  1. but did you leave the old copy within the DCS Program folder? A user mod aircraft should be placed only at /saved games/dcs world/mods/aircraft … it can’t also be within the dcs world program folder.
  2. seems you placed it within the dcs program folder, instead of at saved games.
  3. It has no official campaigns, but the MB-339 has an unofficial free campaign set there: If you don't like to create your own missions, maybe the Kola Map would be a better fit for you, it has some resemblance since it's made by the same map developer. I own both maps and have enjoyed them a lot, but Kola seems much more popular and therefore has more content available (including a couple of official Campaigns).
  4. have you excluded the dcs folder from antivirus action? Its periodic scanning may be interfering with dcs
  5. its a dcs developer tool not available to the public.
  6. This is the DCS-BIOS Lua Console that I've for my DCS, and runs fine on latest DCS, but I couldn't get it to work back when I had DCS on a custom path ... however it works fine now that I have DCS on its default path (at /Program Files): When I run it, its console says DCS-BIOS Version: v0.10.0+64, but the install package says v0.8.1.
  7. my english level is lacking, don’t understand what you mean. it seemed relevant, as you were affirming that "barley does over 200 mph, even stripped down with no fuel." … so I was just pointing out the incongruence I did post a video, no interest in proving anything more than the fact the aircraft does fly faster than 200mph
  8. not exactly, as there are many aircraft that don’t use that function. This is my server.lua if you want to see an example: https://1drv.ms/u/c/ba8d40d87db99c2e/ES6cuX3YQI0ggLq4BQIAAAABFLFIfrjOm0HeAJa2kSS0wg
  9. Server.lua, but must be used as template and copied to saved games/dcs/config … do not modify the template
  10. Thanks a lot, looking forward to them I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your DC-9 jetliner, I use it for cold war missions as its more appropiate than the more modern Airbus series. Cheers Eduardo
  11. That's why I mostly fly a single type at a time, for several months until the urge to fly something else kicks in
  12. it does 280 mph on this race:
  13. On my case, I’m dedicated to learning the Corsair at Marianas ww2, and afterwards I’d like to return to the Viggen to fly this campaign:
  14. Or save the Group as a Group Template, so you can use it on other missions as well.
  15. Hi, thanks for the bug report, I will check if a recent Viggen or DCS update has bugged the mission. I will check it tonight and then I will get back to you. Regards, Eduardo
  16. Kb/s ? No wonder it takes 20 hours, I’m lucky to have broadband:
  17. you are right, I do lose a lot of time on this Forum, I will try to refrain from this a bit and focus on my flying time instead
  18. agree, but I also wonder if keeping users that spread misinformation on this forum, isn’t actually making prospective new users avoid trying out DCS on the first place
  19. One cant help but wonder, after reading a thread like this, why you play DCS if the experience is so bad?
  20. He was just trying to help you, no need to be rude. a repair does not take 2 days, it just check every file of your dcs install looking for any missing or non-correct files, and re-downloads only those files. moving the input folder of your aircraft is just a way to force dcs to return to a default control bindings status, while keeping the ability to return to your prior config just by moving the folder back. the dcs.log file provides a lot of data about your dcs which can help diagnose the problem.
  21. Most real female gamers that I've met, prefer to use non-femenine Nicknames and avatar pictures, to avoid unwanted male attention, so my hunch is that this one is probably not female ... maybe a male still in the closet?
  22. ok, I use a pretty old VPC rudder pedals set and with that the OV-10 taxis pretty easily once a bit of practice, I can even turn it on itself inside a hangar, like this: perhaps you could purchase a used set online ( as they can be pretty expensive if purchased brand new) ? Eduardo
  23. Just checked, and the Mod seems to have the binding you need: but I haven't tested it personally.
