  1. I voted for AH1 and AH64, but my #1 choice would be to have all of the current modules completed and the bugs fixed before any other modules are produced.
  2. No offence, but we cant even simulate an accurate ATC with the current system, so how do you expect everything you just said to become a reality? For many years ED has been locked into releasing incomplete modules in "Early Access" to keep the money flowing. This ultimately ends up preventing core features from being completed, bugs from being fixed, and the "Early Access" modules are forever stuck in an incomplete state because ED needs to roll out the next EA module to keep the money flowing again. This is the downward spiral we are stuck in right now.
  3. Agreed. And agreed.
  4. Agreed 100% and I wouldn't think that it would be overly complicated to implement something like this.
  5. I could see this being of use when true Dynamic Campaign is released.
  6. Clouds that aren't synced in multiplayer would kinda defeat the purpose. And I dont even really fly that much multiplayer lately.
  7. I think that is ED's long term plan for many years now. If we think back far enough to before there were this many 3rd Party affiliates (or even none at all) I dont think ED had the staff split 50/50 between Core Engine and Aircraft. In my opinion this would be ideal. ED should focus on core DCS World while 3rd Parties can develop modules of all kinds.
  8. That doesn't necessarily mean that the server browser is at fault. If you were to open a command prompt on your PC a s run 'ping google.com -t' does your latency seem stable or does it bounce around, spiking up high and then back down?
  9. Yeah it seems the problem lies more with the damage models
  10. What's so funny about what he said? He's actually correct, the initial post said nothing about denying access to what you bought yesterday or even last year. It's about getting ongoing updates to the core.
  11. I just dont see any point in a fictional map. The same time, money, and resources could be dedicated to a real world map. It's not like a fictional map would take less time and cost less.
  12. That's a good point. However, Real Weather could still add a lot to multiplayer or a Dynamic Campaign whenever we eventually get one.
  13. I think that's the part that will never end with the current system. Modules will forever remain in EA with a very slow development process while new EA modules need to be released in order to maintain cash flow. And in the end core features/bugs get tossed to the side because there's no financial benefit to fixing them. This is literally the problem we're seeing now with the current system.
  14. Ahh okay I see now. Big thanks to ED for striving to improve the core game but I agree with your sentiment.
  15. Extremely looking forward to this feature. Definitely in my top 5 most wanted things in DCS.
  16. Just like Revs said. Also try to make sure you're using a wired connection straight from your PC to the ISP modem. Dont game on wireless. Beyond that there's not much you can do other than upgrading your internet package with your ISP.
  17. I'm wondering the same thing as well. So confused right now.
  18. Agreed 100% This is the most lacking part of DCS right now.
  19. I've been seeing some people mention lately that they might prefer a Subscription based pay model since it might provide more incentive for the development team to focus more on core features/bugs and on finishing modules that seem to be eternally stuck in Early Access. While I had initially never considered this, and at first I didn't like the idea, I found myself starting to warm up to it the more i thought about it. I wonder what the masses think about this idea. Would you prefer a Subscription based model if it meant more focus could be dedicated to core features/bugs and on getting modules into feature complete states quicker?
  20. Are new weather and clouds in the update released today?
  21. I would take this before Vietnam theater
  22. If I'm not mistaken, the Devs have tools to run a track file through a debug to find issues like that. If you're experiencing this problem it might be worth opening a support ticket with a track file attached showing the issue.
  23. I've had this happen with the F18 on the carrier. If I engage NWS HI before I start rolling while on the carrier the aircraft just goes straight.
  24. Do you have to hold the Capslock down when doing this or does it act as a toggle (on/off)?
