To be honest I didn´t feel a difference between rubber and the teflon ring. What I did is to grease the Warthog which helped to get rid of the stickiness I had before. But this was a year ago and the stickiness is there again, much less, but I can feel it. I hope this helps. Edit: Move rubber above a surface and compare it with teflon. Teflon runs much smoother so this shouldn´t have any negative effect.

What I learned about the rubber ring is: DO NOT REMOVE IT! Only if you have an adequate replacement in form of a PTFE ring. I did so at mine and it works great. Remove it completely should lead to issues (wear) over the time. This is not based on my own experience but I found threads about it here at ED forum. I got my PTFE ring from "Hempstead" here in the forums. Just PM him and you get one for a fair price. Last time I gave this hint he was still doing them. Xoxen

I also have a look at the new cards to fire up my system. When it comes to a very frequented region I already had situations with lower FPS. But generally the 30 FPS are enough for a non VR system and I will wait for some more information about the new cards before I spend 800 Euros.....

Hi Falcon, I´m running 3x27" WQHD displays with a resolution of 7680x1440. At one screen only my FPS are in the 80-90s, with all 3 I´m at appr. 40-45. Additionally I´m exporting the MFCDs to small displays which cost me appr. 10 FPS ending up at 30-35 depending on traffic and terrain. My specs are in the signature and my settings are quite high (mostly high, some at med) except of shadow (flat) and MSAA (off). If needed I can post them when I´m at home. Hope this helps. Xoxen

Great development. Unfortunately I sold mine. But I have great respect for people like you helping others with cool things like this. Great.

Stick full left and throttle at full power at warm start
xoxen replied to xoxen's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
I just unhooked the sync option and now it seems to work. Strange but many thanks for the quite easy advice. Maybe unhooking and/or re-hooking does change it. Quite sure it does ;) Xoxen -
Stick full left and throttle at full power at warm start
xoxen replied to xoxen's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Thanks, will give it a try as I didn´t check this so far.....I will post the outcome tonight or tomorrow, depending on time. -
Hi folks, as title says I have an issue when entering the cockpit into a hot machine. Independent on MP or SP when unpause the game the Hornet gives full throttle and a full left roll, in the air as well as on the ground. The stick is physically centered and the throttle at idle. Moving them fast to the opposite directions (stick right and throttle forth and back) gets them to work again. In the settings the synchronization at game start is active. I have no clue what´s wrong, but it is not only me, a flight mate has the same behavior (his new call sign is "Scrap Dog" because of this). If anyone has an idea how to fix this please tell me, otherwise this might be a bug. I didn´t find anything in this direction in this sub-forum. Normally I´m doing cold starts anyway but at a quick landing practice etc. this is kind of a show stopper for me, especially if at low altitude. I´m running the newest openbeta on Win 10 HE 64bit. My specs are in the signature. If you need a track please let me know. Actually I have no access but time to write. Thanks, Xoxen

Hi, it's not UK but check out the threads by Hempstead. I PM'd him and got a nice ring for a reasonable price. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95575&page=2

There is a good installation guide from Delta. Untighten the srews, unplug a plug is the easy task. To unmount the old slew is the major task but also not that hard. The installation of the new one is easy again. Take care not to overtighten the 4 small screws and not damaging cables when tighten the screws of the throttle is important but not that much of a challenge.

The analogue slew has it still included. There are worlds between stock and this mod. Xoxen

Tried to create a Mod for it and it works like charm. Thanks for the advice. -

Thanks. Sounds easy but I didn't create an own one so far. I will give it a try. I use OVGME but should be similar, right? I simply need to use the correct folder structure?! Xoxen -

Is this the only way to do so? After every update I have to redo and it´ll be more practical to have it like the DDI/MFCD´s in the monitor setup only. Maybe we simply have to wait..... -
I own the analogue stick as well and the feeling is comparable with the one of the Cougar for the one who owned it as well. For me the force to move it is reasonably good and the only idea I had was to use something to seal the ministick's inside. But I have a dust cover for my Hotas so it might not be necessary. The stucking which was reported here and there was not existant for me slewing the radar of the Hornet so my problem at the TGP most probably was auto locking of targets/objects. I used the square hole and it feels right for me. Again, it is a huge improvement over the standard slew. Xoxen

I also received my analog slew now. I´m really impressed on the difference it makes. Slewing the TGP in the A-10C is really much much better than before. Deadly precise. I also had the feeling the stick get´s stuck here and then when movin the TGP to the left side. But I was not really able to double check this if the TGP spotted something and got stuck because of this. I will watch this closer and reset the throttle if I find it to be the slew itself. Thanks Delta for the great work you did. This is what I wanted badly for years already. The Warthog should have had this from stock. Keep up your good work to suport the community in such a good way. Didn´t receive any mail so far. Will there be several deliveries within the first batch? Just curious, no hurry.

Please check if the axes have double assignment, happens to me at all new modules. I would delete all axis and assign them by yourself to sort out problems like this.

Thanks for the update. Seeing it on the picture already makes it even harder to wait. Patience young Padawan, patience :music_whistling: :smilewink:

If you have exported the MFCDs like in the A-10C it seems like the DDIs stay black. I kicked the MFCD export out of my config and now it works fine. My 3 Display setup is still working like in the other modules. Xoxen

So did I, same result
