Hello all, As promised, today I added another mission to this Training set, this time on using all three variants of the swedish version of the Sidewinder infra-red guided missile, on Air-Air interceptions: Next one will be a Training mission about the employment of the Viggen defensive systems. Strange, I use Bana all the time and have no problem with the waypoints that I have set for the mission … this is a recent video I recorded at Nevada, and Bana worked there: However, I have not tested it at Syria

Hi, Thanks a lot for clarifying this, as I had the same doubt myself. Also thanks for the swiss skins, as I was not aware of them. I'm currently fully immersed on the Viggen, but as soon as I've got enough free time, I will try to update my old training missions to make them compatible with the latest T-45, including your scripts. Me too, I usually purchase almost every new item that is released for DCS, but after this RB situation I have skipped the Afghanistan map (in spite of its good pricing) and now also skipped on the CH-47. Well, I wasn't flying any of the RB aircrafts since the last couple of months I have been dedicated to the Viggen, but I do use the South Atlantic Map a lot ... so, until these modules actually stop working, I'm not deleting them yet.

You are welcome, but rather than disable the whole antivirus, you can set on its configuration an exclusion for the DCS folder path, this way the AV still monitors the rest of your disk.

Most likely an Antivirus action, check your AV logs to confirm if it is preventing access to any DCS files

This is a bug reports thread and the C-101 is a mature module, so I guess it is a good sign that there is little activity on it I see items for the C-101 on the last DCS update: "DCS: C-101 Aviojet by AvioDev General: Rear pilot is now not present in the Mission Editor preview window (basically in payload dialog) when the 'Solo Flight' option is selected. COMM1 and COMM2 are automatically audible and on when you have a hot air or ground start. Parking brakes are set on ground by default. ADI is on MFDL and HSI is on MFDR by default on a hot start. Antiskid is on by default for a hot start. ILS is on and tuned to 110.30 Batumi ILS. TACAN is on and tuned to 72X. I have not seen any DCS option that would allow us to set a custom path for the Screen Captures, but you can use a Windows Folder Junction to relocate the default folder wherever you want. Here is more info: https://ss64.com/nt/mklink.html The variant to use, for DCS, is MKLINK /J

True, but there are not many surveys on the subject and all are prone to have the same type of bias … so, in absence of hard data, it is the only glimpse we can have on the DCS market.

I enjoy both modules too, but once I have my custom kneeboard ready (I write them using MS Word, then save as PDF), I then use the DCS Module manager to remove both DLC, then exit DCS, run Kneeboard Builder and generate the Kneeboard using another aircraft as stand-in, then exit KB, manually move the generated png files onto the correct aircraft's Kneeboard, restart DCS and install those DLC again. I agree, its a nuisance, but fortunately I edit my kneeboards infrequently, so it's ok for now ... here I have the Gazelle, with my custom KB:

Do you have the Gazelle or the MB 339? .. I had to delete both in order to get KB to run.

I try to do the same, opening a Forum thread everytime I post a new Mission file, but somehow it seems many users dont bother to actually read the file description Please ED, enable e-mail notifications for the User File section (Forum messages won't work because many of us have different accounts for the User File section than for the Forum).

Just checked, and in spite of it being a 5-year old mod, it still works on latest DCS 2.9 No idea why it doesn't work on your case.

I think that using the same key for two tasks is inherently complex, it would be simpler to use backspace to show the message and then spacebar to hide it.

check your antivirus logs, to make sure that it is not preventing access to that file.

My understanding is that VSN is a team and each aircraft is created by different individuals, so the A-6 has one main developer, the F-4B another, and so on. Seems to me that the vsn developer behind the Mirage has real life commitments that have delayed this project … I don’t believe that the progress reports were meant to be a joke, or to be cruel with the users. These Mods are provided for free, so I’m happy to use whichever one is released and don’t get frustrated with those that are not released yet.

Honestly, my first thought was "of course not!" ... but when I went to take a screengrab I was shocked to see that ... yes, I do run it as admin ... honestly, don't know why I do ... probably was trying to fix an issue so long ago that now I can't remember what it was I believe that DCS should run just fine as a regular user, I will test it when I have some more free time.
