turn and watch the clock, how much does it to take a 180° or 360° first. Before starting the next turn at holding DME, I look at the clock for the time to go, and deduct the time of two 180° which gives you the time you have for the two straight legs. So start the "last" racetrack, fly a 180° turn, fly downwind as calculated for the straight leg, or rather a bit shorter to correct for ship travel, and then turn back another 180° and watch the DME counting down to your distance of commencing, and follow the clock. Then you can play a little with the speed to commence on time.
  4. Area still covered with forest. Nothing seemed to have changed since the OP, July 2019...
  5. Break turn should be level at 800 feet.
  6. Actually it should not, as the HMD symbols are also focused to infinity. It just a bit strange at first, but if you just look ahead naturally, your brain will adjust and overlap the HMD image with the outside picture.
  7. Try to drop the flaps only at 180-190 kts. Below this speed, your nose will drop, above this, you will balloon as you described. Test it for a sweet spot.
  8. Maybe because he has done it himself in the cockpit? :megalol: Zing?
  9. How do you use it in VR?
  10. There is a "Search" function in most forums. Using it before asking is a form of respect to other forum users. Just my 2 cents...
  11. Oh, my bad, thanks. (And I'm one who can rant if someone doesn't read the manual before asking here... ?) :D
  12. And what is then TX4, for that matter?
  13. What does TX5 (and TX6) do? I mean in any plane is 3 "normal" (uncrypted) radio anyways?
  14. Already posted several times here...
  15. Hi, thanks for a quick reply. Disable menus box is not checked in VAICOM. I just want for instance have Ground Crew connect air and aux electricity or change weapons. How should I do that then? I tought I need to bring up comms menu (not COMMS1 and not COMMS2). Wrong?
  16. Hi Guys, in any modul - now testing the F-14 happened again - even if I assign comms menu to the TM HW throttle 4-way thumb switch, when I press it to bring up the Comms menu, nothing comes up. Moreover I need to press the key "" itself at least twice to bring it up. In the F-18, samee thin with 2 positions of the 4-way thumb switch. FWD Comms1 - nothing, Down - Comms 2 - nothing, BACK - Comms menu appearing. After this, COMMS menu also comes up to FWD and DOWN again, as if nothing happened. What am I missing? THX
  17. I played my first Flight Sim first on a Sinclair ZX-81, but when I find a new sim with an unknown term, I look up the availanle manuals right away (official or 3rd party docs) and do a word search on it. It helps on 99% of cases. :smilewink:
  18. Taxi quicker so you will have more time at hold short until he catches up.
  19. Some more bugs in the tutorials I found while testing today: A/A gun tutorial doesn't start with active pause on. When you press trigger as requested, the gun starts firing. Active pause assignment is different (maybe LAlt+LCtrl+Win, I'm not sure, but not ther trigger for sure) No targets in any A/A tutorial, but that's been said earlier here. Gun smoke stays aircraft stabilized, as you would push your own gun smoke in front of you until dissipating, still ahead of you. A/G tutorial: bombs are hanging in the air under the belly of the aircraft, no racks visible. Some of the text pop-ups are very complicated and very long at the same time (half a screen down), by the time you even just read it, text disappears, no way to comprehend every information heard and read. Would be better to have it in smaller bites after one another. Especially for the AWG-9 procedureal tutorials. Couldn't we just have the text up until pressing Space to proceed? Thanks
  20. Point track enables it too. Just depress press TDC and voilá
  21. No. Only if you assign the DDI range pushbuttons.
  22. :megalol: LMAO
  23. Are you sure the reason is not the LTD/R switch recently flipping to off after the first attack?
  24. Did you check your Controls / Axis command / Throttle axis (or left and right throttle if you have both), if the white feedback lines at the bottom of the text box goes from one end to the other full extent, if you throw your physical throttles up and down to full extent?
  25. Guys, with all this freakin bugs around (blind radar as far as I can remember the worst), is it worth to even start up any mission nowadays?
