  1. Not sure if you are referring to my track - but it was intended to show the 'no response' by the ground crew when canopy closed. Regardless of the request - you get the same result with a re-arming request etc. I couldn't care less if they fit the chocks or not.
  2. Also just a quick response to the few who have mentioned how hard it is to spot stuff in VR. A new Zoom function has just been released in DCS called Spyglass Zoom which pretty much doubles (or more?) the zoom of the 'normal' VR Zoom. In the UI Layer section. So yea more than enough to see stuff at 20,000'
  3. Hi - no I don't use unlimited ammo. All other effects are working ok. Edit: I just tried a SSA DCS Repair Export - gun effects are loud and proud. Thanks f4l0!
  4. Already there - 3 options for Air Refuel Switch. Just to pipggyback on this thread - is it possible to increase the speed of the rotary dials? I have a lot of rotaries mapped to rotary encoders and to get 1 click of the in-cockpit switch takes about 4-5 clicks of your actual dial. Makes turning things like the lights, HSI heading, volumes etc super painful and slow!
  5. I don't use easy comms either. Quik Track I just did illustrating the issue trying the Hot Mic switch and intercom at full volume. Pretty straight forward - no reply with canopy closed. (forgive the mucking around resetting my headset at the start) NoReply.trk
  6. Yeah I managed to track it down eventually. Profile is working great - unfortunately no gatling gun fire effect thou :(
  7. +1 here also. Not sure why this is marked No Bug?
  8. Depending on how you have the command mapped - you just re-select DF mode and it will cancel it. Same with MRM mode. IRL you just move the switch back to the center position - which you can also map if you have a 3-position switch. Either that or just map the Cancel command to a seperate button (I prefer the re-select option) :)
  9. Yeah I was just trying to highlight - those toggle switches have nothing to do with the RWR lol. Including the three to the left. Yea - the square RWR PWR button is kinda obvious, and also on for me - still no RWR tones
  10. Having no problems with the pod and release cue etc. if I set a Point track with TMS Up located by a SP. But if I TMS Up to an Area track, as soon as the weapon releases the POD slews away from the spot and obviously you can't lase it anymore. Also cheers Harli will try the TMS Down to re-center the pod - was wondering about that, was trying to use UNCAGE etc.
  11. You mean the 4 expendables selector switches that enable each expendable type to be used by the CMDS, next to the RWR Source switch which enables RWR inputs to be used by the CMDS.. Check my track, mate. Interesting, I don't own the Hornet module. Some shared sound files perhaps?
  12. On the CMS panel? I believe they are enabling inputs to the CMS dispensing system. Also not getting any RWS sound here - CMS panel toggle switches on, Threat dial all the way up. Edit: Added a quick and dirty track using my SEAD training mission and my desktop client and keyboard. RWR.trk
  13. Awesome to hear the F-16 has been added....but umm any way to actually update? No auto check/update going on here. I downloaded the SSA setup file form the blog download section, but running it just loads current install of SSA, not a setup process. Also there is no update option in the software.
  14. Man I wish the sidewinders in DCS did that snake path off the rail - looks sweet
  15. Sorry not the best pic, trying to hold headset in right position and reach over to keyboard to hit prtscrn - but you get the idea. Moving your head around and you can see through to the rudder mechanism etc behind.
  16. Yeah - I had to unmap it from my rotary dial and use buttons instead.
  17. +1 No joy with AAR, same results as above on multiple tries. No ext tanks fitted.
  18. ED, great job on the Viper! Plenty of work still to be done but is still good to have early access to fly it. You may like to consider modelling in a backing panel to the center console, or at the very least for the Altimeter. Currently you can see straight through to the rudder mechanism between the gaps around every digit on the altimeter. Super obvious in VR.
  19. + for me. Also you cannot select stations on the S-J page
  20. Hmm ok , thanks Panther - I may need to tweak my in-game IPD setting to increase game world scale a bit then. May I ask what PD setting you are using? I am on 1.5 and all the panels are fine, I do need to lean in a little to perfectly make out say the info by a locked target. But can read the SMS page for example from normal position. Do you wear glasses? I am longsighted but have prescription inserts.
  21. Yeah agree - my screenshot is from my desktop version of DCS just using keyboard to fly it. Exact same result as using my throttle. Of note the 3D throttle in the cockpit is fully forward also.
  22. I have the TM MFD frames mounted in front of me and use VR and they work perfectly. A little muscle memory and some positional aids (I have little squares of foam on inside of each side adjacent the middle button on each row to orient my hand/finger). I also have an ICP keypad setup in front of me in the middle also that I use in VR, along with 2 button boxes on each side of the MFD's - all a piece of cake to use in VR. Once you try VR you won't want to fly any other way - just IMHO.
  23. Not having any trouble reading stuff in the Rift S. MFDs are some of the toughest to see clearly of all my DCS aircraft thou. but they are pretty tiny. I did have a query - what are your thoughts on the 3D seat pan/cushion height? I use an Obutto rig so have the backrest reclined to match the 3D model, but the seat cushion seems really high, like belly-button high! - if I raise my seat so it matches my RL seat cushion height I am looking over the top of the HUD big time?
