  1. Even if you don't own them, that just mean that you can't pilot them, but you can still use them as AI units on your missions, to play as opposition or allied units. Just consider it for a bit: for example just the Phantom has 72 liveries ... you think that having 72 checkboxes would be practical? ... another example, the F-14 has 67 liveries, the F-16C has 51, and so on ... honestly, having to select which I want and which I don't would be really tedious, I'd rather select all of them and just consider a disk with 55 GB of extra space.
  2. Unfortunately, the developers have not released it yet
  3. Great Mod, I now have enough free time to try it out. A small bug report: I noticed that the Mod includes a Ladder as static object, its type is VSN F104 Crewladder, so I tried it out but found that its textures are missing ... perhaps they are on one of the other F-104 mods?
  4. Sadly, my prior statement is not true .. the battery still dies at around 15 minutes into the mission, as shown on this video (note the cockpit lights go out at around 15:00) And even tough Ground power is connected, it seems to not power all systems, I stop the mission when I realize that the radios are not powered. Guess I could redesign the mission around a Corsair with the engine already on, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth it, so I decided to shelve this mission until M3 fixes this bug Eduardo
  5. the only way to reach that size is by having at least 5-6 maps and quite a few aircraft modules, how many us$ is their worth? Really you can’t afford a larger drive?
  6. While editing a cockpit familiarization mission, I became aware that the battery run out after 15 minutes of operation when the main engine is off. The manual of the real aircraft says that the endurance should be at least half hour (mentioned on the Generator failure section). If I connect external electric power, then the battery does not run out, however, the aircraft seems unable to operate with just Ground Power, the battery switch has to be at ON at all times. This does not correspond to what the manual of the real aircraft says: "Power may be supplied by one of three sources: the 75A Generator, the 24V 17 Ah battery, or the external power receptacle".
  7. Hi, thanks for the tip, however I only employ the LUA Console of the DCS-BIOS software, and that component seems to be working with no issues, my latest Module (the F-4U) is recognized. Perhaps other parts of the DCS-BIOS don't work nowadays, but for my needs I will keep using it until it actually does not work anylonger.
  8. you are welcome, but what was the cause of the problem? So that we can better help other users ?
  9. Can you show exactly where did you placed the mod's files? ... mine are here (my DCS folder at saved games is actually called "DCS.296"):
  10. he seemed aware of the resistance against this idea, so I guess he is an older user which created a new fake account just to re-insist with his proposal.
  11. but did you leave the old copy within the DCS Program folder? A user mod aircraft should be placed only at /saved games/dcs world/mods/aircraft … it can’t also be within the dcs world program folder.
  12. seems you placed it within the dcs program folder, instead of at saved games.
  13. It has no official campaigns, but the MB-339 has an unofficial free campaign set there: If you don't like to create your own missions, maybe the Kola Map would be a better fit for you, it has some resemblance since it's made by the same map developer. I own both maps and have enjoyed them a lot, but Kola seems much more popular and therefore has more content available (including a couple of official Campaigns).
  14. have you excluded the dcs folder from antivirus action? Its periodic scanning may be interfering with dcs
  15. its a dcs developer tool not available to the public.
  16. This is the DCS-BIOS Lua Console that I've for my DCS, and runs fine on latest DCS, but I couldn't get it to work back when I had DCS on a custom path ... however it works fine now that I have DCS on its default path (at /Program Files): When I run it, its console says DCS-BIOS Version: v0.10.0+64, but the install package says v0.8.1.
  17. my english level is lacking, don’t understand what you mean. it seemed relevant, as you were affirming that "barley does over 200 mph, even stripped down with no fuel." … so I was just pointing out the incongruence I did post a video, no interest in proving anything more than the fact the aircraft does fly faster than 200mph
  18. not exactly, as there are many aircraft that don’t use that function. This is my server.lua if you want to see an example: https://1drv.ms/u/c/ba8d40d87db99c2e/ES6cuX3YQI0ggLq4BQIAAAABFLFIfrjOm0HeAJa2kSS0wg
  19. Server.lua, but must be used as template and copied to saved games/dcs/config … do not modify the template
  20. Thanks a lot, looking forward to them I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your DC-9 jetliner, I use it for cold war missions as its more appropiate than the more modern Airbus series. Cheers Eduardo
  21. That's why I mostly fly a single type at a time, for several months until the urge to fly something else kicks in
  22. it does 280 mph on this race:
  23. On my case, I’m dedicated to learning the Corsair at Marianas ww2, and afterwards I’d like to return to the Viggen to fly this campaign:
